The 1st time I thought all went well, until when he had the car delivered, on the receipt was stamped 6 mos warranty! Well, after I authorized him to repair the transmission....he said that he would give me a 1 year warranty. When I asked him about the 6 mos warranty stamp, he said "no worries they made a mistake....I will honor 1 year." I paid him $3,200 for the job. WHO in their right mind would agree to only a 6 mos warranty after paying that much?! So, the car ran well for about 7 months, then transmission went out. I called him, and had the car towed back over there. He said that " you know it's out of warranty, but I will see what I can do". So now he forgets about what he initially told me! So, he kept my car for another 6 mos......dodging all of my calls, and making up B.S. excuses about why my car wasn't ready! I was told the price jump was due to the war and increased oil costs. Wanting to verify that, I called three local auto parts stores afterward, and all confirmed that oil prices had gone up only about $1 per quart. For a 6-quart oil change, that's nowhere near the extra $40 I was charged. To be fair, the service itself was still quick and efficient as usual. But using current world events as justification for what feels like excessive up charging doesn't sit right with me. Loyal customers deserve honesty and fair pricing.

I took it in to see if they could check it out. I was lucky to have spoken to Anthony. He was very kind but direct and showed me what the possible problem could be based on the age of the car, sound and fumes. But he made it clear he would need to use the lift to confirm. He was apologetic he couldn't take care of it right away due to their current workload so I took it in the next week, and in the same day it was ready for pick up. He was right, it was the part he thought but instead of a crack it was fully broken in half! Luckily, he is a welder and I didn't need to buy a new piece.
