This was not my first time here, but this is my first time writing a review. Why, one may ask? Well, I was so neutral the first time I went, that I didn't think I could give an accurate review. Well, this time was different. I ordered the Honey Almond Latte, hot. It was okay, but the honey, got lost in the almond, and the coffee was a bit too subtle in aroma and taste to be recognized as present. I could tell it was there, but it just didn't make itself evident. It was quite creamy though and I did enjoy that aspect of it. So, together it was not a failure. It's a really small, walk up cafe inside the mall. You can sit right outside and enjoy your coffee, or continue your journey through the mall. The Barista was helpful and pleasant. Every time I visit there's a line, so I would say they're doing something right. It's worth a visit. (3.5 stars) read more

It's only a small little walk in coffee shop at the front of a nordstrom, but the ambiance feels so cozy and warm in there. Smells nice too lol. Didn't get food, but the Mango citrus smoothie was delicious and is my go to every time. Service is quite fast too! read more

Probably my least favorite Nordstrom Ebar, the workers are very dull most of the time. Sometimes the baristas make mistakes on the milk alternatives that I requested at extra charge. So I always keep an eye on them when they make my coffee drinks. It gets 4 stars because the drinks are usually tasty and portion sizes are good. I appreciate that they carry some gluten free snacks all the time! And I always need a caffeine boost whenever I shop at Nordstrom! read more

We went last Sunday and ordered a breve latte. The girl taking my order didn't even know how breve is made saying that I had to pay extra for the espresso ( I didn't request extra shots) Breve drink already comes with espresso! It's an espresso latte how does she not know that? To top it off the barista did a terrible job making the drink. There were even coffee grinds in the drink. Rude. Poor customer service. Come on, do a better a job. My husband had to go back to correct it. Unusual experience for the Ebar for us. We stopped by the cafe in Nordstrom to order the tomato basil soup .Ive never tried it ,my girl has ate here several times and always had the soup with sandwiches. We ordered a quart to go. This came with crostini's.The soup was good with the basil was very flavorful. Premium price for all their drinks, but that is to be expected. The two employees working during my visit were both top-notch customer service driven. I am a basic dude and have a thing for hot chocolate, but I like it warm at best - not blazing hot. The young lady changed my world when she offered it as "kid temperature." So I called them ahead of time asking to do an order for pickup and once I got to the cafe they told me I had to wait in the long line still to pay. The whole reason for calling ahead is so I don't have to wait in line so it would have been very convenient if she told me that over the phone so I would have allowed enough time to do so.. usually at Nordstrom cafe for food pickups they allow me to call ahead and skip the line to pay since they have better costumer service. The girl that helped me acted entitled, by the way she was talking to me and the way she looked at me. So disappointed. read more

This past Sunday I rushed over to this e bar because I happened to be in the area and I love their coffee. Since it was Sunday they were closing at 7pm but luckily I walked in right at 6:53, so I had thought. There were two employees just standing there talking and when I got to the counter and greeted them nicely one of them responds by saying "we're only serving tea". They had obviously already cleaned up to close which I understand wanting to go home after a long day of work but at the end of the day closing duties are for closing hours. If you go to anywhere else 7 minutes before closing whether it's a store or a fast food restaurant you will still be let in and served. So unprofessional and disappointing. read more

Their sunset burst is the best: orange juice, raspberry purée, and peach ginger tea. Super refreshing and different than other places. We also like their Strawberry vanilla smoothie: it tastes more like strawberry white chocolate shake. Can't wait to try their coffees next time. Service is always nice and friendly here. read more

I just love the Nordstrom Ebar. It's always there when I need a little pick-me-up and it's always a consistent experience. I get a decaf GIANT americano with sugar free vanilla. The espresso never tastes burnt as I find with some coffee chains and it always tastes the same (GREAT). The service is always speedy and I don't have too much time to stare at See's Candy which is right next door. They also have some interesting snacks that I like on occasion. I had a bag of coconut macaroon-like things from here that were on the healthy side (they weren't bad). I'm here pretty much every time we shop at Nordstrom so with the holidays just around the corner, I'm sure I'll be back soon:) read more

The baristas here are friendly and efficient. Good place for a quick pick me up while shipping and running errands. Love that their straw wrappers are eco friendly! I'm unable to review the actual items here since were never served. But I won't be tryin this particular one out for the foreseeable future. In case anyone is keeping an eye on these reviews from the establishment, this review is specifically for our visit on 01/21 at about 1:45pm. We decided to stop at the Ebar for coffee while we were at shopping at Nordstrom since the Starbucks here is always a crapshoot with long lines and waits. One lady was waiting for her coffee and the two young ladies working at the time were chatting while one was cleaning a smoothie container and the other doing something else. One glanced at us and continued her conversation. We didn't even get greeted or were told we would be attended to shortly. My wife whispered to me, we're gonna give them 30 seconds...sure enough not once during those thirty seconds did they stop to attend to us; in fact their conversation even Included a topic about people blabbing on and on. Once the thirty seconds were up, we walked out of the ebar and made an order at Starbucks. Poor customer service at its finest. read more

If your looking for a smoothie, iced drink, hot drink or small baked good this is an okay option. They had 3 ppl working on a Saturday. We were waiting for our phone to be repaired at Apple so we stopped in to get 2 drinks. $11.00 later we have 1 large Pomegranate Iced Tea and 1 large Blood Orange Spritzer. Both drinks were both just ok. The Pomegranate tea tasted like vitamin water and the Blood Orange spritzer tasted ok. The counters needed to be tended to and the trash was overfilled. There's no seating inside it's a order and take away spot. The cashier was friendly as well as the person who made the drinks. read more

