I happen to see the sign as I was driving by and of course I had to stop for empanada! It's in a business Center. It isn't very obvious where it is. They are either moving or expanding into Temecula. I just love a place that has pictures of Messi and the Argentinian flag everywhere! It must be authentic. Problem is the staff didn't know if the coffee is from there. We got the 6 pack, mix and match, and the spicy and regular chimichurri sauces. Our favorite was the chicken and spicy cheese, after that it was the ham and cheese and pepperoni- we didn't particularly care for the beef, but that is probably personal preference, and the chicken was a clear front runner for us. The place is small but ideal for takeout, DoorDash, etc. For eating in they have a few small tables to eat at and the place is very clean. Before I start out with my review my family is from New Mexico and was brought up making Empanadas for the holidays. I had no idea that everyone makes their dough differently. I now that everyone fills them with their own family recipes but I assumed the dough would be the same. That being said I was really not a fan of them. Stopped by to check it out and got the 3 empanadas for $13.25, 1 beef, 1 cheese & jalapeno, and 1 chicken (which I had asked if it was white or dark meat and the guy said it was white meat). Beef empanada: Nice and beefy w a hint of olive taste. Chicken empanada: This was just ok. I don't think this was white meat though bc it had that chicken thigh "taste" I don't care for, but if you don't care what part of chicken it is, you might appreciate this. Cheese & jalapeno: I liked this one the best out of the three that I got. The cheese blend was delicious with a tiny hint of heat (wish it was a lot hotter). I nearly drove by this place since it's located in a business center. This place has been on my bookmarks for a while but they're closed on Sundays and I usually try to go on that day. I did get 1 dozen of empanada ($51) for my family and I to try during our vacation. I chose 6 chicken and 6 beef, and with buying a dozen they give 2 free empanadas so I chose a pepperoni and a bbq pork each to try. It came with four containers of regular and spicy chimichurri salsa to eat them with. There was no wait and they packaged my order quickly. The pepperoni, bbq pork, and the chicken were my favorites. Visually the empanadas were very appetizing, but feel tragically short on construction and taste due to the thin crust and the fillings that appeared to be processed meats. First time visit to check this place out. I had seen this place mentioned on a travel tiktok video as a "Must Try" when in the area. We were on a weekend trip to the Temecula Wine Country and this was a perfect place to stop for snacks! Nora's is located right off Winchester Road, just north of Murrieta Hot Springs Road. The main item they sell is of course the empanada's, but they also have a variety of coffee (Hot and cold). Most of the empanada's are hot and ready. The display case in at the counter is small. So if you see something out, just ask. They have more in the back. And if they are out, it's only a few minutes wait for a fresh one. The empanada's are fantastic. But you have to eat them fresh. They are sold individually and in packs of 3, 6 or 12. When I was there, if you bought a 6 pack, you got one free. This is a great deal and you can mix and match to try all the different flavors. If you have a favorite, you can also buy packs of frozen empanada's that you can take and bake at home. Overall, this was a great stop and we enjoyed all of the different empanada's we tried. Ordered the 6 pack combo (2 beef, 2 chicken, and 2 ham and cheese) to try some variety. The empanadas came out hot and freshly made and they have me try both of their regular and spicy chimichurri. Stopped by Nora's for a quick lunch. This was my first visit so I was excited to try out their offerings. The restaurant is clean, well lit and has a few tables for eating in. I ordered the spinach feta empanada, lentil empanada and guava and cream cheese. The empanadas were perfectly baked and were as delicious to my eyes as they were to taste. The crust was light and crunchy in the right places...yum. The fillings were just right and I loved that I could taste the flavors of all the main ingredients. Lots of spinach with a nice balance of feta cheese and the lentil was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The guava and cheese is a nice dessert but I could only it about a quarter of it as I was full.
