Went into Norcal to buy lots of stuff. Ended up buying two items. To be truthful, I kind of regret doing that due to the service. The service people here were inattentive . They never once asked us if they could help us or if we wanted to look at something. These two Emplyee guys were having a heavy conversation and barely even bothered to look up at us when we entered the building. They mostly watched us the whole time we were there shopping. I got the feeling that they thought we were going to steal something. Like we were really going to steal something from Locked glass counters & display cases.. ha! They bordered on the line of being semi rude.. They kept bragging about being in cahoots with the Placer County Sheriffs Department. What that meant I do not know. Anyway, I've got lots of dough to spend in places like these. However, I will not be returning here to Norcal anytime in the near future, if ever. They had a fairly nice display of firearms but nothing so spectacular that I would ever want to go back there after my experience with them. Sad, that they don't know who the big spenders are.. He he.. not that, that matters in the least. Even if you were there to buy nothing at all, , just browsing, It is still good business practice to at least address your customers in a polite manner. I had my very well kept scoot towed to this place yesterday, told them what the entire problem was, and was assured that they would get my scooter running and give it a thorough once over. They called me very shortly thereafter and told me to come pick it up which I did. I was charged $140 for fixing an electrical short. It ran home with no problem, but would not start this morning when I went out to ride it to the hospital for my shift. It was making the same noise I described to the shop yesterday. When I called, I was not treated with much courtesy, and told that they had fixed the problem I brought it in for, and that since it had run on my way home that it was basically not their problem. I was talked over, argued with, and spoken down to. I was told that there is no way to check a battery besides trying to start the scoot. I'm not sure if they think all of their customers are stupid or just the female ones, but please don't use these guys if you enjoy being treated like a human being. read more

I bought a used scooter off craigslist. Needed alot more work then the seller told me... i took it to nor cal scooter to get fixed up. They had resonable prices and got the job done prety fast. The 2 mechanics i met where verry helpfull and frindly and the workers inside witch sounded like one of the mechanics wife was extreemly helpfull and found every extra piece i wanted for me my wife and the scooter with out the upsell speach you get from most shops. All in all my scooter runs great . They kept me in my budget and they did everything they could to make me happy. I wrote a super long review and yelp glitched and lost everything I wrote....all I will say is: the scooter I bought here is a piece of crap. Their paperwork is always super generic so when it brought it in for warranty repair, there is not even paperwork stating what they were fixing. They did not actually fix the gas gauge like they were supposed to and we didn't realize it wasn't working so we ran out of gas (stranded out in the country) and now it won't start again. It's out of warranty now and I have no way of proving what they were supposed to repair because their paperwork doesn't say anything. They probably do that on purpose so they do not have to be held accountable for anything. Would never buy or have my scooter repaired here again. The owner talks to you like you are stupid if you ask too many questions or ask for better paperwork. Just a bad experience all over. read more

The "mechanic" (I use this term VERY loosely as his work is absolutely horrible) and his wife are unprofessional and when caught in a lie, will refuse you service. I will be reporting them to BBB and BAR as well. This business is potentially killing people. They sold me a used tire "brand new" that separated and I almost crashed. Then when changing the tire, the "mechanic" Johnny completely ignored the gaping hole the tire flap made in my air intake. Please don't pay attention to these other ridiculous reviews. I can't express how much I love my scooter and have recommended this shop to everyone who stops to talk to me about my scooter. (which is pretty much every time I ride it) NOTICE there are about 20 "hidden" reviews on this place and 99% are positive. Really not sure why Yelp is trying to screw them? Are they Chinese? Sure, but they're also $1400 brand new! 1 yr warranty and 5 yrs of free oil changes. Seriously. Bought mine in Feb 12 and have already put almost 1500 mi on it. Had and issue at about 500 mi with is stalling. Turns out I let a little dirt in with the gas and was clogging the carb. Even though this was my fault, they blew the carb out, good to go, no charge. I had a Vespa in High School and a Kawasaki 650 as an adult, so it's not my 1st ride.. These bikes are well put together and a blast to ride. read more

I should have read more reviews. Their website was really poorly made and off putting, but I was excited they were open on Sunday since none of the other scooter places in Sacramento are. But. They are not. Their inventory does not look very large from looking through the window either, and they had no hours posted. I gave them one star thinking it would not get flagged so finger are crossed! I have had my pink scooter for 2 years now and have 1600 miles on it. I have kept up with my oil changes as they recommended and have not had any problems. When I initially purchased my pink scooter they did not have the trunk in, but as promised they did receive one on one of their next shipments and they installed the trunk. I bought my first two wheeler from norcal later last year and it has been a great investment, the mileage can't be beat and when I broke down (from a broken belt) they fixed it quickly and had it available within hours despite the fact that I forgot to have the tow truck bring my keys, They seem really focused on customer service and didn't make me feel like a moron when teaching me about maintenance on this very different type of vehicle. They offer a warranty that allowed me to get free oil changes and repairs just at part-cost without labor fees. All in all I'm no expert, so this probably not the best scooter, but it is reliable, VERY fun to ride, and I haven't had one reason to regret my decision, If anything I have been a bit of a hassle of a customer, lagging on maintenence and upkeep, But they have always treated me with respect and with great customer service. Plus the repair guy is really sharp, knows these scooters inside and out, and that's what I want when I'm purchasing a product, to know at least SOMEONE knows what's wrong with it. He has diagnosed problems with my scooter twice over the phone, and one of those times saved me a repair trip. Thanks! I felt an obligation to write a review because I read the other review and It seemed like they weren't too pleased with their service but I definitely was. Small businesses like this need a good reputation to survive, and they definitely have a good reputation with ME. So I thought I'd help them out, because I have reccomended them to people already and the two people that bought them love theirs too. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We bought our daughter a scooter to take to college. We brought it back for service because it only starts 2 out of 10 times. They told us it was our fault & refused to even work on the scooter. Our daughter is now at college with a scooter that won't start & no way to get it to a shop. I bought my PINK and white scooter from Jim almost 4 years ago now; I still love it as though I bought it yesterday. I take very good care of it and in turn Jim and Johnny and Tania take care of me. I read through one review here where she said she didn't take her scooter in until a year later?!!? WTH?! you should be having the oil changed and checking fluids periodically; she clearly knows nothing about owning a motorized vehicle. I would recommend anyone who wants to purchase one, first educate yourself on what is involved with caring for a scooter; then go buy one and ENJOY! They give you a bumper to bumper warranty, 5 years free oil changes and they are always diligent about looking out for when I might need a new tire or some other safety concern. I LOVE THEM!
