Poor customer service from one of the old lady cashier. She was rude atleast to me I guess. She Talked too much to co worker, instead of doing her work. She charged my card 2x the price of the same item I only got one of that item. Not paying attention until I noticed it. She turned around to her co worker and chit chat before she printed my freakin receipt for the mean time I was standing there waiting for them to finish their chitchats before I can get my receipt and leave. She didnt say anything or acknowledge her mistake or say thank you for shopping . The lady was so unprofessional. The store was also unorganized stuff all over the place. As much as I like Nordstrom Rack this one isn't really one of my favorites. When you walk in things seem organized till you start looking through the isles. They are so messy and randomly grouped. Today I noticed the size 0 dresses were in the same area as the plus size clothes. Kind of hard to find what you're looking for when things are scattered all around. I used to be able to find so much stuff here as well but it doesn't seem like they get new shipments or if they do it's almost the same kind of stuff. The line is ALWAYS long. Went to this new Nordstrom Rack to kill time. It's big and busy with lots of shoppers. Registers are on the Left-hand side of the store. Why are they over there? Lots of things to buy at some reasonable and some expensive prices. Looked at handbags - didn't really see anything I liked. Saw some hats - didn't like them either. So they sell used items that were returned at a full line store !!! BUT don't take back returns that are older than 45 days with tags and receipts attached!?!!! When did their policy change? I totally forgot i had the items in my trunk. Walked in and got turned away. I can understand you can't return due to length of time, but to say you can't even exchange rot give store credit, is insane to me, especially since i had tags attached some items still in plastic and NOT used . Crazy long lines except at 3pm on weekdays when moms are getting their kids according to the staff. I often do my shopping online and end up doing my returns here, and it's such a headache. I always allow a half hour to stand in the line. The finds here are hit and miss. The selection is far better online. The store is good for sort of all-in-one needs. Whole outfit + makeup. No one single item is a cheap buy. Come here when you have time, patience, and want everything in one store. read more

Parking here can be an issue. You'll just have to accept that. The store itself is pretty good- though the "deals" aren't always deals. First, I agree with some of the other reviewers that some of the merchandise here is not up to Nordstrom store quality. That's kind of a rip off for people who don't know the merchandise lines. Further, something things are much cheaper on Amazon- if you are willing to do a little looking. Liebeskind Berlin and Lodis can both be found MUCH cheaper on Amazon. But Kate Spade is cheaper at the Rack- so you have to do your research. Yes, the lines here can be long- but if you wait, sometimes they go down to nothing. It's not like the lines are constant. And the sales can be genuinely good- but do your research and know what you're buying. I've never had a problem with a return here, either- so that's nice. read more

Store manager, Peter has an impeccable customer service skills! I frequent this branch amongst others around the east bay because of their better inventory. And to be honest, this is one of the cleanest NR I've been to since moving back from Vegas. I came in tonight with a friend and found a cheap deal for a purse and took it the register. Apparently, the price tag was incorrect but the young man was willing to honor the price until another associate yelled on the background, "heck no!". My friend and I were taken aback with her reaction, part of me says, she probably thought I messed up with the tag. I was willing to walk away since I don't even want that purse in the first place but with her rude response, I was determined to have them honor the lower price so I spoke to Peter and he was kind enough to apologize for the incident and still honor the price tag. I grew up in San Ramon and I remember back then we had to drive out all the way to San Leandro to go to Nordstrom Rack. Nice that they finally opened one in the area. They have Tory Burch, Free People, Kate Spade etc. They also have a lot of cosmetics here, there's a bunch of Urban Decay, Nars and Smashbox Palettes. Rude and discriminatory employee working at the fitting room. Told my mom she couldn't use the handicap room because she's "not handicapped" and was generally rude saying things like "this white lady is taking hella long" for example, to other employees with overall a rude attitude. There are many reasons that you can't visually see where people may need the handicap dressing room: chronic pain, severe arthritis, colonoscopy bag/chest tubes/other medical support attached to the body, amputee not visible due to clothing, prosthetics, severe claustrophobia, etc. I empathize that working on a Saturday evening is probably not ideal for this young person, but there is no excuse for this behavior. read more

The staff had a mean attitude. I went to return cosmetics bought on Nordstrom.com at this Nordstrom rack and the staff had an attitude like almost scolding me. She told me that Rack does not take back items bought at Nordstrom. I was here at around noon today and noticed that the store did not care that there were FIVE adults without masks. Unfortunately I did not notice them until 2 of them were already paying but the cashiers didn't even bother to remind them to mask up. Had I seen them earlier, I would've told a store employee or a manager about it. Outside of this, in general, I don't like shopping here. The wait times are usually long regardless if it's during the weekday or weekends or morning or afternoon. Even short lines can still take a surprising amount of time to go through. Nordstrom Rack is an huge store. they used every space to display merchandise for sale. no check out counter seen by the exit. pay stations are situated thruout the store. I love Nordstrom Rack and like to go whenever I get a chance. This location is on the smaller side and it seemed like they had a bigger selection of non-sale goods. I live for Nordstroms sale days when they red tags drop down to almost thrift store prices. We went on one of those sale days and since there was less of a sale section I had less to search through. On the plus side they had one of the best selections of sweaters I've seen this winter season. I got some super cute sweaters for 20 dollars which is so cheap! I even went home and ordered more online because I can't control myself. read more

