I bought a motorcycle from them a couple years ago. I still have it. Within a month of having it. My headlights blew out. There was a short in the wiring for the spotlights. Ended up blowing the starter as well. That was the start of my issues with the bike. The bike has been in and out of the shop every 2 months. 3 staters were out in, and now there is an oil leak that they can't seem to find, yet every time I park the bike within an hour there are drops of oil under the bike. They keep saying they can't find the leak or any leak at all. ​I wouldn't recommend buying a bike from them or taking a bike there for service. My sportbike was in and out of Omega too many times in 2021. While all of the staff and owner are good-natured people who will make things right the best that they can, that alone doesn't make me trust a shop with my motorcycle. I live more than 20 miles from the shop. However, my first choice didn't want to undertake a diagnose and repair charging system issue. Suzuki dealers (Elk Grove) won't service bikes older than 9 years. Omega was recommended by my first choice shop. I can understand that Omega's most capable mechanic was a constant no show, basic mistakes should never have occurred. Most of the time the fairing bolts were put in the wrong place. The bolt near the rear brake is short, but they always placed the long bolt there. The fairing would have 1/2" play and be vulnerable to breaking. I went to swap the battery and the seat bolt was overtightened. The negative battery connector was jacked and twisted so that the wire was on the verge of tearing. The underseat fairing tabs were not placed in their holes. They didn't replace all of the fairing plugs they took out in the same area. The last two things caused me to abandon my planned motorcycle ride at pre-ride fuel-up to take it back to Omega. Someone was negligent in how they handled my mirrors (or gave a hard bump to it) and my right mirror was irrepairably loose (the shop replaced it but that too required another visit). After the last shop visit to remedy the FI light, the passenger seat lock was not put back in place. So I couldn't remove the rear seat and Tony had to finagle it open with a random tool. The amount of careless mistakes is unreal and completely unacceptable. Anyone doing something mechanical should be calm, cool and thorough. If you don't insert plastic fairing tabs where they're supposed to go and you don't notice it, what else are you missing that I can't see or sense? The shop undertook replacing most of the exhaust parts that the original owner removed and disrespectfully didn't replace nor tell me about. Problem is, this was above the skill set of the two main mechanics (that mostly know cruisers) that show up each day. The most skilled mechanic ghosted the shop because of personal problems. So even though the shop installed the $2,000+ in parts that I personally obtained, I had to bring the bike back at least 3-4 times for them to get it right because the adjustment wasn't correct and the ECU kept throwing an FI code. Because of this and the machine not starting or shutting off on its own, I was always concerned that my bike would fail on each of the few rides I went on in 2021. Where a sportbike rider goes you never want to be stranded. Especially a lone female rider. I wasn't welcome to join a motorcycle group I ride with because you have to show up with a full tank *and* a mechanically sound machine. I did not have a mechanically sound machine. Matthew is a good service writer and knows bikes very well. He's also great at handling frustrated customers. Tony is almost as good at handling frustrated customers as Matthew. I didn't engage with Tai and the other guys too much and that's fortunate for them because this was a frustrating experience that started on MLB Giants opening day 2021 (4-9-21) and didn't end until 8-28-21. You might say that's quick during 'rona and given peak season, but I had to come here something like 15x. And had to finagle rides to/from home or allow them to haul the bike (without canyon dancers - the throttle grip was open during transit and I don't like that). My stress levels are high on their own and I can't endure the stress that this shop caused me. I was and still am blown away by the amount of careless mistakes that I can't write a stream-lined review. I hope you get a clear picture of my experience. Your experience may be similar or it could be different based on many different factors. If they can get a damn good and reliable "A-level" mechanic, and ensure that all junior mechanic work is checked, and everyone does thorough work, this shop could be great. I want this shop to thrive and be great, but I don't have confidence in them at this time. And I really don't want a more serious problem (that I can't see or detect) to occur if I brought it in again. I'm really not sure where I'll be taking my Suzuki when it needs service next, but unless they get a rockstar "A-level mechanic" (that is also the epitome of reliable) that works very well on sportbikes, I can't bring my motorcycle here. Good luck Yelp users and Omega Motorcycles. P.S. their mechanic space and where the bikes brought in for service are kept - it gets extremely dusty. I took my Harley sportster there because it sputtered and wouldn't run. Carburetor was previously looked at and I told them it must be a loose connection. They said it was fixed, rode home and didn't make it. Towed it back, said it was fixed and got stranded 1 mile away and they came and got me. Didn't hear from them for several weeks and finally called, which they said my bike is fine and come get it. They basically washed their hands of it and said it rode fine to Davis and back which was a lie because I couldn't make it home again. I unloaded the bike for nearly nothing because I'm not mechanically inclined and frustrated. I called the purchasing party to see if they fixed it. They informed me that their backyard mechanic found that the wiring was melted together near the motor, problem solved. I paid $600 for nothing and he fixed it for $300. I told them it was a bad connection and apparently they didn't even look. read more