I think the quality of the service is great though they looked a little tired but maybe it is the end of the day but I think they were able to answer my questions about which coffee is good I realize there's some new ones on the menu but everything else is the same and yeah very good the peanut butter drink was way better than the juice it up version so I still like the zone juice it up I'll still say that yeah just way better and I hope people will come here more often if they can some people prefer not this place but it is one of the best coffee places I know way better than Starbucks read more

Nordstrom CAFE has very strong coffee but it's too bold for me. The regular brewed coffee at this place is not the best either but also not as bold and dark. Mom likes getting their coffee. Always piping hot. Avoid getting the Iced Coffee. Very watered down and rather get this at Starbucks. Plus side is they sell Toddy iced coffee maker and you can buy the 2 pack refills for $5.99 (same price as Amazon). I usually order the Iced latte or regular coffee which is A-OK. Being the only full coffee bar in the mall, line gets pretty long and crazy. Their condiment area is always filled up with trash and the thermo cream/milk containers are either empty or contains old milk. Every time I add cream into my drink, I end up having a bad tummy that day. Maybe they don't wash it out before refilling it with new cream? Just avoid adding their cream or add at your risk. Never had any problems with their service. For the quality you get, this place seem to be overpriced just for labeling their coffee bar with the name NORDSTROM. I expect much higher quality coffee and espresso beans with that sort of brand image. read more

One of the highest quality cafes you'll find in the area, (even better than that one that starts with an 'S' and usually has a line going around the corner), with an impressive selection of healthy-ish food, like sandwiches, wraps, fruit & yogurt cups, and even protein plates with cheese, crackers, & egg. The pastries come from some of the best bakeries in the LA area, and feature some decadent options like Chocolate-Raspberry Snowballs wrapped in shredded coconut during the Wintertime, and your typical cafe favorites like scones, coffee cakes, cookies, brownies, muffins, and sea salt caramel chocolates the rest of the year. If that sounds too heavy for you, they also have some relatively healthy packages goods for on the go snacking, such as Gluten-Free coconut macaron bites, granola & protein bars, and fresh fruit. Of course a true cafe needs to be known for its coffee, and this literal hole in the wall doesn't disappoint. It's one of the few places where I can get a Salted Caramel Mocha, Pumpkin Spice Latte, or Cold Brew Coffee with Coconut Milk and not have to feel guilty about it. Back in the day I used to love their lattes but for some reason I stopped visiting the Nordstrom E Bars, I think mainly because I rarely make it past Nordstrom and into the actual mall these days. Well, on Saturday I was picking up a few Sees Candies Easter treats so I happened to walk right by the E Bar. I asked for their best iced tea and the gal recommended a delicious Peach Pomegranate Iced tea. The tea was so much tastier than a lot of the of the other popular coffee chain offerings out there. I asked them what tea they brew because I liked it so much and they said it was Mighty Leaf. Nice job on the teas Nordie E Bar! As I was leaving I could not help but smell the intoxicating smell of high quality coffee beans and I asked them what coffee beans they use and they said it is an exclusive blend roasted and hand selected by/for Nordstrom aka that means its good! read more

I love the Ebar and actually worked here in high school back when it was a much smaller space. Yesterday my mom , daughter and my self stopped to get some ice tea while Christmas shopping and unfortunately not happy with how the employees were. They were just on autopilot didn't make eye contact very short answers to customers and no smiles. I understand it's the holidays and crazy and everyone is exhausted. However fake a smile if need be. I love the drinks here. I come here once, twice a month, and every time I've come, whether there was a line or not, the drinks were made fairly quickly and always taste delicious. I've tried various drinks but my favorite cold drink would be the pomegranate iced tea. Perfect drink for a hot summer day! For the hot drinks I love their cappuccinos, and since I don't drink dairy, I always get almond milk instead of milk. Pretty awesome that they have almond milk, because I don't do soy milk, and coconut milk is pretty whatever to me. Starbucks, learn from this- get almond milk!! Customer service is really good too, you can thank Nordstrom for that part. I hardly ever run into someone that works for Nordstrom that is prone to bad customer service. Prices are fair, not cheap, not expensive. Sitting can be a bit tricky depending on how busy the mall is. But you can order you drink, and shop around or just walk as you drink it, or if there's seats available, just relax and enjoy. read more

I ordered the mocha ice storm with a pump of caffeine in (accidently). This was my first time ordering at this place and though the people working were very nice, they were very confusing. Like I asked for the drink and they gave me a larger cup size and charged me more.. I was confused and asked them If i could get a regular size... Then they asked if I wanted coffee in it ( i assumed it was part of it because starbucks mocha frap has coffee in it) but i guess not here and they added it and it was too late to say no so i just stuck with it. I think that Nordstrom E-Bar make the best espresso and cappuccino anywhere, hands-down. Which other café chain distinguishes between their "black espresso" beans and their "cappuccino" beans? Exactly. It's all about the demanding customers with good taste, and staff who serve them. The atmosphere strikes a balance between chaotic Brea Mall café culture (overexcited old people grabbing each others hands while they argue about something important; kids gazing at windows of fresh pastries; strangers sharing newspapers; students hammering at wifi equipment; amazingly, people reading books too) with a certain intensity (very serious young women insisting on a very particular kind of latte, no cappuccino, no macchiato; business people conducting business while eating pastries and talking on their mobiles). It's all fresh and delicious, relaxing, and fun. I love this place--and especially the location. read more