This spot is hit or miss depending on what you're looking for, but the best part is when you find that perfect item at an amazing price. It's usually crowded but the staff gets you through the lines pretty quick and they have the special pop up lines around the store when it's really busy. The location is the best part though, close to plenty of stores, movie theater and Whole Foods. Even if you don't find what you're looking for you can make a whole day out of visiting the surrounding stores. read more

Ayo! I'm tired of using technology! Love the store but the whole iPhone check out stations throughout the store thingies has taken forever...twice! This might not matter to others but I am a crappy, crappy, crappy shopper! If I see something I grab it and take my chances that it will fit. That means that I spend like 15 minutes max in a store. So when my check out time is equivalent to my shopping time it makes me wanna rage! That means next time I'm gonna kick it old school and wait in the regular register line. That long long line on the west side of the store.....ugh. Aside from that whole check out thing Nord Rack is pretty awesome. There were at least 4 rows of shoes in my size and lot of Joe's jeans. This is important because I don't have to try Joe's Jeans on...they fit every time! Something to keep in mind if you are not a crappy shopper like me is that the lines for the dressing rooms get long...as long or longer than the check out lines. read more

What's not to love about the Rack?! It's a destination for high end fashion, at bargain prices. Centrally located in the heart of the Tri-Valley, this store is 35,000 square feet that serves as one of the main anchors of the already bustlin' & poppin' outdoor strip mall named Persimmon Place in Dublin. Where is this exactly? Well, Persimmon Place is located at Hacienda Drive and Dublin Boulevard, across from Hacienda Crossings in Dublin. Very easy on/off access from I-580, and you can't get lost - as it's seen from the freeway! There's tons of parking - although it can get hectic on weekends & during the holiday season; but you can park all over the area - & I find it easier to personally park FARTHER, along the corners and edges of the sprawling shopping center - and make my way towards the stores & restaurants that call this place home. Historically, this is Nordstrom's 178th Rack outlet in the country, with 13 now in Northern California - where the company also has 10 full-line stores, including one in nearby Pleasanton's Stoneridge Shopping Center. However, at this particular Rack location, 55% of the apparel is for men, women and children and the rest consists of accessories, handbags and shoes. I've always managed to find so much items at prices I can't describe! The best times to come here is during their Clear the Rack events - in which, they offer an extra 25% off on already marked clearance items throughout the store. I simply manage to find one of a kind deals - particularly in the mens section (apparel & shoes) as well as their luggage/travel accessories, which I find appealing! You just have to "dig in", which enhances the true meaning of bargain hunting. That's pretty much the "thrill" - if you have the patience of doing that; you may be as well find a rewarding experience during that retail therapy that you're about to encounter. I had the pleasure of attending the Nordstrom Rack preview event this evening. Invitations were mailed to residents and I jumped at the opportunity to check out the offerings. First of all, I'd like to give a huge shoutout to the staff for creating a lovely opening experience and being welcoming and friendly despite the large crowd. It was impressive. There were small bites and drinks too, even mini sparkling wine! People were toting massive bags and carts loaded with goodies. The store is bright, inviting and has ample dressing rooms. I appreciate the ability to check out at a variety of areas in the store. The selection of items was very good. Lots of spring bags, purses, sunglasses and clothing. They even have some NYX products including the butter lip glosses complete with testers. I went in to browse the options hoping to find some work wear. I was pleasantly surprised to find two blazers and a shift dress that I love all at an affordable price point. They did a lot with the space they have and I'm looking forward to returning. I can definitely see the Persimmon Place parking filling up fast once the other stores open as it was very full near the Rack tonight. The Rack is a welcome addition to Dublin shopping! read more

I was killing some time in the area and wanted to see what they had in clearance. Boy it was a lot of money spent in a short time. Picked up a really nice winter jacket and a coat. Some summer sandals and a couple summer tops all on sale. They had a good inventory of merchandise and not too old. There were plenty of cashiers so the checkout lines weren't too long. Designers, designers everywhere! They have so much designer clothing, purses, and jewelry, I don't even know where to start. My friend loves designer merchandise, regardless of price. If that sounds like you, this is the place to be. Purses are cute, designer, and of course, not cheap. But when you think about who is making them, and how discounted they are from their original price, it seems worth it. I actually did not find one thing until the very end of searching the store. We passed by the fragrances, and lo and behold!! They had the one brand of perfume that I was too frugal to buy.... at a cheap price!! (Escada perfume = AMAZING). and it was only $11 for 4 small bottles that last quite a while and smell amazing and summery. I hope they continue to have it, because I would hate to have to pay full price for it elsewhere. read more