Needless to say for an entire summer my husbands bike he bought for the summer has been in the shop. Not one phone call from them. My husband has over 4500 dollars in rental car cost - gas of course and he took the rental car back yesterday being told it would be ready. What can I say... after purchasing my zx6r from Omega back in May I've been itching for another bike. I went there a month ago to look at a busa they had posted online, but someone bought it just before I got there. Fast forward to Labor day weekend they had another busa I went to look at but the white Vulcan Vaquero caught my eye. I really liked having a cruiser and a sport bike back in the day and after some time going between the busa and Vulcan I went with the Vulcan touring. I have nothing but positive experiences all the times I came by Omega. Shawn, Tony and the rest of the team were always very easy going and didn't have that attitude like some of the big store sales folks have. I didn't feel pressured or feel like I was wasting their time when I was asking questions and checking out the bikes. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a bike and don't want to pay full retail. Their stock is clean and I like that they have a lot of choices for a small space. 3 stars because of experience and about 4 months down the road with the Slingshot. I came in here and Shawn i believe his name was helped me find financing and walk out within the same day. The price tag was more pricey than what KBB suggested ($2500) more to be exact but it only had 12k miles so i considered it good, i talked him down about a grand but it still came out to the price tag due to taxes and fees. About a month and a half down the road, i had realized the slingshot had a cracked coolant and leaks very slowly and I honestly didn't notice. The day i got it, he mentioned to me about AFTER the paperwork was completed that it was AS IS + no warranty. So obviously i couldn't take it back for them to fix it. I did drive it over 7 hours and it performed flawlessly. No other issues known. Also it took about a month + to get my plates, they told me they lagged a little. I spent about 16000+ at a motorcycle dealership and didn't get anything thrown in like a helmet or anything. And that's ok. Average experience, 3 stars! read more

Love my new motorcycle, process was easy. I would have given them 5 starts but once they sell the bike there is no follow up, and they sent all registration and pink slip to my old address. We discussed my new address and I filled out a form with it updated since my DL wasnt correct just yet. After months pass and I contact them they brushed me off with no effort in helping. I paid $145 for fees to them, now I must pay $100 at the DMV because of a mistake they made. They also got the exact sticker price which I had gladly gave them to get what I wanted, although I overpaid I thought it would be returned with excellent support and customer service, this was not the case therefore I will never return for future business. Initially, l thought this place was great and it was black owned which isn't important but something l haven't seen alot of with Motorcycle shops and it made me kinda proud. They helped me out by picking the bike up (an Amigo 125) and they always seemed pleasant and friendly to me when l stopped in for updates. Unfortunately the situation wouldnt end positively. The bike went in for diagnostic in July/August of 2021 and l was finally told that it was Fixed, running fine and could be picked up around December 2021 but due to lack of place to store it and with Tony aware of my situation l just picked it pick up on 3/10/22. Allegedly, the part that was needed, some sort of a shock absorber was impossible to find as the bike is manufactured in China.. or so Tony claimed. He charge me slightly under 500 bucks for their so called "work" When l went in to pick the bike up Tony seemed anxious and like he wanted it out of there quick. I noticed it but didn't inquire about his agitation wish now that l had though. I also couldnt help but to notice how filthy the bike was (to be fair it was dirty when it went in) but l would expect that after charging so much for so little they would at least have the decency to wipe their "work" down and make it presentable, Or least thats what professionals do on All of the gear head shows l watch on tv. But l guess this is real life, not tv?? Clearly, Omega Motorcycle didnt appreciate or respect my time or business/money!! But, what l think really added the insult to this injury... The bike broke down while l was out test riding it!! I KID U NOT!! I rode about an hour locally on the streets, then it started to stall then finally shut down on Winding Way off of Manzanita and as far as l know is still there!! So on that note l say if u are a female please take someone whom they're intimated by to keep them on the straight and narrow. I went in thinking the process was going to be a long and nit picking experience but they not only welcomed me but helped me pick out the perfect bike. I bought a 07 GSXR 600 with only 7k miles and it literally is a brand new bike. Who ever the previous owner was kept it in tip top shape. Shawn helped me pick