    Chicken Gnocchi and brussel sprouts

This place is hidden on the third floor of the mall. I've been to this mall so many times and never knew this place existed. First time here and the food was WONDERFUL. Truly a hidden gem. I had the Brussel Sprouts and Chicken Gnocchi. Great experience!

I ate here twice before and each time the food was great. Today the food was absolutely amazing truly tasteful. I order the Fish and Chips and Crab Bisque and both were piping hot and flavorful. The fish were perfect crisp, it wasn't too hard or greasy like other restaurants and the fries were the perfect crunch. The soups was creamy and not watery and they are very health conscious during the Covid-19 experience, the waiters wear gloves and mask and the tables are covered with a paper film and exchanged and washed after each person is served and leaves!

Many people are not aware of this Hidden place at Nordstrom department store. I had been here many times, I was surprised that I hadn't left any reviews. The cafe is small but still plenty of people can be seated. The menu often changes depends on season and always new things are added on. I like their salads and small bites. However, I have tried their fish and chips just without chips, also was good. The most what I like is easy atmosphere in the cafe. The staff is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu. For example, I have requested the items without gluten free and the waitress has told me what item on the menu is GF. Highly suggesting to come and have a cocktail and small bite.

While shopping for my daughters homecoming on a Saturday it was great break to have a bite for lunch! We both got the kids tomato soup and grilled cheese with salads. Everything was hot and fresh! The only downfall was that one side of my grilled cheese wasn't melted to well... I had three thick slices of cheese that were just there lol.. The waitress was nice to have it remade for me. They seemed very busy and it took a lil while before I received the second grilled cheese. Yet, very satisfying! Always a go to while in Beachwood mall. Unfortunately, it's the only sit down restaurant in the mall now. Kudos to Nordstrom Grill!

They are a bit steep for what they are. Especially since the Espresso Martinis are pre-batched. I haven't had a good one yet that is pre-made . No crema on top even. We have been here four times now. We haven't had one visit in which the bartenders are friendly. They act as if you are burdening them because you came in to order. Most of the nights we have been here with the exception of one, they have been slow.. I'm not sure why they always act like they have twenty other tables waiting and can't answer any questions. If you don't like people find a different job. As to the hours of operation, which states they are open until 2am. They have closed early every time we have been here. Don't bother trying to call ahead to see if they are open because no one answers the phone. Nor do they come around to let you know it's last call. We tried for 3 hrs to call on our last visit before we made the drive. Never got an answer. Thankfully they were only to find out the bubble gun was broken. This could be a great place with it's location but you have to have friendly staff. It's the same all the time so it can't be the case of one bad night.

It is definitely on the formal side. The food is top notch and some of our favorite items are the bruschettas and salads. Very nice spot for a date night or special occasion or out of town guests. I appreciate greatly from them that you can select in your reservation which zone of the restaurant you want to sit in. Service has been very good when we've been there most recently Corinne I believe her name was was very friendly and helpful and did an amazing job managing many tables some with difficult customers. One note, NOT a negative to me but may be noteworthy for some: I don't think Gigi's is a spot for kids or large family events with kids, unless they have a private dining space I'm unaware of. Space between tables is tight and the space overall is not huge but they make great use of the space. The staff are extremely efficient and there are many of them moving with trays at any given time, it's absolutely not a spot to walk around with a toddler if they get bored at the table. The chairs for example are also small so don't expect a giant family size booth here. Again these are positives to me but just notes!

For entrees, we had the signature lasagna that was fantastic and a special from what I remember was short rib and couscous. Everything was very delicious. The only downside coming to this wonderful restaurant is parking. I had to park two streets over and walking on icy and snowy sidewalks was not pleasant.

This time, I brought my family along for lunch, and it did not disappoint! We took advantage of their happy hour specials, which included half-off pizzas, select appetizers, and drinks. We started with the Street Corn Nachos and added grilled chicken. They were absolutely incredible--easily some of the best nachos we've ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delicious. We also ordered the whipped feta, which was simply divine and a must-try. For our entrées, one person ordered the pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. I had the sausage pasta, which was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light while still being incredibly satisfying. The third entrée was the Thai noodles , and it was another hit. Everyone commented on how fresh and well-prepared their meal was. The service, as always, was impeccable. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. What really stands out about this restaurant is the teamwork. Everyone pitches in, whether it's bringing out food, clearing plates, or noticing your water glass is getting low. It doesn't matter if they're your server or not--they make sure you're taken care of, and that level of hospitality really makes a difference. The restaurant is also spotless, and I love that the open kitchen allows you to watch the team preparing the food. It adds to the overall experience and shows how much care goes into every dish. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or happy hour, this place consistently delivers. Great food, outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a beautiful space make this one of my favorite restaurants in the Cleveland area. If you're visiting the Pinecrest area, do yourself a favor and make this a stop--you won't regret it!

Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!

It wasn't our first choice, but it ended up being a decent find--especially if you're in the mood for creative tacos. We arrived well after the lunch rush and there were only a handful of patrons in the restaurant, so it was fairly quiet. We ordered chips and salsa to start, but unfortunately they never made it to the table. When our food arrived and I asked about them, our waitress admitted she had forgotten to write it down. The food also seemed to take a bit longer than expected considering the restaurant wasn't busy. Because of that, the service was a little underwhelming. That said, the tacos themselves were the highlight of the visit. I ordered three of the smaller tacos, but they packed a lot of flavor. My picks were The Yoda, The Love Shack, and The Filthy Fajita--all creative and really well done. Small in size, but definitely big on flavor. Overall, the food was solid, but the service could use some improvement. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see this being a good happy hour spot to grab tacos and drinks with friends.
