Enjoying my new touring. 2nd bike I bought from Omega this year. First one a zx6r vs still going strong.

What can I say... after purchasing my zx6r from Omega back in May I've been itching for another bike. I went there a month ago to look at a busa they had posted online, but someone bought it just before I got there. Fast forward to Labor day weekend they had another busa I went to look at but the white Vulcan Vaquero caught my eye. I really liked having a cruiser and a sport bike back in the day and after some time going between the busa and Vulcan I went with the Vulcan touring. I have nothing but positive experiences all the times I came by Omega. Shawn, Tony and the rest of the team were always very easy going and didn't have that attitude like some of the big store sales folks have. I didn't feel pressured or feel like I was wasting their time when I was asking questions and checking out the bikes. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a bike and don't want to pay full retail. Their stock is clean and I like that they have a lot of choices for a small space. I probably won't be going back for a while, but only because I would probably end up buying another bike.

So Happy With My 2013 gsxr750

The owner is a man of his word, I bought a 2016 R1 and wasn't happy with it. Kept dying on me too new of a bike for me too much technology. Owner had it picked up twice from Vacaville for me brought it in and couldn't find anything wrong with it. Did above and beyond to figure out the issue and the issue was me! Lol ended up getting a 2013 Suzuki 750 that's perfect for me and the way I ride. Also gave me back the 2 grand difference. Great business, exchanged my bike when in all reality he didn't have to just did it to ensure I was extremely happy with my purchase which I am!

I bought a motorcycle from Omega a couple months ago.IThey said the were selling it for somebody else.I looked it over and the started it ,everything seemed to be ok.So I bought it and trailered it home and was busy with other things so I didnt get to it right away.Took it for a ride and found out the speedo, horn all lights dont work.Fuse was blown, changed it and it and it blew right away.Direct short someplace but cant find it and the tssm is out.My bad for not checking everything out,but I think they knew about it.I know it was an as is sale so its my bad.Make sure you check everything out before you buy from them.Gary from Concord.

As of now, they gave my Kitty, let's see how the results turn out to replace the gas tank.

Words cannot express how amazing and supportive they are. If I was staying in town I will continue my services with them. Thank you Tony! And Crew!

The minute I arrived, my bike was triaged like a patient in the emergency ward, but without the wait. Andron's attention to detail elicited immediate trust from me. The atmosphere is like that of hanging out in your buddy's garage with great music and tons of random things to look at. When it came time to pay, I was shocked at the low price. Finally, I have found precision-minded mechanics I can trust at a price that can't be beat, but the experience alone is worth the ride out there!

This business lacks any regard or basic respect for its residential neighbors. At any given time, there are large groups of people congregated outside Velo Trap for 12-15 hours a day. They blast loud music at all hours. They have a yippy dog that often barks all day. They set up a red tent and bike gear on the side of the street where they are not located, which blocks through traffic in the alley. They block people from entering their own garages. The workers and patrons of Velo Trap chain smoke cigarettes and litter their cigarette butts all over others' property. Often, they set up chairs and bikes in front of other people's garages making it difficult to enter and exit our own residences. It seems like people are illegally living at Velo Trap. Even when Velo Trap is closed (on Sunday and Monday), dozens of people are gathered out front making noise and disturbing the neighbors at all hours. One night they kept playing Usher over and over at 1 in the morning. This area is residential. We shouldn't have to deal with Velo Trap's constant partying every single night of the week. The rent here is expensive, and we can't even peacefully enjoy our homes. This is entirely the owner's fault. He should know better than to allow this incredibly rude, inconsiderate behavior at his place of business, but he's too busy playing Peter Pan to the group of lost boys who need to find something else to do besides stand in front of his business for 12-15 hours a day. And on another note, organizing a mass bike ride to start at 5:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning in front of your business is completely disrespectful of your neighbors who are trying to sleep at the end of the work week. Again, the area is residential. This is beyond rude and inconsiderate. Velo Trap, you are an awful neighbor. The inconsideration and the audacity are unacceptable. If you need to party 12-15 hours a day, do it at your own home and stop bothering your neighbors.