the bike I wanted, and Ann helped me finance it. They gave some good advice and treated me like a valued customer. I'm a new rider, so it was important to feel like I was being brought along with honesty and integrity, and they sure as heck delivered. Ha! If I could give no stars, I would. Just called in to see about getting help with installing a new handlebar on our bike. Tony did a great job of responding in an incredibly condescending way when we simply asked whether or not they would be able to drill a hole into the bar for the clutch and throttle housing units. I suppose he didn't like that we tried to install the handlebars ourselves, because his response was "Its just a drill. You just drill a hole into it. And you've already started the job. Bought a zx6r from Omega. Staff was friendly and upfront the entire time. Shawn answered tons of questions leading up to the purchase. Never once did I feel pressured into buying a bike. Shawn helped me narrow down my choices and I couldn't be happier with the bike I selected. Omega offers a 30 day warranty and they will honor it. Shortly after my purchase I noticed leaky fork seals. I called Omega and they scheduled the repair with a local shop in my town. That saved me a 1 1/2 hour ride so I was very grateful for that. This is the worst experience i have had with a dealership, and i work at a dealership and know what is supposed to be done one the vehicles/motorcycles. I bought a bike here not to long ago and has cost me over 500$ in parts which is outrageous they do not perform a correct pre delivery inspection my bike leaked as soon as it left that place. Mechanics there "fixed" my issue then one day later still leaked had to take it back again, warranty they try and up sell on you does not cover 75% of the things they will promise read the fine print, overall good prices on bikes, but trust me you will have issues with it so with that being said thank you for being my #1 shadiest used motorcycle dealership! I came in this shop about a week ago, let me tell you that I have found "The Only Shop" I will ever go to. Now I know there are bad reviews to couple the good ones, you just can't make everyone happy because everyone is different and everyone has different ideas of how to be treated. That being said I couldn't recommend these guys more. I went in there thinking I would get a motorcycle and be on my way as I did when I got my 06 Katana 600. I couldn't be more surprised by the outcome of my trip. The financing application was pain free and straight forward, everyone there treated me with respect and kindness. I came back because I was having problems with a Bluetooth I bought for my helmet and they made sure I was taken care of. After ordering me a custom helmet with built in Bluetooth as well as giving me a discounted price, I left thinking that it is more than just a motorcycle shop... they care about what they do! They all ride and understand what people want in a bike before you make your purchase and after. It's not just about selling you the motorcycle/Gear and getting you on your way for these guys. They want to make sure that you have a safe and nice ride even after they hand you those keys. I would definitely check the rate on lease they use Moto lease out of Los Angeles. Please check the reviews I found not one satisfied with Moto lease agreement for lease. If you have bad credit please just save or find some type of financing. You will pay around 10,000. To 17,000 for a 5k bike. I know by experience my bike totalled 6,200. With Moto lease total payment is 17,000. All of my friends whom went thru Omega received the same deal. Moto lease is for if your desperate for a bike. If you crash your full coverage most likely won't cover the full cost of loan. So your out a bike and still owe money. After being hurt whom wants to deal with that. They've got a decent selection, some really nice bikes and then even more "not-so-nice" bikes. The lady that works there is real laid back but when she was supposed to just be checking to see if I qualified for financing she actually completed 99% of the sale paperwork without giving me a chance to really think about it or negotiate witch was a huge turn off for me to this dealer but in the Sacramento area as far as used motorcycles this is about all we've got and it was the middle of summer and I was determined to buy a bike. I ended up buying a Ducati at full asking price just to find out 2 days later the gas light was broken and ran it out of gas leaving me stranded on the highway... Dropped my bike off for a brake line replacement on Wednesday. Said they would have the part by Monday or Tuesday . Here it is Friday . Called them . Supplier was on vacation screwed up the order and now it may be at least another week for the part . I asked " can't you expedite it " no they said . It would be another 70 dollars . Spent $1,600 last month there . After this is done it will be almost $3,000 . And even with their / their suppliers screwing up they can't spend $70 more to fix this .. wow .. will update this review as it transpires but as of now I ain't happy read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this dealer. On 6/28/19 I bought a 1984 Yamaha Virago from them. Although I was initially told it would have a 30 day warranty, the owner, Tony, explained before we signed the papers that because I bargained the price down he didn't want to give me any warranty. I eventually convinced him to give me a 10 day powertrain warranty. 