Being fair is informing all your card holders or customers of changes in returns policies.Being Fair is giving a refund,in the same manner of payment,provided the items have Nordstrom tags,manufacturer price tags and proof it was purchased at the store. I had all items purchased on my Nordstrom card.The store manager,Katrin, refused to refund me for the price payed for it,two,she decided to put it on a merchandise credit,though it was purchased on my Nordstrom card and third took that opportunity to school me of their refund policy in April,after one of her very rude supervisors,Chase had addressed me in an undertone.I guess it has turned to Neimans,where you have to dress a certain way to be acknowledged. She,Katrin claimed they couldn't go back to three years,though one of her supervisors stated their systems can go back that far.They used to be able to go further,I guess times have changed but instead of taking your frustration out on me,you should invested your time into training your employees and get the "walmart attitude"out of them. I can understand if it wasn't purchased on a card that they couldn't track,but this is a card they issued and can trace transactions.This guy Chase,was ridiculous,y rude,I couldn't even get a word in.He was cocky,rude,no home training and disrespectful.It is a business relationship and nothing more but you are in the wrong business when a respectful customer can't even get a word in. Not only was it a merchandise credit,but at a price below what I paid for.The prices and tags were all right on the items. I've shopped at Nordstrom for more than 25 years,long before and more years combined in any experience Katrin or her rude manager,Chase might have collectively working with the company. I will take my time,gather all I purchased at the store and return it.I would tell all my contemporaries to stop or cut down on their Nordstrom purchases.Power of the consumer. read more

I try to do everything for our family at Nordstrom bc the customer service is outstanding. We also love to eat at the restaurant on the third floor. We can navigate our gluten free diet well, the food is outstanding, and they have great cocktails and wine. We LOVE everything Nordstrom! read more

I am a faithful Nordstrom customer and note earner ;) I have lived in Austin, Denver and now Houston and always frequented Nordstrom in those cities. I have always bought everything from Nordstrom, including cosmetics, and I am a beauty junkie. I am sad to say that the beauty department at the Galleria Nordstrom has really disappointed me. It is difficult to find employees that are actually trained and educated on all of the product lines. I met with an employee that is not tied to a specific brand, and all he did was insult me and the products that I like. He was so rude and snobby! I have gone in multiple times looking for new launches, only to find the sales associate does not know anything about it and pulls it out from a box in a drawer. read more

I have to let everyone know why Nordstrom has the best customer service hands down EVER! On Sunday, Nov 17th, I visited the Nordstrom at the Dallas NorthPark Center. The item I purchased was the Bobbi Brown foundation stick, but it was not available in the store, and I needed it by Saturday, Nov 23rd. I was told it would be delivered to me before my event date. Unfortunately, that was not the case. BUT this is how AMAZINGLY AWESOME Morgan a Manager at the Dallas NorthPark is. When I called to tell her about what had transpired, Morgan did not hesitate to offer a solution. She went above and beyond to insure my experience was the best. My item was not only delivered to me at my job before my event date, I was able to keep the additional foundation stick in route for delivery to my home. I will forever be a loyal customer of Nordstrom because of their continued dedication to delivering the best customer satisfaction in the retail industry. read more

This is my favorite department store. It's not snooty like Saks but it's not a Macy's either where they are bugging you to apply for their credit card. If I buy a high end brand, I buy it here because they have a great no hassle return policy. They have a juniors' section with pretty good sales and trendy clothes and accessories. Great designer inspired sunglasses for 10 bucks! The SAs in that dept are super sweet and friendly. Their customer service is excellent throughout the whole store actually. Alterations are free (they do an amazing job and I would know, my mom is a seamstress). I was just trying on shoes and had on a pair of two year old black Tory Burch flats with a huge brown scrape on the side. The shoe salesman immediately took it and buffed it out for free!! And I didn't even buy the flats from Nordie's. The only thing lacking is their men's dept, pretty limited selection according to the boyfriend. read more

Had incredible customer service today. I retuned a pair of kids boots that were poorly made. My child wore them once. I did not have a receipt and they took it back immediately with no questions asked. I will never buy kids shoes anywhere else. Instore service when buying the shoes was great, a kind sales lady helped us perfectly. When something was wrong with the item 3 weeks later though, I called their customer service and unfortunately spoke to a very unkind and grumpy lady that was plain rude and said I "just had to buy a new one". Some people should really not be working in customer service. I'm buying online from now on, they have seperate customer service that do understand the meaning of service. read more

I wanted a particular pair of shoes but called Nordstrom first to see if they had it in stock before going there. I called their customer service number and someone picked it up on the first ring! I told her what I was looking for and was immediately transferred to the shoe department. I spoke with the gentleman who answered and then checked the inventory for me. What's remarkable was all of this was done in about 3 minutes!! Now that's customer service! read more

i love nordstrom!!!hands down, best customer service ever, because the parent company concentrates on it. i dont get snobby looks from storeclerks when i'm browsing the more expensive things, but they also never hover or make me feel like i'm being watched. their return policy is also awesome, and they've honored a price adjust even though it was past 2 weeks. they are happy to send a size when they don't have it in store. they do free hemming on pants/jeans you buy from them. read more

Worst customer experience I've ever had at a Nordstrom. I am a loyal card member and frequent shopper and have never had a worse experience. The order pickup service was incapable of filling an order within 3 hours and was slow to help me when I showed up. I am changing my previous review. I gave it 2 stars last time, becaause being treated rudely by snobby salesman, but this last time I give it much higher (that's the reason I'm writing this review, is to give high marks to the sales staff who helped me at lunch time today). It's an excellent place to buy shirts (I wear the no-wrinkle kind and they always have plenty in my size, 16 1/2 x 36 so I don't have to hunt around for what I want). I hate the galleria in general but with this store you can park right next to it and go in without going into the mall. I was in and out in 20 minutes, even at lunch time. read more

Though Nordstrom is one my favorite stores, yesterday its cosmetics department left much to be desired. It's seemed that when they remodeled the section they al replaced the good staff with staff that could careless about customer service. I wanted some Laura Mercier products and new exactly which ones but the staff completely ignore me. They were too busy helping what appeared to be one of their coworkers. I didn't expect to drop what they were doing to help me but they should have at least acknowledged me and said they would assist me when they finished or called a coworker to help me. I had to go around the entire cosmetics section to find someone to get me the products that I needed. I would have gotten better customer services at Macy's which is pretty had because they don't have good service either. I do not know what has happened to their management that they have allowed such incompetent people to represent their store. read more

I recently went into Nordstrom to see one of my favorite associates at the Christian Dior Counter only to find out he was no longer there. He would always call me and replenish my Prestige Skincare for me and send me little goodies with a sweet personalized card. His name was Cesario . He was an amazing artist with excellent customer service . I was serviced by a new girl at the counter and told her how Cesario would always take care of me and how sad I was he was gone . She told me she would take care of me what did I need to buy. I told her I needed the refill for my moisturizer and eye cream from Prestige. Also I needed more serum. She immediately grabbed the items and took me to the register . Didn't ask if I was done shopping, didn't show me new Dior items, and I really love Dior. She didn't offer to sit me down and play with make up . It was like she was rushing me out the store .It was a slow day and she was just leaning on the counter on her cell phone.Cesario would give me mini facials and show me new makeup from new collections. He really took his time and gave me luxury service . As she rang up the items I told her I changed my mind I would come back another day. I just didn't get the service I used to get when Cesario was there. I ended up buying my Prestige online through Dior because at least they gave me samples,something that wasn't even provided at the time of check out at Nordstrom. read more
