Meh. Pretty decent building internally, but didn't have the food to match. Wasn't aware it was buffet style neither, was under assumption that it may be something else. Everything was really bland. When the Horchata , Jamaica, and Tamarind drink all taste like they have no sugar, I knew the food that followed would be worrisome. I think either it could have been the manager, or owner who initially greeted us upon check-in, she was very nice. But being overly kind is not going to make up for the rest. Sorry but facts.

Located in a strip mall, this place is huge inside and very well decorated . It is very clean inside the chef even showed us how clean his kitchen is, everything is made from scratch in house all being heated on le crueset pots. He let us sample a couple of the meats , I tried birria and chili verde. Both meats were tender and tasty. The staff was very nice and friendly. Definitely check out the salsa bar to add a little kick to the tacos. Also Mon-thurs the magic box is a good deal

I was hesitant to visit here based on the reviews but I'm glad that I stopped by and had lunch. Upon entering the door there's a large, open concept dining area with a private room for large parties. I was extremely impressed with the food choices and the authenticity of the dishes. Some of the dishes could use a little bit more salt but those that were saying the food is bland can just add a little salt to their orders. I found the food very flavorful. The menu is pretty self-explanatory. You will basically get tacos or burritos. You can pick your meat and any additions you want to add into your items at no extra charge. All the employees were helpful and they make their own tortillas which you can view through a window. I was very happy with my food and found it to be very tasty. I got a birria burrito an my friend got a 2 taco combo with rice and beans on the side. She had birria and chile verde. I like the fact that I can get black beans! The salsa bar was nice and clean and the salsas were quite tasty. You can get sodas in cans and bottles. There are no fountain drinks so be prepared to order cans or bottles. They do have cups with an ice and water machine. All the food is kept warm in Le Creuset Dutch ovens. They have cabeza, birria, steak, chicken, carnitas, Chile Verde and a host of sides and inclusions. I love this restaurant and will be going back again and again to try everything.

Nice game night at Del Norte! The tacos were great and the service was amazing! I liked the variety and walk up style ordering. My favorite was the the hand dryers and decor in the bathroom!

I really wanted to love this place, but it was average and expensive. The menu was a bit confusing. The service is friendly. It's a nice and new restaurant, but the food was not authentic. The carne asada fries were bland. Ambiance is clean and trendy, but the food is lacking flavor.

Pretty cool new spot. Great lunch deals. Yummy guac and plenty of salsa options. I wasn't in love with their pastor, but the carne was delicious. I'm interested in trying their premium steak next time since even the regular was tender and flavorful. The fresh tortillas were delicious. The team was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating and they have a patio available for large groups/events. With the location near wine country, it's an easy spot to eat before or after a winery too.

Saw this place on IG and thought we should give it a try..... They don't use any seed oils & make their tortillas by hand. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered had great flavor. Staff was very helpful. Nice little spot for a taco fix.

Everything is on point. The food is so full of flavor. Hand made fresh tortillas. Salsa is and there is definitely something for everyone. They have a private area for special occasions. I highly recommend the lunch special magic box lunch.

How on Earth... did anyone give this more than a one star? One star is for good portions... but the price matches it. Service was scattered. They asked us several times what we wanted in the loaded fries we ordered. Waited 20 minutes for a bean cup, but had tacos out first and they were cold by the time my family got their food. We ate chips and salsa ( chips were not free) because we were hungry... Oh and- borrow is NOT authentic. Their "birria" is boiled shredded beef with ZERO flavor, and my sons fries had CHUNKS of the birria ( see photo) NOT a repeat place. Full stop disappointment

Great location, beautiful inside, friendly employees, great potential. Food was good, pricing for two was about $40. We ordered 'the box' two tacos, beans and rice, came with your choice of horchata. Salsa bar is good, pick, salsas, hot carrots and pickled cucumbers. Tortillas are made fresh. This is a simple first time review, will need to try again, to get a better feel of the food options.

Great Food, great vibes, authentic Mexican food that is way more authentic then Chipotle ever could be. They offer a variety of different proteins and choices. Their meats and veggies are fresh and off the grill. It's a big restaurant that just opened and the owners were extremely nice and helpful. The staff was nice, it has that hidden gem kind of vibe and I will be visiting whenever I pass aroudn here.

Is it the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had? Probably not. But the food is solid, reliable, and always enjoyable, which is exactly why I keep coming back. Now, if you're a fan of drinks, music, and a festive atmosphere, this place definitely brings the party. It has that lively, colorful Mexican restaurant vibe, and I personally love that they have live music on certain days. My little one and I especially enjoy sitting outside in their enclosed patio area. It's such a nice little setup! Depending on the day and time, it can get pretty packed, but I've honestly never had a bad experience here. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is something you can count on. So no, I'm not going to crown Guadalajara the king of all Mexican food--but sometimes you don't need culinary fireworks. Sometimes you just want good food, a fun atmosphere, some music, and a place that consistently delivers. And Guadalajara does exactly that.

I got the tamale plate which comes with generous sides of rice and beans...I would have preferred more tamale for my tamale plate. The rice was dry and gritty but paired decent with the very mushy beans. The tamale was a bit bland as well. I did enjoy the chips and freshly made salsa though that comes free with the entree. There are no single menu items like you can't order just one taco or one tamale by itself without getting a whole platter of other things. The server was friendly and didn't rush us even past 10pm.

With that being said, parking can be difficult because Old Town tends to get very busy on a Saturday. We walked in and it was not busy. The host/server told us to pick any table we would like. We chose outside, but they had just cleaned up the area, so our chairs were stacked. The host/server quickly helped us get the chairs down and place them at our table. The server was attentive and kept checking in on us. Now the food. When we were sat down, we were given complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were perfect and not overly salty or greasy. The salsa was very mild and had a great flavor. I ordered a 2 taco combo plate ($14.95) with carne asada and carnitas. The carne asada was just okay, it was cut into thicker piece, which is not my preference. It was also topped with guacamole, which was not the best I've had. The carnitas however were magnificent topped with pickled onions, cilantro, and salsa. The rice was not traditional Mexican rice and did have a bit of a crunch to it rather than a toast before cooking. The beans were just plain pinto beans, not refried beans, but they were good. While this place, is not extremely traditional, it is a great spot in Old Town Temecula with fairly good food. I'm looking forward to coming back again.

The dressing was amazing. The chilaquiles were also good. I was a little nervous at first since they weren't busy when we walked in compared to the other restaurants on the street, but it ended up being a great surprise how good everything was!