15 days later the engine had major internal problems including bent valves on the rear cylinder. I knew there was no warranty because my 10 days had passed. However, here I am a month and a half after I bought it and still no title. After 3 calls and an email, Tony finally called and said that dmv got my address wrong. I explained that I paid his shop a $65 document prep fee so this was their problem. He said he would take care of it. Then I emailed again asking for status on the title and asking if they would give me a break on labor costs fixing the bike since it had major mechanical problems 5 days after the warranty expired. So far, crickets on both issues. Now I have a bike with a blown engine and no title and they have my $1,900. I'm going to avoid this place in the future and I think you should too. It's too bad because Tony seems like a nice guy and they have a fantastic selection of used bikes, but he has rude people working for him that seem not to care about their jobs or his business, being sloppy with dmv paperwork and then telling customers it's not their problem and that the customer needs to sort it out with dmv. Update 8/20/19 - Tony called me and said he straightened out the DMV issue and they'll be sending me my title soon. He also said that he would work with me on parts and labor to try to get my bike back on the road since it had a major engine problem so soon after I bought it from him. So I'm changing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars, and depending on how it turns out, maybe 5 stars. I am very surprised and delighted that Omega is taking steps towards fixing my issues. Earlier this year, bear with me on the timeline, I was looking to buy a used motorcycle from someone on Craigslist. The seller of that bike stated that it would need some work done (smokes at freeway speeds). I had agreed to buy the bike and meet up to buy it in a couple days so I had a free day to call a couple places to get an idea of how much it would cost. Omega was the third place that I had called and found that their hourly rate was less than the first two (score!). Later that day I had been in the area so I decided to stop in and see what I should expect as far as a timeline for the repair work. I was immediately greeted as I walked in we started talking shop with an honest approach. Even though I have moderate mechanic skills, I wasn't sure of what to expect. After talking for about 30 Mins I came to the conclusion that buying that motorcycle off craigslist wasn't in my best interest (I would have prolly spent $2,500 and might not have been fixed). So, I started to look around at their inventory and was pleasantly surprised at the variety they had. I ended up buying a 2015 Harley-Davidson Street 750 with 429 miles on it from Omega for a great deal!!! Don't go there if whatever you do requires manufactures specific tools. A relative easy fix turned into major expense after being presented with a stupid and false (confirmed by dealership) cause for issues. So, I not only paid for something that was most likely not needed, but twice for the actual problem - a silly seal. Nobody knows your bike better than you, but Tony & Co. will not take responsibility for their work - like worn out bolts due to overuse of power tools. Never say never, but it is very unlikely that I will take my shit to them again. read more

ASK FOR SHAWN! Literally the best customer service i've ever experienced buying anything anywhere. They have a great selection of bikes, super knowledgeable staff, and spent a lot of time with me finding a bike that fit my needs without pressuring me into buying anything I didn't want or need. After looking through the inventory on the floor, Shawn showed me a bike in the back that wasn't ready for sale yet that I was interested in. He then spent the entire day getting that bike rushed and ready to go for me, got me financed in less than an hour, and even the owner went out to get some new parts for the bike that very day to get it finished up and ready to go. Even after the sale, I still received the same level of attention and respect from this shop that I did before I bought, which unfortunately is often times not how it goes at other dealers. After I took the bike out for a ride, I found one little problem with it, and when I called up Shawn to let him know, he IMMEDIATELY got it into his mechanic to fix the issue no questions asked. If you're looking into getting your bike serviced at this shop make sure to take video recordings and pictures of your bikes condition as they will not admit fault any damages that was done while it was in their possession... Brought my bike in for repairs. Bike was pretty much brand new as it was sitting for the past 3 years. 2014 CBR1000. F/I fuse was popping. All their mechanics were guessing from bad stator, regulator/rectifier, pinched wire. This was on going for 2 weeks unable to diagnose the bike and why it was popping a fuse. During these 2 weeks no attempts were made to update me. I was the one calling asking for an update. They finally called back and said after weeks of pulling their hair out and even their senior technician working on the bike they found the issue. Bad fuel pump. Bike was in their possession for almost 3 weeks. I got the bike on a Monday and dropped it off to their shop Tuesday the next day. They've had the bike longer than I since I got it. Picked up the bike and went home. It was then I noticed external cosmetic damages to the bike. It's like these guys were frustrated unable to find the problem with the bike and they started ripping things apart... Gas tank fairing/cover was melted which seems to be from a soldering tool, missing bolts, torn gas tank gasket/seal (leaking gas), fuse cover missing, scratches around where the bolts are as if their techs were using a power drill trying to remove these bolts in the dark, very