I've been coming here for a while due to their great prices despite the fact that they have completely ruined my eyebrows. Every time I get my eyebrows threaded I ask to keep them as thick as possible but they continually keep on thinning and thinning my eyebrows. I realized that the price was not worth having little to no eyebrows, therefore I am now growing them out but still continue to come here for threading my upper lip (because of the great prices.) This time I asked for a trim on my eyebrows; no threading just a trim and the lady took of a HUGE chunk of my eyebrows. Half of my left eyebrow is completely gone. Just came in , and the lady that did my eyebrows sucked! Not sure of her name but she is heavy set and her chair is the last one ... first off I had powder on my brows and brow gel .. I let her know and all she said was okay . Didn't even take it off so I knew from there it was not gonna be a good experience ... and then she literally did my brows for 3 mins... and I asked was she gonna put the aloe on and she mumbled something .. horrible customer service .. she def should not be working there ... Gave it a try, got it fucked up. It was already bad before but now I guess I'll wait another three months before I can get a decent shape again. They don't shape here, they just clean up. Used to come here with my aunt and cousin and that's how I first got introduced to the place. I really liked my first threading experience so I get kept coming back but with my mom. However, the service has been progressively getting worse. Bobby has been out for a while, and the only other person I trust is Anu. I got my eyebrows done two months ago by one of the newer ladies because Bobby or Anu weren't there and she thinned my eyebrows so much. I told her at the beginning I just wanted a clean, NO thinning or shaping, and she still thinned them out to the point where I have to wait 10+ weeks for my eyebrows to grow out again. I had to grow out my eyebrows in the past for the same amount when another lady also thinned my eyebrows last year, so I am not unfamiliar with this whole process. The reason I keep coming back is because I have went to this place for 3 years now and keeping giving them chances hoping for the best. But I don't think I will return anymore. read more

First time at this threading salon. Forgive me for butchering the name but I believe her name was Nuti? She actually did a great clean job on removing hairs without snagging an eyelash or two near the eyes [which some places do...its not cool]. The only reason I would not rate a 5 star review is the fact that she kept forgetting what i had asked her to do at the beginning specifically [I had asked her to do nose and side burns as well since it is included in the full face threading option] and kept wanting to rush through it because of new customers walking in. She was not rude but in all sincerety if I pay for a service it is only right to hear out and comply with a customer's wishes on how they would like their eyebrows, sideburns, etc. done without being brushed off quickly; battling out who gets the most customers done. I would have tip a larger amount if she did not kept wanting to write me off quickly asking if I wanted to lotion up my face every few seconds. Full face $20.00. If you are not offered that aloe lotion do not be afraid to ask for it nicely. It helps with the slight stinging feeling. And do make sure before you put on that lotion to look in the mirror and make sure you are happy with the results. If you are not satisfy let them know - voice it out. read more

This threading salon is great! I've been kind of looking for a threading salon that's cheaper and closer to where I live. I usually go to this eyebrow place a city away thats $12 eyebrows + $2 tip = $14. This place was recommended to me by my cousin who told me threading eyebrows is only $7 and that they do a good job! I was a little hesitant at first because no woman wants their eyebrows to get messed up or uneven. Plus I used to go to this threading salon close to my school when I was living away from home for college, which was the same price but they did not put time and effort to really work on your eyebrows. It was cheap but they did not do a good job which is why I was hesitant of this place because of its low prices. I walked in and there was no one in the salon so I was seated right away, Babi was the one who had threaded my eyebrows and I think she did a GREAT job. I told her I just wanted my brows cleaned up and to make sure to leave the shape it already is in. For some reason I was very nervous while she was threading. But she takes her time and does not rush through it. When I saw eyebrows after they looked great! My eyebrow shape was still here and they looked so well cleaned up. This place is the best eyebrow place I've been to. Other local threading places just don't do as good and as quick as a job as they do. Everyone here makes eyebrows look perfect and never disappoint. Although I do have thick/dark eyebrows that grow back fast and that are hard to mess up, other places have managed to mess them up. Nora's however, has never messed them up. I'd like to start off by saying that I usually don't write reviews, let alone bad reviews. I came in on Friday afternoon just before Christmas and was expecting to see really long lines but there was no wait so I thought I'd try it instead of my usual place which is always very busy. Fist off the floors were not very clean. Okay no big deal. The girl (I did not get her name) sat me in her chair and got started. I was sitting in the chair for literally only two minutes when she said she was done. I thought "wow that was really fast" especially considering I haven't gotten my brows done in over a month so they were really overgrown. As soon as I looked at my brows I realized they were not symmetrical. The left looked okay. Still really full since she did not trim it but cleaned up. The right was a straight bushy mess. There is no shape at all. It just goes straight across and again since she didn't trim them it's still very bushy. When I pointed it out to her she said "no it's the same " so i paid and left. I'm super disappointed to say the least. I'm hoping that I can fix it before the holiday parties start. read more
