I like this Nordstrom rack because you can actually find stuff (clothes wise)! Most locations I have been to are always a mess and I can never find anything to my liking. But this location has a lot of cute clothes and shoes! Their second floor is literally a shoe library! The only downfall are their household decors.. They do not have much of a selection. Went to return over 1k of merchandise and arrived and waited in line at 6pm. After waiting and standing in the line to enter, 15mins pass. Then exits a staff member who comes to greet everyone at the back of the line and tells us that the store no longer closes at 7pm two days after the re-open stated on Yelp, but is now closed and we must go home or leave or just not wait in line. People in the front of the line were upset and argue about where they drove from and about how could this be and yadayada. I walked away and plan to return tomorrow hours before this location closes. Not sure if the staff wanted to go home early or if the COVID-19 is affecting the attitude of the staff. Everyone is in a funk, lost and confused, told what to do and nothing seems to make sense now. Sad, really but now the normal we live. Happy you guys are now open, thank you guys as well. read more

I've been to this NR a few times over the last 5 years...mostly for shoes and jeans. Sadly, I'm not a fan. It's... just alright. I give it 3 stars for these reasons; I cannot stand the layout! Can't stand it. It feels super cramped. Almost everything is on a circular rack making it extremely difficult to actually SEE the clothes. The Nordstrom Rack back in Miami only uses round racks for clearance items. Everything else is on straight racks so it can be separated into categories and it's easier to find your size. I do appreciate that they have SEVERAL racks of Joe's, Paige and Hudson jeans...my favorites. However, they are also poorly sorted. Tip: Come with plenty of time. Or try another NR. There's one in West Covina mall that I'm gonna check out soon. read more

I haven't been to the Pasadena Nordstrom Rack for over a year. Sadly it has changed. Previously the merchandise was displayed almost as nice as Nordstrom's but no longer. Everything is a jumbled mess. I couldn't find anything to even try on. I purchased a pair of sunglasses, but the displays were so confusing. Designer names were mentioned but the sunglasses didn't match the designers. Whoever is returning the items to the racks should be fired. read more

This place never fails to disappoint . Line is always long and always short staff. There hasn't been a section just for returns, they used to have one. Now you have to fall in line on the same cashier just to return which takes Forever. Thought Nordstrom has the best customer service but apparently not on this branch. Bad management and leadership! This place is one of the best Racks in Southern California!!! Amazing prices for what they have because the designer brands are really similar to the expensive high quality Nordstrom ones at nearly more than half off. Very clean, well-stocked, and organized in a spacious, three-story building. The salespeople are consistently useful and caring about me and their job. I keep coming back!!!!! I'm absolutely a major fan of Nordstrom's Rack and this location specifically. This location has 2 stories, neatly organized sections and a good sense of flow in the store. The dressing rooms are plentiful and they don't give you a ton of crap if you don't clean it out (which I am occasionally guilty of.) Lines go quick here and checkout is painless. The only drawback is small aisles that people tend to take up with their oversized strollers and pack of screaming children as you're trying to paw through designer jackets. Perhaps they can get someone in there with the airline glowsticks to keep them moving on course. Selection wise, I'm even moreso a fan of their deals. $250 True Religions on sale for $80? Sold. Adorable $55 Harajuka jewelry for $18. Oh yeah. These kinds of specials make my inner bargain shopper squeal with joy. This store has officially spoiled me as I jean shop in other stores. Do I want the same pair of jeans at Macy's when I can get it for at least 50% off in this location? Prob not. Just makes sense to come here first. read more

This is my favorite Nordstrom Rack, they have an array of items at a discount of the cost and is a very organized clean store.

Buyer beware! I bought a pair of jeans for $90 and the tag said they were originally $180 for a 50% off savings. Pretty good, right? Well when I get home I realize that the tag from the manufacturer is still on and the MSRP is $89. What?? Furthermore, I searched for the same jeans on nordstromrack.com and they were listed for $31. When I went into store I was told that the $180 is the amount Nordstrom rack purchased the jeans. Does this logic seem faulty to you?? Nordstrom rack is overpaying for merchandise and then claiming that we get a 50% savings when In fact we could get a cheaper price by just buying directly from the manufacturer. This makes ZERO sense. On top of that the manager Told me they don't do price adjustments so I would need to return my jeans at the store and then buy them again online to get the $31. Really unhappy with the customer service here :-( read more

1.21.10: I have been here a couple of times. Out of the times I have visited, the place is pretty organized. Their selection of clothes was just so so. This time that I have visited, I purchased a suitcase. I love the color and the fact that it is the kind that you can push it all around without having to use the handle. The suitcase was awesome; before I purchased it, I was using it while I stroll around the store. Besides the suitcase, what really caught my eye was their watch selection. It is nice and decently priced. They have all kinds of brands. I know they sell other things but for my taste I would come here again just to look around, and if something catches me eye like my lovely bluish suitcase then I will probably get it. No worries about finding the right size or looking for stuff in the right department. Place is neat and nicely organized. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is huge! And you can't go wrong with free parking! This NR shares a parking lot with a bunch of other stores, Famous Footwear, Best Buy, Mimi's Cafe, Starbucks, and a few others. The selection is quite big, and I could see myself spending hours and hours scouring for goodies, but alas, I didn't have that kind of time today... I was hoping for more designer dresses, saw a few BCBG ones, but nothing that stood out. Perhaps it isn't the right season? They had quite a few handbags (michael kors, kate spade, coach...), and they had a great make-up selection (stila and urban decay!). Rack, you've made more for Nordstroms while their regular store sales have dropped. Good job you! This location is decently organized with a nice selection of women's clothing. Their watch and sunglasses station is a bit lacking. The shoe section is decent, but there is much more to be had at the Costa Mesa location (probably due to it's distance from South Coast Plaza?). I've found Vera Wang Lavender label flats here for $99 on numerous occasions. They always have a nice selection of Tory Burch clothing and a great clearance section! read more

