Returned here but ate at the cafe area. It's been a long time since I've eaten here. The food was ok. But not like I remembered. The cafe felt rushed and the food didn't seem as hot. The parking is still hard. They have a lot but you would have to be real lucky. The ambiance is loud as it's a small area so it was hard to talk. But I'll come back again.

Noon O Kabab offers a more causal seating area and a sit-down service area. They have an expansive menu. Service was a little bit slow. The portions themselves are pretty large. However, all the food was bland. The rice was okay and the roti/pita was also pretty flavorless.

The best Persian food in Chicago. Sitting down in this beautifully decorated restaurant is a pleasure, but the carryout service is just as quick and flavorful. I never come to the side of town without stopping here for a filling meal. The portions are huge and delicious and reasonably priced. The steak and chicken kebabs are always cooked perfectly and juicy. I locks the dill rice and fresh cheese and vegetables given with meals. The service here is always warm and friendly.

The kababs here at noon have a great smoky flavor from the grill, and the hummus we started with was excellent. The Koobideh (ground beef) and Chenjeh (ribeye) kababs are incredibly juicy, tender, and infused with deep, smoky flavors from the open flame grill. Paired with their fluffy, aromatic saffron and dill rice, every single bite feels authentic and high quality. The portions are massive you easily get enough for two meals and they include all the traditional extras like fresh pita! It's a beautiful dining room with a beautiful ambiance plenty of seating. My problem is with the service it's always so slow! Other than that 100% recommend!!

This was kind of pricey. It was almost $35 for this and a diet coke can. When I came in, the hostess was about to seat us then a man came and said something to her and they said the wait was 30 minutes or we could go to the back casual section. When we got back there it is a bit hard to navigate considering there are so many tables and chairs. The food was okay but I think the rice needed more seasoning and the lamb kebab needed something. I was fine with this meal but it definitely could've been better. Hence the 3 stars.

Noon O Kabab never disappoints! The food was absolutely outstanding. The chicken kabob was incredibly juicy and flavorful, the beef was tender and perfectly grilled, and the koobideh was seasoned just right. The saffron and dill rice was fluffy and aromatic, and the grilled tomatoes, fresh basil, onions, and lemon completed the meal perfectly. Every bite tasted fresh and authentic. The portions were generous, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. If you're looking for authentic Persian cuisine in Chicago, Noon O Kabab is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back!

It was nice inside. Our server was great. The food was good. But think I prefer the other location.

Has been my go to for years. The lamb shank is my favourite but alao the half and half dill rice. Kabob is unbeatable. The chicken is so soft and tender I thought it was salmon lol. A gem in the neighbourhood.

Still the best kabob in Chicago. You can't go wrong ordering anything. We have ate there, ordered to go and done catering, and each time they are consistently good.

Every dishe we ordered was fresh and tasty. The squab was juicy and well seasoned. The dips were super flavorful and went perfect with the veggie sticks and pita. Portions are MASSIVE. I don't know how anyone can finish their entree here. Folks all seem to leave fully satisfied and with leftoversI can see why this place is often busy and is a local favorite. Service is attentive and kind. There was a mess up with our drink order but it was quickly rectified without any defensiveness or fuss from either side. On-site parking is limited but there's plenty of paid metered street parking.

Feeling good & hopeful about the Bears vs Packers game so had to order from my favorite Persian restaurant @noonokabab to kick up the heat and excitement! Superb chicken and lamb kebabs, lamb shank, dill rice (oh yes!), fresh hummus, pita bread, and cucumber salad. So what if this is just for two? Can never go wrong with this kind of tasty leftovers. And we were rewarded with a miraculous @chicagobears wild card win!! GOOO BEARS!!

I have been coming to noon for over 10 years now. It continues to be one of the best Persian restaurants in the Chicago area with amazing tahdig and koubideh. Recently I tried the fesenjoon which was disappointing and kabab barg was underwhelming overall. Service has continued to improve over the years and they take good care of their patrons. Ambiance is great for large groups and to have a fun meal with family. Highly recommended for some great Koubideh and one of the few places in city to offer Tahdig (can be better). Don't forgot to try the saffron ice cream if your A1c is below 6 :)

