This is such a phenomenal little Taco shop tucked away in the Home Depot and Cardenas Market Market shopping center. Everything I've had here is great, but what brings me back repeatedly is the fish tacos.. you can get them breaded or grilled and they are both fantastic. I'm not a big fan of Pico de gallo and I really love that they are more than willing to take the Pico off and still add onions and cilantro in its place. I haven't been here in a couple years, so kind of bummed seeing they took their hot sauce and carrots bar down.. they just have little packets you can take, but it's not the same. Not a ton of seating inside... Maybe 20 spots. But also there is some outside seating as well. Tv's always on with a soccer or something like Vicente. Just a really chill local environment here with great service. 10/10 recommend. read more

I read some reviews about their unfriendly service but that wasn't the case during my visit. What do you expect from an establishment where you pay at counter, pick up at window, grab your own utensils and hot sauce, and clean up your own table? The service was cool and as expected for me I didn't experience any unfriendliness. We ordered 3 combos which came out to $51 which is pretty pricey to me. We got fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and quesa birria. The shrimp and fish tacos were okay. Not the best or worst but they did coat the fish and shrimp with too much batter so it was a bit thick. We got them baja style which included all the slaw. My son's quesa birria tacos came with consome he said was a bit bland but I told him that was better than being salty. The rice and beans had no flavor either. I liked how salsa was out though so you're able to use how much you want. Also it was nice that it was served in containers already so if you didn't finish you can just ask for a lid. read more

I read the fish tacos were amazing and I have to agree! I would definitely come back for them. We also got the Diablo fries with shrimp. I was surprised by how many shrimp can with the plate. The inside was clean and good amount of seating. Music wasn't too loud so it was easy to talk. The service was pretty normal for a counter order shop. I ordered from here for the first time today. I've avoided it because I have read reviews about how unfriendly they are. I didn't go in this time but ordered online for delivery. The food was really good! However, I don't think I received the value that I paid for. I know that the prices are higher on DoorDash, so I looked at the actual website for this restaurant. Most things have a price that I consider okay, but I have to mention that $6.50 for a side of rice or a side of beans is excessive. The small order for $2.50 are tiny. These are the website prices - they are even more on DD. The salsa was pricey too online, but the in-store price is okay. I had also seen pictures of a salsa bar, but I read that it has been taken out. I'm left with mixed feelings since the food was good but I won't pay $6.50 for a side when I can get the same thing almost every place else but here. read more

This is my go to spot when I am craving potato tacos. Two tacos and chili for $6.50. Can't beat it. Sometimes I'll add a Baja style fried fish taco or the $6.50 mini nachos with Al Pastor. The line was moving fast and food was quick. The wife got a combo, two tacos, rice and beans with a drink for like $14.00. I take a star off, because while I'll appreciate the plastic plate ware, the combo the beans and rice are in the small portion cups. The portion is fine, it's the cups the ruin it for me. Was headed to McDonald's but decided to try out this taco seafood place. I ordered 3 fish tacos and a carne asada burrito. I wish I had gone to McDonald's instead... I unfortunately had a really disappointing experience with the manager. The restaurant itself seemed fine, the cashiers were attentive and kind and the food was tasty but not noteworthy. However the way the manager spoke to both customers and staff was very unprofessional. During my visit the manager came across as irritated and dismissive when a simple question was asked. It also seemed like employees were being spoken to in a very tense way right in front of customers, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. After rushing around the restaurant doing nothing but yapping, she hopped in her little red coup and left. A good restaurant experience depends a lot on how the place is run, and management sets the tone. Hopefully the ownership takes a look at how the "manager" here, handles customer interactions and their staff , because it definitely left a negative impression. Did not have a pleasant experience with management. Called to resolve an issue with a misplaced order (I selected the correct location online but the company website sent it to the wrong place) and was forced to argue over the phone for 10 minutes with "Aurora" over a $20 order. Her reasoning was because I called 2 minutes late, the food was already prepared and she can no longer refund me, which is a very strange justification. It's a fast food restaurant with some locations having drive thrus. Of course the food will be ready by the time I call, it gets immediately sent to BOH once the transaction completes. She finally offered a partial refund but for some weird reason said she was busy right now, didn't have time to refund me, couldn't find my transaction in the system and that I'll have to call back later in 7 hours at 8 PM(???) when she's available. I asked for her name so I could follow up with her directly and she kept dodging the question until I pressed her. I've worked fast food before, refunding is a very simple process. I understand if it was an expensive order but this would be minimal impact to a business this large. I think she was banking on me not following up later and wanted to get me off the phone. I'm a regular customer at other locations and have always enjoyed the staff service. This was extremely disappointing. read more

This place...this place is nuts. My favorite taco place in a 100 mile radius. Absolutely brilliant street tacos Al Pastor at a great price. It kills me that I only found this place recently. I now go at least once a week to get that fix. The salsa is also insanely good, both the green and red salsas are worth a try. Intense smokey / roasted flavors, they are really great, though I only add them to the birria and carnitas tacos. The Al Pastor do not need it. It's not really a sit-down place. Service is quite quick, since it is a fast food place. Order to go and head to the nearest park, mountain, or lake. Crack open an ice cold Jarritos and go to town. First time we tried this place, we loved the fish and shrimp tacos and seafood soup. My husband doesn't like soup but somehow their seafood soup is really tasty, it doesn't have that fishy smell. This place was amazing. This was the first time we've eaten at this location. Everything hit the spot for our lunch. My little family of 4 ate a lot, but it was all delicious! We ordered 2 fish tacos, 2 shrimp tacos, 2 potato tacos, 3 street tacos, a side of rice, a chicken quesadilla, 2 torre tostadas and 2 large horchatas. Phew! It came with some sealed salsa containers and a side of sour cream for the quesadilla. It looked like too much, but we took it down. We ended up taking the second tostada home to enjoy later. It was a chill spot that wasn't too large, but there were a good amount of tables available. Right after we ordered and sat down a lot of people stopped in so we arrived right before the rush. This time they forgot the rice and beans, which was my kid's dinner, so now we have to cook something for her. QUESADILLA ASADA (10 out of 10) The tortilla was a perfect, lightly toasted golden brown on both sides, adding pleasant texture and taste. Monterey Jack or cheese blend played up toasted tortilla and mild steak flavors. The finale: unexpected and mysterious dark, spicy, brown sauce/oil that gave this dish a tidal wave of flavor SHRIMP TACO (10 out of 10) Original meant lightly fried, succulent shrimp atop freshly shredded greens served with a light white sauce. I was excited to come in today I used to live in a city with one of these just down the street and was in the area so decided to come to this location it's allot smaller then the other one but that's ok. I ordered a fish taco a shrimp taco and two street tacos with rice and beans. Order was quick so that would be a plus but the tacos came they screwed up the order I got two shrimp no fish and the shrimp was so over cooked it was like crispy rocks instead of shrimp the street tacos were good but as the shrimp were so extremely bad and hard to eat I can't give them anything but a 1 star read more