EXPERIENCE ONE: 6/20/13 Thu: I drop motorcycle off at West Side Motorcycle. After a quick review, their diagnosis is that my bike needs three (3) parts replaced: Stator 21-206 ($139.95), Rectifier/Regulator 2112-0009 ($104.95) and Starter Solenoid 2110-0397 ($39.95). I need to have my motorcycle back on the road (as this is my only vehicle) so I instruct them to have the parts replaced as soon as possible. They place an order with their supplier: Rick's Motorsport Electrics. I ask WSM if I need to leave any money for the parts but they say it is not needed. 6/27/13 Thu: I receive a call from WSM asking me to go back to the shop and pay for the parts prior to installation. I said "but I asked you last week if any money was needed and you said no." They apologize but are adamant on getting paid for the parts that day. I had a friend driving to the shop and dropping off $350.00 - received by Jeff. 6/28/13 Fri: I call WSM and ask for status on my bike. They confirm have received two of the parts but the last one is still en route. 7/1/13 Mon: I call the shop at 10am and speak with Jeff. The last part had arrived and they will work on the bike. Bike should be ready around noon. 7/1/13 Mon: I stop by WSM at 12:15pm and I hear them working on the bike, trying to make it start. They show me the solenoid they bought. It only has two prongs instead of the required four prongs. They were sent the wrong part but were trying to make the bike start using the wrong part. They tell me they are going to "Yamaha" in the afternoon and get the right part. 7/3/13 Wed: I am told by WSM my bike needs a new battery ($80.00) as the previous one was damaged by the malfunctioning parts prior to installation. Note: This is a 2-month old battery. 7/8/13 Mon: I go to the shop again but the bike is not ready. I show them how I could make the motorcycle start by putting it on first gear then rocking the bike back and forth, which seems to affect the starter. I press the start button and the bike starts. This makes them realize the problem is on the starter. 7/10/13 Wed: "The motorcycle is ready," they say on the phone. I go to the shop and pay $275.00 more for labor and new battery. Total cost: $625.00 7/10/13 Wed: The good news is I am able to start the motorcycle and take it home, much to my relief. Bad news: 1) the seat was put back in such wrong way that is now stuck; I had to use a wrench in order to have it removed; 2) under the seat I found the newly purchased, wrong solenoid, inside a small box from Rick's Motorsport Electrics, placed behind my jump-start cable, hidden; I checked the solenoid that was installed and it is the old solenoid, never replaced, which means I paid $39.95 for a part that was never installed; 3) my battery cover is missing; 4) the button for emergency light (blinkers) is stuck all the way in, making the blinkers malfunction; I had to use a knife to pull it out. 7/18/13 Thu: The issue is back... only one week after I got the bike back. The motorcycle won't start again. Luckily I found someone to help me push start the bike and get back home. EXPERIENCE TWO 8/5/13 Mon: I find a used Starter on eBay, which matches model and year of my motorcycle. 8/16/13 Fri: I find an old friend, a motorcycle mechanic. I drop the motorcycle off at his shop. 8/17/13 Sat: He replaces the Starter and tells me there was never any issue with Regulator or Solenoid. Those parts were actually never replaced. The motorcycle is fine now. I paid $60.00 for the Starter (eBay price) plus $100.00 for labor and oil change. Total cost: $160.00

He spent a tremendous amount of time answering my questions, helping me understand the process, and putting a deal together. As a new rider, I appreciated the effort he put in. The problem wasn't the salesperson. The problem was management. I was purchasing a motorcycle along with roughly $2,000 in riding gear. At some point during the process, there was a misunderstanding regarding a pair of boots that I believed were included in the deal. When I discovered they were not, I wasn't asking for the motorcycle price to be lowered. I wasn't negotiating freight, setup fees, or other dealer charges. In fact, I agreed to buy the motorcycle at the advertised price. I simply tried to find a reasonable solution to a misunderstanding that occurred during the sales process. When I spoke with GSM Joe O, I suggested multiple compromises, including splitting the difference. Instead of working toward a solution, Joe interrupted me saying I was "talking in circles" and made it clear he wasn't willing to do anything further. He was not willing to do anything to try and make the deal right. I'll own my part. After that conversation, I told Cody via the messaging system that I thought Joe had been rude and was acting like D. Was that the most professional wording? No. But it was an honest reaction to how I felt I had been treated. What happened next is what shocked me. After weeks of communication, countless conversations, and a customer who was ready to buy, I was informed by Joe that he no longer wanted my business. Despite his salesperson reaching out that day to button up the deal.... My wife had approved the purchase, the down payment was ready, and the only remaining question I had was regarding delivery. The deal was done. See text attached. I never shopped this deal around. I trusted the dealership, worked exclusively with them for weeks, and was prepared to move forward. What makes this so disappointing is that it appears the transaction wasn't canceled because of price, financing, or an unreasonable request. It appears it was canceled because I expressed an unfavorable opinion about the GSM Joe. If that's the case, then management allowed personal feelings to override common sense. A sale was lost. A salesperson lost a commission after investing weeks of effort. The dealership lost revenue. And a customer who was ready to buy walked away. Strong leaders can handle criticism. Strong leaders separate their feelings from business decisions. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. Today I'll be driving to the Bay Area to purchase a motorcycle that Elk Grove Powersports could have sold. That fact alone tells the story better than I ever could.
