Did not realize how popular this coffee bar at Nordstrom was. I really enjoyed my lavender chai latte. It was very good. My mom got the mint cookie shake but it was not very shake like, more like the consistency of my drink. I would go back and try something else from the menu! read more

This tiny coffee shop located next to Nordstrom's mall entrance fills in quite a few gaps as far as beverage options go that don't include soda at the Christiana Mall. They have all of your standard barista options made to order as well as several mouthwatering smoothies, ice tea concoctions, lemonades and coolers. The Pomegranate Iced Tea is my favorite made with ginger peach ice tea, blackberries and pomegranates. Delicious and refreshing. The food case is small but the items are super fresh and prepared daily. Once they are gone that's it for the day. They usually have wraps, a fresh roasted turkey sandwich, a chicken and basil sandwich, cheese and cracker snacks, three types of salads and of course small goodies such as cookies and brownies. And all of their offerings are a fair price. read more

Really didn't enjoy the restaurant upstairs in Nordstrom, the sit down café. I was good to them and tipped, but they were bad in return. So maybe they shouldn't be tipped anymore... The staff is super rude, and strange acting. 1) It looked like a guy was on his phone, behind the counter, in the food service area looking a picture. Employee was a loud, annoying guy (maybe in his 30s). Don't know his name, he was possibly hispanic (this may identify him to management). Works on Saturdays. 2) Female waitress messed up order and dropped things on floor. Tall Caucasian girl, with dark hair (maybe in her 30s). I think her name was Charlotte or something. She works on Saturdays. I've called several times to complain, and they refused to issue a refund over the phone. They'll reap what they sow. I'll probably go to corporate after posting this review, as I'm still not satisfied. I think it's time to hire new staff. read more

$5.25 for some ice club soda and a splash of vanilla that they can't even bother to stir!!! Don't waste your money

I was a regular visitor here during a year and a half of working elsewhere in the Christiana Mall and greatly enjoyed getting to know the staff on a personal basis. This small enclave and the adjoining courtyard-type area are a nice escape from the more hectic ends of the mall, especially the food court area on weekends. Offers an eclectic menu standard to the other e-Bar locations, featuring very fresh made to order drinks and usually very fresh baked goods. Their handful of prepared foods, which I believe are delivered fresh from the "Sixth and Main" restaurant upstairs, are a hidden treat, especially the chicken and bow tie pasts salad. My current life in Michigan offers two e-Bars in the region, and they definitely do not match the character and charm of this one. read more

The coffees and teas here are very decent, and the food/snack items are well-made. But the service? Ridiculously poor. For Nordstrom standards, this is just silly. We weren't greeted by the cashier, and she was less than helpful. She was kind of like "what do you want?" attitude. Not even a hello! The Barista passed by us and acted like we were an inconvenience. He just handed us the coffee, saying "here you go", and that was it. Really? Trust me, the customers they interact with in the mall aren't that rude... If life is just TOO hard for these people to bear, why don't they just quit? I know several people who would be more grateful to have their job. If management reads this, please shape up these 'well-skilled' employees working in your cafe. read more

Consistently delicious, high quality and inexpensive food. Ebar's Cobb Salad is the best cobb salad, ever. Try it with the dark cherry balsamic vinaigrette. FYI - Once the packaged foods sell out, no more are prepared until the next day. read more

The espresso is so perfectly ground and hand tamped, unlike Starbucks, and the barista's pull the shots precisely between 20-25 seconds. So if you see them dump espresso, that means they're making you the best quality espresso drink possible. There is no burnt taste to the coffee or espresso and it's always fresh. The barista's are so polite and can always recommend a drink for you if you have trouble choosing. The pastries are always fresh but my favorite thing about the eBar is that they have Cliff Bars :) read more

I went there yesterday evening to grab a pomegranate tea and received the worst service. The employee name was Melissa and she lacked common manners like please, thank you and you're welcome. When I asked if they were trained on customer service skills and that customer centricity goes along way she responded and said did you think maybe I wasn't feeling well. First thing, if she isn't feeling well she shouldn't be making drinks because she can potentially get others sick. Secondly, if I ask for a tea with no ice and to put ice on the side, why did you give me a half filled cup. Her response was I wanted to leave room for the ice. I asked her to fill my cup with tea and I'll place the amount of ice as needed. She did so with attitude and a nasty demeanor. She gave me the tea and I said thank you, no response from her. I said thank you and I hope you feel better. No response again, keep in my when I gave her my money and she gave me my receipt when I placed the order I said thank you. This girl never said you're welcome at any point. I told her I do not want her making drink and I asked the other employee to make my drink. She did so with calmness and she apologized for my experience. I will be calling the manager Brian today. read more

I just had a really bad experience here. An African American girl took my order (neither of the employees had name tags on) and she became visibly irritated with me when I was confused because I stated that the item I wanted was not listed on the menu. She replied that it is the same as a different drink and started to put my order in as the other drink, so I said "are you out of the ingredients for the drink that I want? I'm not following what you are saying". She became annoyed and said "they are the same!" And I said "no they aren't. I read both their descriptions and the one I want includes sorbet and I want a smoothie, not just a regular drink". The girl began to tap her fingers on the counter and stated "anything else?" in an annoyed manner. At this point my fiancé said "what's with the attitude? She obviously wasn't trying to be rude to you, she just didn't understand what you said". To which the employee replied "I don't have an attitude". The situation continued until I decided to just pay and walk away. When I got my order, I asked the other girl working there if the manager is available and she said "no." To which I asked "well when will he be back? What is his name?" And she said "his name is Bryan and he will be here in the morning" and then turned and walked away. I have never experienced such rude treatment from employees in any section of Nordstrom!
