They never tell you the cost upfront. They weren't helpful either when I was struggling to breathe with the CPAP. Come to find out I have a deviated septum. I kept telling them my nose plugged. I have dealt with Norco on a couple of needs. My doctor sent a prescription to them by fax. They claim they never received it and I was told it takes some time for the fax to get to them. I have been in the telecommunication field for 40 years and I know fax is point to point and needs no delay. I will need to buy equipment my insurance should pay for. I have a question about company policies regarding sensors. Do I call and reorder when I know a holiday is coming up as instead of mailing out my G7 sensors early, knowing I was on my last sensor, I had to go almost 2 days without one and it was scary for everyone. I'm not happy at all about the 2 customer reps I spoke to who basically dismissed my concern. 2nd one said when I asked when it would be here said, " It's up to USPS as when you'll get it. "... So yes, I was contacted by a billing representative Thursday, funny enough 1 day after I posted my Yelp review. She confirmed the case had been assigned to her just the night before. My last call to Norco (when I insisted they resubmit the claim) occurred in August, nearly three months ago. I will give Norco credit for finally having a billing representative reach out to try to resolve. However, it should not take a bad Yelp review to make that happen. I called this morning to get a prescription filled, and they said they were backed up about 65 faxes. I found out through my surgeon that the prescription was already sent. I called and spoke with Fred a couple times this morning, and he was very helpful and definitely deserves a raise or bonus of some sort as I was on the verge of tears. Thank you so much for your help today. I will definitely recommend this company and most definitely this location in the future for anyone I know needing medical supplies. I went in to Nampa Norco this morning. I had an appointment to get instructions for using my BPAP machine. An associate met me at the door and directed me to my room for my lesson. I had another associate show me all I needed to run my machine. He was friendly , well spoken and answered questions before I could formulate them!! I am now called by a robot (AI) to replenish my order that they get paid for by Medicare. If I am not thought of any more than a call to get money and not talk with is a place, I will not do business with. What has happened to customer service as it is not found here or many other places. In the past trying to navigate through the robot became difficult for me as robots don't hear anything other than what they want to hear. Its a shame and a sham that a company professes employee owned should know better. I am so disappointed in NORCO that my disposition is now NO NORCO! Very unprofessional and not realizing the lack of customer care will lead then down the wrong road of caring. I know it must not matter to NO NORCO but it does to me. Norco here in Idaho Nampa is one of the most inconsiderate Medical supply places I have ever dealt with. Their customer service and their communications is on the lines of Walgreens and walmart. She took the time to explain what happen and offered advice on how to prevent it from happening again. She made some equipment recommendations to help my Dad be more comfortable at home. I find it very interesting when purchasing from NORCO! They are great when you purchase but if you have any repairs or warranty work you can not get ahold of anyone! Ordered headgear for sleep apnea, they said insurance covered it and they would mail it out same day. 5 business days later still no headgear. Call Norco and they admitted they failed to get documentation from Dr. that insurance company requires. I ask if they fixed their error. They said no, and waiting to hear from doctor. I asked them if they planned to follow up or should I. The agent responded to me saying she won't "Hammer" my Dr. for me. I was taken back at her choice of words and told her and she transferred me to a manager. Sarah B. apologized for the agents wording and she would make sure my supplies were ready at counter in Nampa within 40 minutes and either her or a local nampa counter agent would call me to confirm and no one called me. I called and left a message today for Sarah B. and still no call back. I got Fred from customer service and told him my husband is headed over to pick up headgear and wanted to make sure my order was there. He said no and that Sarah B. placed my order to be mailed but he'll fix it for pick up within 10 minutes and it was all ready through insurance. Upon arriving at Nampa location my husband waited 10 minutes for them to find the order in the back they proceeded to take 10 minutes saying they think he owes money but not sure and they see I called. He said it was very clear they documented my account and were antagonizing the situation and saying there were lots of notes on my account. I came here they said my bill was paid off and gave me the papers saying I didn't have to pay $100 which I thought was odd. So I left from there, to got billed the next month asking for the $100. When I didn't have any money since I was paying off all my other medical bills. I sent them the paper that even showed I owed $0. They kept saying I still owe money, so then I asked how much. Then they said they are charging me $100. I asked "why if I put down money already." They then said I owed $65 a different amount then the first time. Then I got the bill statements for $100, then $80, $107, now $88. I have talked to everyone I know, who has came to this area about this situation and they said they have had similar experiences with this company. I had talked to the people at this company they are really rude. Their excuse all the time is that they are new. Which I'd understand, but not everyone there is new. Also having people from the billing department hang up on me which was the manager. I even returned the item I was suppose to have for 30 days way before the 30 day mark. Thought well of this business since I bought my CPAP through them last year in February. However, I was going over my bill and wondering when my CPAP was paid off. Called Keira? in billing twice and could not get a direct answer. I finally called Select Health and they told me my CPAP was paid off in October of last year! Norco has been billing me my patient portion since then and issuing a monthly charge for a CPAP that was PAID OFF. Keira has been no help at all and just told me the last phone call that she would pass the issue onto their "insurance team". I am so disappointed in this place and I will not be purchasing any further supplies from them. read more
