Alfred and his guys are excellent at what they do. I had a project bike that needed to be tuned badly. What's nice is that their shop will come pick up the bike and drop it off once it's done at a pretty reasonable price. The tune that they did was pretty incredible. They were able to fix the rich fuel map the bike came with (power commander 3) and bring the bike from 87hp to 101hp! The nice part is they only needed the bike for 2 days (which is a pretty fast turn around time considering how many bikes they tune). All in all, they're a great group of local guys that are easy to work with and reasonably priced. Next bike going to their shop is going to be the Harley vrod haha. Great job guys! read more

Emailed to schedule an appointment for a my first set of new tires + an oil change. Alfie was very quick to respond and helped me throughout the entire process. What I loved about the place is that the guys working there all ride. When work was done they were chilling together with their motorcycles in the back alley. When is the last time you saw a motorcycle dealer ride home on a motorcycle? They all waited for Freddie to finish my paperwork past closing time. Then they helped me load the bike on the truck, strap the bike, and on my way. The bike I bought from them is an old 2005 R1 that is nevertheless immaculate. It came with uber sticky tires for the twisties that were brand new and the bike even had a full tank of gas. For female, beginner riders: Norcal is where you wanna shop! I Facebook-messaged Norcal Cycles about looking at some beginner bikes and got an immediate, helpful response. It's pretty intimidating shopping for your first bike, but Freddie was super helpful and encouraging. Because Norcal was the first place I shopped at, it felt silly to not go to anywhere else before making a decision, but no where else had the customer service Norcal (and especially Freddie) provided. Came back to Norcal that same day and put down a deposit for a Rebel 500. Came back a couple days later to pay in cash for a better deal. So this review may get a bit lengthy but I do want to give an honest an accurate account of my experience here. A little more than a month ago I brought my bike here to get it dyno tested. It cost $90 because the additional option of viewing air/fuel ratio was an extra $30 bucks which I think is ridiculous but that's neither here nor there. It was a disaster the bike ran like crap on the Dyno and gave a really low figure which surprised me. Alfred, the service manager said it's because the bike needed to be tuned, mind you, on the street the bike ran fine. He stated that the power commander downloaded tune the bike was equipped with wasn't good enough then gave me 2 options on what to do about it. I chose the more expensive of the 2 options to maximize the performance of the bike and ultimately reap the largest again in power. After having the bike for a week I got it back power went from 78whp to 115whp which is a large improvement that I was satisfied with. I have since put over 50 miles on this new set up and unfortunately I don't really feel a 37hp increase the way I thought I would/should. I spent a lot of money and I'm not sure it was worth it. Don't get me wrong, work was done I feel and hear some differences just not $1K worth of improvement. I can't help but wonder was my initial Dyno run dumbed down to make it seem like it was worse than it was or if mistakes were made or what but being that it was so bad they knew I'd spend money to correct it. I'm not sure, and am not making accusations but $1000 for a 37hp gain to not feel a dramatic difference before and after is, honestly, a bit disappointing... read more

I visited NorCal yesterday and I was truly impressed by Freddie and the other staff I encountered. I inquired about a used bike, for sale on consignment, and Freddie was honest with me about one concern he had mechanically that might prohibit me from test riding it. He had no control over pricing, or the owner's willingness to fix the issue, but he got on the phone and advocated for the issue to be fixed (less than $50 to fix it). The bike's owner was not receptive, but I was truly impressed by Freddie's honesty and decency. I ultimately chose not to purchase the bike because I didn't get good vibes from the original owner's communication but I got GREAT vibes from Freddie and that shop, and I will happily return in the future to purchase bikes, equipment or to get service done. If this review is lengthy I apologize. But I want to be as thorough as possible with my experience. I have been in the market to start riding again. I fell in love with the Ninja EX300 from my research and have been looking for months for it. As soon as I saw this available here, I immediately inquired about it and Freddie replied back almost immediately. We discussed back and forth on info about the bike and decided a date/time to come in and take a look. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted and met up with Freddie. No pressure to buy even as I started to ask about purchasing it. He even said, "Well do you love the bike? I want you to love the bike before we even talk about buying it." The process of discussing the sale was as smooth and pleasant as anyone could ask for. We went through MANY options about ways to purchase the bike and he was very clear about each detail.
