Service here is great!! When I got here there was no line and they were friendly while taking my order. What caught my attention was as I was waiting my drink being prepared and the cashiers stepped away to do other work and when customers started arriving, they acknowledged the customers and said they will be right with them! I love that! Some places don't even acknowledge you and keep you waiting. Secondly, the new Summer drink I ordered Iced Blue Coconut Matcha was made to perfection... why you ask? Because the first time I tried it was at Universal Studios Starbucks, it did not even looked like the picture and the main taste I tasted was matcha. This Starbucks is giving "roomy but make it tiny." It feels spacious, yet there are only three tables... all sharing one long booth like a family reunion. Not really a fan of sharing a booth with strangers. I ordered the White Chocolaty Delight (aka a white mocha in disguise), and it did exactly what it needed to do. I was waiting for my ride, so I posted up with a book and pretended I was the main character. I love the decor in this Starbucks with some abstract art displayed. The City has a nice vibe to it and the patrons in friendly discussion. I ordered my food kept in the packaging and find I can keep a good supply for work and the weekends. I usually ask for a couple of slabs of butter, which are complementary and really add to the flavor, once toasted. read more

Extremely Disappointing Service I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Starbucks today 8/10/3026. I stood at the counter waiting to place my order while two employees continued having a conversation with each other instead of acknowledging or assisting me. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the male barista wearing a mask looked directly at me, saw me standing at the counter waiting, and still chose to continue his conversation with his colleague rather than take my order. There was no greeting, no "I'll be right with you," and no acknowledgment whatsoever. My order was finally taken at 11:42 AM, but only after another female employee (Tiffany)had the courtesy to say hello to me, which seemed to prompt the barista to finally provide service. If a manager is reading this review, I encourage you to check the cameras around 11:42 AM. Customers should never have to stand at the counter feeling invisible while employees socialize in front of them. A simple acknowledgment takes seconds. Thank you to the female employee who finally greeted me. Unfortunately, the overall experience was unacceptable and far below the level of customer service I would expect from Starbucks. read more

I stop here for my morning coffee almost daily. I do mobile order to speed things up. Parking can be a little hectic at times but only in the sense where you need to park a little farther, I've never been unable to find a place altogether. I order a medicine ball AKA Honey Citrus Mint Tea. I go to the restroom come out. My drink is on the counter no problem. He could be dry as hell whatever I just wanna get home drink the tea and feel better. So I can get inside my house I take a swig of tea and I have a mouth full of loose tea like literally.. What exactly happened? I've been to Starbucks many times over many years. I've had this medicine ball can't even count. How many times and I've never had loose tea in my drink. We stopped at this Starbucks to pick up a gift card and it was absolutely packed! There were tons of people waiting for drinks due to online orders. The person we spoke with was friendly but extremely efficient and clearly overworked. This Starbucks needs to do better and hire more staff for its busy location. Parking here is chaotic! There are too many popular businesses in this corner making it really hard to park nearby. I placed a mobile order and really liked their screen showing status of orders. I went in to use my laptop and there was a homeless woman at the table. I asked can I share the table with her and there was no response from her. The place was packed. She was coughing on the table and I said nothing because a confrontation doesn't solved the problem. I felt frustrated that the staff didn't do anything about her coughing all over the table. I tried calling Starbucks and no one answered the phone. My suggestion is for the staff to clean and sweep the area more regularly for sanitary reasons. They could of offered her some hot tea and sanitized the table but they did nothing. Everyone that includes staff and people there thought it was normal for a homeless person to cough all over the table so I left! I can only imagine the germs and bacteria that are left on that table. Had not been to this Starbucks location in awhile, so we were very surprised when we stepped into the store, to see it was entirely remodeled. I think this is the future trend of Starbucks, "more" counter space and storage but less tables and seats for customers because they do not want customers to stay for hours. Their free coffee or tea refill benefits also becomes less of a benefit because there are less seats for customers to stay and enjoy their cup of coffee or tea. Yes, there are seats outside, but if it is too hot, there's rain, and etc., then one has to "fight" for one of the 3-4 or so seats on the inside of the store. There were only 2 workers here on a Saturday afternoon and they were B-U-S-Y just with online/app orders. There was another customer ahead of us who wanted to pay at the register, but no barista was available to help her or us out. The baristas did not even acknowledge any of us waiting at the register. Yes, they were busy, and this is why I have a love/hate relationship with Starbucks. They don't hire enough people, but yet they expect 2 baristas to fulfill orders, TWO. We waited for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgement, and who knows how long the person before me had been waiting. We just up and left. Yes, we have the app, but the drink we wanted to order didn't have the preferred customization we wanted in the app, so thus why we were wanting to order at the register. Don't waste your time here. This starbucks is located at ralphs plaza, next to corner bakery. Best thing about this location is the outdoor seating. They're clean and a great way to get fresh air when you just want to break away from work for lunch. Did mobile ordering and everything was ready at pickup. This is by far the best Starbucks in Orange County! they just remodeled it and the outside courtyard is perfect for a meet or a hangout, as well as great surrounding restaurants. The staff is consistant and the manager Cat has been there a longtime and ALWAYS striving to make everyone happy and organized. Today I asked for help from Eddie. The first worker I had explained that the $10 on my phone birthday gift card wax not working. He said give it to her and was kind. The operating manager Eddie came to help. He asked to borrow my phone and said he had never seen it not work. I asked gif store credit if possible. He quickly handed me a gift card and told me to call. Then I asked to speak with the manager and that was him. I asked for his card and he gave me Cat T. and he didn't write his name. I love store #572 but Eddie wants me to inconvenience someone by texting to detect or email me instead of problem solving because "I've never seen that before." I've been coming to this Starbucks for about 4 months since I started working in Brea and let me tell you, this Starbucks always disappoints!! There's 3 workers who personally take my experience and isolate me so that these things happen to me specifically.. They forget your food items consistently, make your drinks watery on occasion AND give you the worst attitudes! No other Starbucks will go out of their way to serve their customers like this, so it really stands out how awful these employees can be. Tiffany was also excellent in keeping the service poor and wasting my time. Both on 4/13 & 4/21 she not only took my order, she forgot my same food items both times! Now that's consistency!! On 4/21 I finally confirmed my isolated experience as I went with a friend and paid on the same bill. Guess whose food items were not prepared at the same time. She made me and my friend wait 15 mins longer for my items when his already came out! She's even really good at putting up a fake act and sounding concerned when I had to go back up to the register and remind them Which brings me to 5/25 when I came to order, I had a Fucci face cuz I had a rough morning in traffic, so I thought a coffee would calm me. I hesitate to ever come back to this Starbucks & Sydney reinforced why! She was at the register helping other guests with a smile and talking to them about their day, actually understanding she works in customer service. When it was my turn, not only was Sydney's CS was so transparent, she gave me the same face I had and the silent treatment!!! Once I uncomfortably placed my order and walked away her attitude changed right back! It definitely felt intended to feel unwelcome. WOW Sydney you really know how to take a customer as an individual and really understand them.. NOT! I'm so glad she was there to take my order! The other employee I'm going to leave out because I kinda feel bad for him. To say the least he's just annoying lol I'm all honesty what I'm trying to say is, they are not taking their customer service seriously and personally go out of their way to treat paying customers like this. Why do they always forget the whipped cream?! I'll even put 'extra whip cream' and it's never included. The drink quality is lower to me here versus other surrounding Starbucks. The parking lot is a NIGHTMARE most of the time. I never come alone so someone can just stay double parked in the car. The customer service is also hit or miss. read more