bad messy job sealing the stator cover back with gasket maker, replacing a fuse with a higher amperage, dangling hose... Seems like they ripped apart the bike trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Finally figured it out and literally through everything back together with no care and effort. I went back to the shop and spoke with tony the owner. Brought to his attention my concerns and showed him the pictures. All this guy had to say was we didn't do that. It was already like that. Must I remind you that this bike was pretty much brand new with only 4,000 miles. Even matthew was saying wow it's a nice clean bike. A lot of life left when I picked it up. I got the bike cause it was flawless right outta the showroom. I fully examined the bike before I got it and would've notice such things like the cosmetic damage especially around the gas tank. They also charged me for the regulator/rectifier. I asked tony you guys told me that you tested out 4 different ones and that wasn't the issue and that mine was working fine. So why am I being charged for it?? That was the only thing he refunded me only cause I i was able to prove that. I left the shop. I was already confident that the damages weren't there but shared the photos with the previous owner and he was irritated just as much as I was which validated further that those damages was done by them... I later called the shop and spoke with the owner. All he had to say was that was already there, I'm not dealing with you and hung up. Wow!! How is this place still in business?? Ever heard of customer service?? This came straight from a so called owner?? Own up to your mistakes and faults. He didn't even bother asking his techs hey did you guys accidentally damage this bike?? It was an automatic answer of it was already there... As a business owner myself this is not how you conduct business. I am seeking further actions. This place has to be inspected. They lost a loyal customer. If the repairs were in the thousands I told the owner I would've paid it. They earned my business from the merchandise I've purchased in the past and the oil changes they did on my other bike. Yes they are nice people only when you first walk through that door as they try to gain your business but guess what, your techs damaged my bike so now as a business owner handle this serious matter professionally. Replace and fix the damages and speak with your staff to make sure it doesn't happen with future customers. Instead he pretty much said F off, I got your $1,000 now stop stressing me out and get out my shop. SMH... If this is how this guy is going to treat his paying customers then guess what, be prepared to handle the legalities that comes with being a business owner. I tried to give this guy the benefit of the doubt to try and handle this matter without getting the system involved. Repair what your mechanics damaged. Own up to it. It's that simple... I really have no time for stuff like this. I've never written a review for anything before. Good or bad but I can't sweep this under the rug. JUST TAKE YOUR SERVICE ELSEWHERE. AND DEFINITELY DO NOT GET YOUR BIKE ANY SERVICE HERE. If i could give zero stars i definitely wouldn't hesitate to do so. Had my husband take my bike in earlier this month to do just an oil change, they recommended we do a full service since we were due for one so we said ok. They had our bike for about 3 days, finally picked up our bike and husband noticed the fan was unplugged and bike was running hot. We just took it for service so we didn't really think much of it since they said everything was "OK". I guess there definition of "OK" is trash. Mind we have another bike so we rarely ride this one, husband took it for a ride and it was still running hot, 2 weeks have gone by and we decided to get a second opinion from a different shop, turns out have the things that were supposed to be done were done INCORRECTLY. For example NO COOLANT IN THE RESERVOIR BOTTLE?! what kind of shit is that?! Talked to owner tony and honestly you could work better with customers. I never complain about anything but this was NOT a little mistake and for you to say "well there's nothing we can do for you" correction yea there is it's called refunding me for the service that was supposed to be done that was done WRONG. Im going to be honest this is the worst shop for repairs. I took my bike here knowing what was wrong but I decided I wanted them to check out my bike and see what they say first. They told me i needed new parts that were completely fine with my bike, they told me they were gonna take around +4 hours of labor which I wasn't happy with the final price (parts+labor) why? The job can be done in less than 2 hours, why buy parts that i know they were completely fine they were just trynna take money out of my pocket. So at the end i told them i was just gonna pay for the inspection (100) so i got my bike back and i didn't notice until a week later( I usually ride every weekend or when i can) that my bike was missing some bolts and the fairings were kinda lose. I didn't pay attention to the fairings when i got my bike back. Very disappointed, never coming back at the end found another shop that they were honest! read more

Sadly, they were not able to help with my specific problem -- a failed ABS on a BMW bike. But I'll definitely be going back. Tony and the gang there were friendly, professional and were straightforward about not being able to help me out this time. They could have easily pulled my bike apart before coming to that conclusion and charged me for a few hours of labor. That's the kind of ethical treatment that explains why they have so many great reviews. read more
