I recently got my lashes done , I did the classic at first with noori and I went home and woke up the 2nd day most of my lashes have fell off , I paid a lot of money for it as well, I call noori to tell her she blamed it it's my eyes fault! I have done classic lashes before and it lasts up two weeks until they start falling off. I called back the 3rd day and she said if I came after 24 hrs of her doing my lashes she would of fixed it with no charge , but since it's been 3 days she is charging me extra money to fix them, even though I did call the 2nd day! So I still went and got them done again the 3rd day with someone else , she noticed that the products that noori has for lashes isn't the best product as well! She kind of fixed them but still I went home and they still fall off and it's not been a week yet and they are all mostly gone like I haven't gotten them done! I paid so much money to get scammed and have my money taken from me! I do not recommend anyone to get there lashes done there unless u want to get scammed and have ur money taken from you with bad products to be put on your eyes! read more

This was my second time here. The first time I went in the lady fixed my eyebrows, I didn't even know it was possible! I was previously going somewhere else for a few years, and they got new people and they ruined my eyebrows :( so I found this place since it's across the street from my new home. First, the cute decoration caught my eye. Second, it was very clean and peaceful. 3rd, the prices are great. The ladies are very sweet and patient. This was my first time getting a Brazilian done and it was such a good experience!! The woman who did my wax was amazing, she made sure after every pull that I was okay. She tried to keep the conversation flowing because, of course, my first timers anxiety lol. She gave clear instructions on what to do and was so nice. I honestly was extremely disappointed in this place. It's a pretty nice clean salon and they got me in quick so 2 stars for that but that's where it ends unfortunately. I got an eyelash tint....what a waste of money. I was rushed back into a room and the woman got straight to work with zero talking zero explanation. My eyes were on fireeeee the whole time I nearly had a panic attack trying to keep them closed. She came rushing back into the room, roughly removed the tint, rushed me to the register and when I looked my eyelids were covered in the dye and my lashes looked no different :/ super bummed I really hate bashing a local business but this is warranted. read more

Today I bit the bullet and got my first Brazilian wax. I was entirely nervous about a stranger being all up in my personal space. I think that's the politically correct terminology. I was greeted by Susan immediately upon walking in. She has such a calming personality. I was skeptical about going through with it but I made it that far. No sense wasting the gas so there I was laying there in front of a stranger. We're not strangers anymore. Susan talked me through the process and I was at ease almost immediately except for the painful parts. It's been 4 hours since I left and I feel normal unless I touch the area. It's still a little tender. I was treated very well and I couldn't have asked for a better experience, again except for the painful parts which of course can't be avoided. I recommend this place for any first timers because by the end Susan made me feel like it was a natural part of grooming. read more

I decided to try out this salon because I was interested in threading vs. waxing. I was very pleased with my visit. Noori was very professional and calming. She assured me that I would be happy with the results, and I was very much so! The threading seems to last longer than waxing. Since my first visit I have been back twice and will keep coming to her with my business. Both my daughters have had threading done there as well, and they are happy with their results. Today was my first threading ever! It was so much less painful than waxing! It was in and out in 15 minutes for a full facial threading. Noori is very professional and very proficient at threading. The salon is absolutely beautiful and super clean. I highly recommend Noori's Threading. read more

LONG POST ALERT! I struggle writing this because I don't want to put down a small business, however after weeks of trying to come to a solution I have no choice. I had my eyelashes done at Noori's in the Ralphs Shopping Center. It was my first time ever and they "looked" beautiful. My eyes burned like nobody's business directly after but I was assured it was because the glue didn't dry yet. A couple weeks later there was a bit of discomfort and pain, however I figured this meant it was time to fill. I went in and had them filled and mentioned the pain. There was no info on care after. Additional lashes were placed. More terrible burning after. About two or three days later the pain was not tolerable. Lashes were falling off in clumps including my own lashes. Touching my lashes with my finger or laying on my pillowcase hurt. Noori's was closed and I couldn't take the pain anymore. I went to another estetician to have them removed. She told me they appeared to be done by someone who did not know what they were doing. There was a massive amount of glue and clumps glued to multiples of my own lashes which was the source of the pain as your lashes grow in different cycles. Apparently the pain was my lashes pulling away from my lid while trying to grow out. . She told me to let my lashes rest. (She was more concerned for my well being than easily getting $125 to put lashes on for me again) She told me she wouldn't feel right putting more on. In this case I contacted Noori personally on her FB messenger and tried my best to have her show compassion and refund the money I was out. At no point did she take responsibility for the damage she personally caused my lashes, and said she would put more on for me. (The last thing I wanted done by her again), but also only wanted to refund me $45 when I paid almost $100 the first time, not including tip and another $45 or so, not including tip for a fill. This makes me sad as I would think a new business owner in such a tight community would want to take care of their clients. Especially since word of mouth advertisement is the best advertisement. I am just letting you all know about my expierence. I have talked to three other ladies who as well have had the same expierence. No good. I went in to get eyelash extensions, as soon as she began it hurt the whole two hours I was there. Plus, at the end she said "I am so sorry if you catch my flu." I repeatedly told her that my eyes were itching and burning the whole time and she said that was normal and it's not because it's not the first time I've gotten my lashes done. As soon as I left, my eyes were immediately red and the tape they use was still on my eyes and the lashes were poking my eye. The next day, I went to the doctors because my eyes were still red, itching and burning and I got a bacterial infection in both my eyes. I did get my money back but now the owner called to harass me about sending my medical documents. I WILL NOT be going back there again. read more