Had a return for an item I ordered online. A very expensive watch. I ended up not liking it so I decided to return it. There was a long line on a Thursday early afternoon. I get to the register and I notify the cashier that I needed to make a return and gave her the receipt along with the box. She checks it, scans it, opens the box to verify the item, processes the return. Says nothing at all. And I ask if she needs my card for the refund. She says no. Hands me the receipt and says NOTHING at all. Not even a "thank you". Not even a "have a nice day". And so in situations like these, I like to say "thank you to you too! Have a better day." Such poor customer service! So, you're mad that I made a return, I'm sure it doesn't go against your sales quota, and if you don't have a sales quota, you're working for a great company that allows customers to make returns within the time period allotted. Just be happy that you have loyal customers that shop at the store to ensure you have those hours to work! What happened to just simply being nice, polite and considerate?! Came here yesterday with my dad for some shoes and I had a pleasant shopping experience here everything is well stocked and the employees are very friendly here sure there was a little wait in the line to checkout but were in a pandemic and everything was well handled when it came to social distancing and the employees checking out customers this is one of my favorite locations. :) read more

As a former Nordstrom employee for over 5 years, I am very loyal to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. This location has a way better selection than the Nordstrom Rack in San Leandro, with some nice finds if you have the patience and time to try things on and make them work for you. Highlights I have found are some chic wide-legged BCBG trousers, a timeless red pea coat from Michael Kors, and well-cut jeans from AG. I am very picky about clothes now that I've been trying to get only high quality fabrics and tailoring for my capsule-inspired wardrobe, so there is probably a lot more if you're just looking for good deals. However, there is a sense of just general clutter and too much product that gives me anxiety, which is typical for an "outlet" type store. The line is always a tedious process and returns/order pick-ups, which are their own line, are even worse. We are talking like 20 people deep and one cashier. However, now that our Nordstrom at Stoneridge is now closed, it's nice to know you can return online Nordstrom purchases there rather than trekking to Walnut Creek, Downtown SF or Valley Fair. read more

I'm not much of a shopper and I hate discount shopping, but... Nordstrom Rack is pretty good. Nike hoop shorts - $20 North Face pull-over $30 Lots of cool odds-n-ends, mixed in with shizz. Dislike? Crap shoes that I've never seen in a regular Nordstrom and junky men's accessories. Not sure about the women's section, but overall a good place to grab some stuff at a decent deal. *Make sure you have a "trained eye" and don't buy the straight-to-Rack garbage that really isn't a "deal." 3.49 stars read more

Super annoyed. First time here was good. Second time the worst. Came in today for some deals. The staff does not know what they are doing at all. Lost my clothes due to confusion of how to put me in a dressing room. Changed out my number but never put it back so in the middle of me changing for the last 10min they tried to open my door 4 times.... 4th they ask me why i dont have a number... Seriously you took it to change and never put it back.... You think after the 1st time it connected in their heads. I used to work in retail and have dealt with what was bad but this takes the cakes. Selection is actually not great. Unorganized staff Mixed variety of the same stuff... Never coming back unless i am looking for accessories. At least that is decent. read more

Generally, I'm a fan of Nordstrom Rack and have found in incredible deals on high quality clothing and shoes. You do have to search through the racks, and often I have to draw on my patience to do so. I do notice that store to store, merchandise is dependent on location. Then one cashier finished servicing a customer but promptly left the area. So I waited another couple minutes. Then another cashier finished servicing a customer. Then again promptly left the area. So I waited another few minutes. Then another cashier finished servicing a customer. But again, promptly left the area. I mean, what gives? No acknowledgement of "Sir, we'll be with you in just a moment"...Was I invisible? Finally, one of the cashiers came back and greeted me to the station. I was expecting a certain level of service given the "Nordstrom" brand, but this seems more like Ross or TJ Maxx, and even they have a more welcoming vibe. Don't think I'll be back again. read more

I'm not a huge fan of the Rack. It's overwhelming having to go thru a ton of racks just to find a hidden treasure. I only go here for the shoes. I was hesitant to come here a few days after the grand opening but I just HAD to peep. It was kinda cray - so many people so if you're going to visit, be sure you eat beforehand and have a lot of patience. The parking situation is a pain. (whoever designed that wasn't very smart). Entrance in and out of the plaza was poorly designed and not enough parking spots. There were a lot of angry drivers with people stealing spots. As busy as it was, the associates in the lime green shirts were SO PLEASANT and accommodating, always going that extra mile to help a customer. Kudos to them for keeping their cool. I ended up finding at least 3-4 pairs of shoes. I'm a fan! Glad Nordies is here, just wish it was bigger. read more
