DANGGGG. Okay pop off, Sinya! I've heard this place being good, but I didn't think it'd be THAT good. The food here is incredible - juicy meat, hot pita, crispy falafel, creamy hummus, and big portions. The staff here is so hospitable, they really go above and beyond to make your experience nice. There's seating inside and outside, we saw both a lot of to-go orders and also a lot of dine-in customers. The food is reasonably priced in my opinion as well. Picked up our food to go. This restaurant was within walking distance of where we were staying. The restaurant was small inside but they had some tables outside. The person at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Since this was our first time 'dining' here we had a number of questions for him. He suggested we try their falafel- it was very good. Crunchy on the outside and quite compact inside. Also had the spinach pie aka as spanakopita. This one was disappointing. I would not recommend. The dough was not made with phyllo like it should but was just a flour dough. The filling had a bitter after taste. We also ordered the chicken kebab plate and the gyro plate. Both were flavorful. Came with hummus and pita bread. Unfortunately did not take any photos of the food -not sure why but I must have been distracted. I have had better Mediterranean meals. We were in the area and I was craving some shawarma and stumbled upon this little gem. My partner got the gyro plate and we agreed we could've shared that together! Portions were huge. Rice was super flavorful as was the gyro meat. We both agreed this dish was the star! The pita bread was fluffy but crispy at the same time. I got the Mediterranean chicken shawarma salad and it was flavorful! The chicken itself was kind of dry but it tasted great. Salad was fresh and light. Excellent quality of ingredients. Got a baklava because it was staring me in the face; yummy but very honey forward. Not my favorite but not the worst, probably would just try something else next time. The restaurant itself was very simple, nothing to see except the menu and the kitchen. The service was great and it came out crazy quick. Came across Sinya via DoorDash when craving Mediterranean! Portion size is definitely big enough to share or have leftovers for a couple of days. The pita and hummus weren't as good as I remembered. The hummus flavor tasted different and kinda off this time. 5/10. The mixed entree had juicy meat, but both the meat and rice were missing the flavor I remembered. 7/10. The salted caramel tahini mocha mostly tasted like milk and barely had any espresso flavor. 3/10. The staff taking our order looked like they did not want to be there. 5/10 service. The food was great, service was good and they were very quick and efficient. The one thing I like about this place is that they use a very thin slicer to pull the gyros and you do not see a lot of places do that anymore. The thin gyros makes for such a nice wrap or sandwich. Please don't change that! The chicken is cooked nicely and has a little tartness to it which pairs nicely with the tahini and red sauce within the wrap. Overall, the place has great food at a great price and a great pick up spot if you're in the mood for some thinly sliced meats. read more

I order their lamb / beef shawarma whenever I am working in the area. The food has ALWAYS been on point! The meat is super flavorful and not dry at all. I love it with the hummus and pickles, and with a little hot sauce.... delicious! I've also had their lentil soup, which was good. I would like to check them out for dinner, because they have some hefty looking plates from what I was scoping out while picking up my order. The interior is not too big, but you get a great view of the food prep area. The staff is always very nice, and quick to answer any questions. I've paid with cash, with card, and with E-pay via my phone without issue. I've only come in the afternoon, but I've never had an issue finding a parking spot to grab my order real fast. Once the weather warms up I'm going to bring my kids for food and to hit up the park down the street for a picnic. read more

Carry out packaging is very good compared to most other places odor carry out. The chicken kebab is decadent. The only things I would truly improve are the pitas, which are (terrible!!!) not soft enough or warm (big miss in a place like this), the beef on the salad was fatty and not fresh, the felafel was dried out,, and the salad dressing was too sour, akin to a store-bought flavor. The kebabs were made with chicken breast but the rest of the chicken dishes were made from breast and thighs, in case you prefer breast. read more

Finally got a chance to try Sonya, and it didn't disappoint. They say they have curbside, but apparently not.... I could find any instructions for it so I threw caution to the wind, put on my flashers, and went in to pick up. Mint lemonade intrigued me even though I'm not a mint fan and it was worth it.