This Restaurant is Absolutely Amazing. I have eaten there many times and it's Always a Great experience. The owner is a very Friendly person who welcomes you to restaurant like you are a long time friend. The servers and restaurant workers are all super friendly and make you feel like they invited you to their home. The last time we were there our server Evelyn was simply Amazing and helped us enjoy ourselves. Now let's get to the food. This restaurant has the most Amazing food. Everything I have eaten here is prepared to perfection and has great flavor. Every dish is a very good size portion and every bite is Great. Oh and I forgot to mention that the place is beautiful. When you walk in you feel like you were transported to a Beautiful palace in an another part of the world. So if I were you I would give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised with everything.... Also, for your reference, 5/10 is average to me. Service: Upon arriving, they took our coats which I liked! The hostesses were both very amiable, making small talk before seating us. In between courses, they cleaned the table and provided us with new utensils. Also, the server would explain the dish which is always a nice refresher of what unique combinations of ingredients were used to prepare your dish. Overall: 9/10. Ambiance: I liked the decorations & especially liked the dishes the food was presented on. There is only one dining room, so it felt a bit more intimate since you can usually spot your server in the room attending other guests, waiting to serve others, or assumedly in the kitchen. The one bad thing I will say is that the bathroom door lock is tricky- it's a small button that didn't make a sound when it clicked so the whole time I was using the restroom I was paranoid that someone was going to walk in on me. Overall: 5/10. Food: Kashk-e Bademjan (roasted eggplant dip): Out of the two appetizers offered this was the more flavorful choice. The eggplant was roasted to a smoky flavor, which I loved, and was also contrasted by the cool yogurt dressing. The texture was somewhat chunky. 7/10 Zeytoon Parvardeh (olive tapenade): The olive tapenade was great; flavorful and salty. The aesthetics of the dish were also pretty, but I think this stands in the shadow of the Kashk-e Bademjan. 6/10 Salad-E Shirazi (cucumber salad): I loved the presentation of this dish. They drizzle on the dressing in front of you, which I think really highlights how fresh this dish tasted. The aesthetics alongside with the taste was very bright and refreshing. 8/10 Ash-E Anar (split pea soup): This one really floored us. The umami of the dish was amazing; very earthy and savory and cut by the sweetness of the pomegranate. If I could have a whole pot of this, I would. 10/10 Ozonboron (sturgeon): I loved the aesthetics of this dish with the browned butter saffron cream being contrasted by splashes of green. The flavor of the cream was so delicious and subtly fragrant. The potato croissant was delicious but I barely tasted the impact of the caviar on the croissant, so a little bit more caviar could've sufficed. I will say that I thought the fish was missing a little bit of salt to enhance the flavors (which was supported by my partner too). 7/10. Shishlik (lamb chops): This tasted AMAZING! Grilled to a subtle char on the outside and incredibly juicy and tender on the inside. The pistachio herb sauce reminded me a bit of chimichurri enhancing the smoky flavor of the meat. The rice was nicely flavored too but the star of the show was definitely the lamb chops. 10/10. Tiramisu Zafaran Va Pesteh: I love tiramisu, but this one unfortunately missed the mark. Felt intensely sweet due to the syrup the ladyfingers were soaked in. I would've loved to see the sweetness cut with something bitter or rich, but it was overwhelmingly sweet for my taste. I liked the presentation and the flavor was unique. 4/10. Overall: 8.7/10. I really liked the aesthetics of the dishes and the flavors presented. Service was phenomenal. I would definitely come back here.

The food is where Ēma really shines. From the Happy Hour menu, the Charred Eggplant Hummus and Crispy Potatoes were generously portioned and great for sharing. On the main menu, the Indian-Mediterranean fusion Bhel Hummus was a party for my taste buds, while the Hot Honey Halloumi and Chicken Kefta rounded out the table nicely. The halloumi is more of a side than a main, but that sweet-and-salty hot honey combo was chef's kiss. For our finisher, the Chocolate Torte knocked us out. Decadent, delicious and chocolate with lots of depth. Overall, Ēma is an excellent spot to order a bunch of dishes for the table and get an elevated meal without feeling stuffy, and delicious without taking itself too seriously. I parked in the Park Ridge 90 minute lot across/down the street, which I think folks often use for Panera/Oberweis/etc. I would not recommend parking in the Chase lot. There's also 3 hour city parking near the library, and apparently at 11 N Prospect according to the sign on their door. There's an entrance on Touhy and along Prospect, and there are two different rooms (one near each entrance) so if you're confused and looking for your party like I was, take a look in the other section. Service was really friendly. Our server was attentive, very helpful with all our questions, and happy to get us what we needed. When we didn't have questions, he came back with the answer. I had the green joujeh kebab and it was really good. I've had "plain" joujeh at other places before, and having the different flavor profile was a nice change. I also ordered the dill rice as a substitute for the basmati, which was a slight uncharge. The dill rice was good as usual but next time I might just get the plain since it too would be good, I don't like lima beans (as comes with the dill rice), and I could skip the upcharge. I also ordered a drink, the Windy City, and it was really good! Their cocktail list was very nice. I was here with my book club and everyone enjoyed their meal. The portions were plentiful too; no one went hungry and several people took a portion of theirs home. In addition to the meditteranean food, they have a couple burgers and some wraps too. The soups looked so good but we were here on a rather warm day, so next time I'm trying their chicken noodle soup, made with a tomato base, or their lentil since you can't go wrong with that.
