I got their beef and chicken empanadas ($4.99 each) to try along with their chipa (Argentinean cheese balls- $1.75), plus a sparkling blackberry lemonade ($6.99). They have a variety of flavors of empanada, both sweet and savory. The beef was filled with seasoned ground beef, green olives, sauteed onions, and spices. I liked it better than the chicken which was dry to me. Their chimichurri was good, a bit more vinegary than other Argentinean restaurants. It was just okay , the empanada was too salty, I don't recommend this place if you're looking for something authentic, we tried the ham and cheese empanada and cheese balls , the cheese balls were okay and had a mochi like consistency, I think it's the cheese in both that throws it off, tasted like really cheap cheese and salty, the cheese empanada tasted unbearable salty, it tasted like a really bad hot pocket, service was fast and he answered any questions I had, very nice service, very clean inside, nothing notable. read more

We were definitely excited to have a shiny new restaurant here at the Vail! We came a little later tonight so we were thankful they could make some fresh ones for us and they seemed to be sold out upon arrival. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we appreciated their transparency that it was going to take a while so we were able to walk around. The store itself is cute, new, clean and refreshed which is definitely a nice change of pace. Our winner was definitely the spicy cheese and mushroom and cheese. The beef and chicken were good and then the ham & cheese last. I think if it were the morning the ham and cheese would go hard. Was walking by Temecula Clay in Vail Ranch and the empty store next door now has Nora's Empanada factory so I had to stop in and give it a try. It is classy chill inside with small but comfy and nice seating inside and plenty of seating all over Vail Ranch. We purchased cheese balls (yum) and the spicy cheese empanada and the chicken empanada. These Empanadas were great. Not dry at all like many I have had. The chicken was super moist and flavorful. The spicy cheese was also good. The server was welcoming and friendly. For super great empanadas this is where you want to go. We will definitely be regulars here. read more