Doors don't open until 11am (the day I was hanging out in the shopping center) - I was semi-disappointed since it opens after many of the other stores that are already open and hour before. Oh well, gave me some time to visit other stores such as Tilly's and Old Navy. Both of which I haven't walked into in what seemed like FOREVER! Anyways, when the doors finally opened... more cars had pulled up - the place started to look crowded in the lot and its crazy, cause when I walked in, I thought I was going to be one of the first customers to be inside shopping, but there were already a BUNCH of people browsing, shopping in front and back of the store - some were already at the registers! (Crazy shoppers, jk). I wish I had money to spend - I was trying not to find anything... strictly just to browse. I did try on a pair of HUDSON jeans and I was debating whether or not to get them... one day I'll figure it out since they've been on my list of denim to own. Other than the jeans and handbags... I didn't really see anything here that caught my eye. The only other Nordstrom Rack I've ever been to in SoCal was the one in Chino Hills. I always found something I liked there... oh wait! I've also been to the one in Ontario Mills. I felt like this one didn't have as many brands/styles that appealed to me... I saw more styles that would probably cater more towards the older crowd? Nordstrom Rack is my favorite shoe store for all the trendy designer shoes at a very affordable price. In addition, to shoe I am also able to buy other name brands with affordable prices too. This location is the closest to me and I love how the parking is convenient and ample. I have been coming here for over 5 years and this location has 2 levels. So there are a tons of items to shop for. I buy all my work high heels here and never have an issue finding my size. I wear a size 5.5 to 6 and shopping for my shoe size is always a challenge since there are limited quantities of these sizes. Lucky I don't have any issues here and I usually come out with a few cute shoes. I love the service at this location. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They are all willing to go out of their way to assist. The lines are usually longer on weekends but they are efficient and I can get through the doors within 15 mins. Gotta check this location the next time you are in the area. read more

I really like this location, walking distance from my apartment and I found some amazing deals. I needed some new shoes and found 6 pairs. Yes 6 pair lol that I loved and had to have, I decided to open a credit card with Nordstrom today, all approved and good to go. Got my 6 pairs of shoes and I'm as happy as a bee in a field of flowers. Thomas was trhe most helpful person there. Nordstrom Rack used to be customer service oriented and employed ots of innovation to ensure excellent customer service, nowadays not so much. This location is often a mess and seldom prioritizes the customer. No assistance available on the floor and today we are faced with about 30 people standing in a long line. Three checkers-- with many other employees just standing around. I asked politely if they could open more registers and received a withering look in response. Then said he would call the manager and didn't follow through. I've had an armful of stuff and walked out many times before after seeing the line. I would imagine the goal is to sell the stuff? Norstrom Rack/online is the worse they blam all shipping issues on Covid and take your monies from your account before shipping, they're supposed to do that until they give tracking. I have called for my items, gone into the store and can't get a manager they won't update the site with order information so it's like you never placed order. One of my favorite places to shop, next to Nordstrom. Part of the reason is the selection they have and partly because my grandmother loved this store. :) I love it when I can come here and get $198.00 jeans for $40.00, or $200.00 shoes for $50. Who doesn't love those markdowns?! Sometimes the store is a little hectic, like today. A lot of people shopping and not a ton of cashiers ringing people up, so make sure that you have time to wait in line because you could spend more time doing that then actual shopping. They do have express check out lines if you're paying with a card and have 5 items or less. :) The employees are really nice and ready to help! For the most part the store is well organized and clean which makes looking through the racks not at all stressful. read more

I usually have a great experience here, but today was extremely disappointing, and I have never felt so mistreated in my life!! I was purchasing 2 items and returning 1 pair of jeans. The associate Julio, who handled my transaction was very friendly. For reason when he scanned the jeans for the return it showed on the system as already being returned. I knew that was impossible. I immediately checked my account while he called the manager on duty. I don't know her name but she was extremely rude. She looked at me and then the register and just believed all those incorrect transaction belonged to me. She was like " well we can't take them back you already returned them" without investigation. The associate next to the gentleman who was helping me told him to try entering the sku manually...and viola!! My account showed correctly! So the manager had no idea what to do or didn't want to help and decided to blame instead. Atrocious behavior!!! read more

This makes it easy for me to purchase on my Nordstrom app when I'm laying in bed after a cup of coffee. Loove all the finds here.. Maybe a little too much. Not only do we always find what we're looking for in particular and then some! So many brand names!!! And other more affordable things as well. I buy everything from clothes, accessories, gifts, hair products, and beauty products here! At a steal! They have super nice shoes too (a little pricey for my student budget.. But in the future). I can also get baby clothes here, always too cute. My most recent haul included $10 urban decay eye primer potion (normally $20!) and I'm super excited about my shiny new Michael Kors watch ($150, normally $300!). I've been looking forever for a gold watch and am too excited about finding one here. Yes it does get a bit messy though. What do you expect, girls like me to crazy in here. read more

I'm a fan! I found great deals and discounted brand clothing at Nordstrom Rack. It's a good place to shop for gifts for the whole family. I like coming here for holiday shopping and wardrobe basics, such as socks, undergarments, tanks, and tees. They also have discounted make-up and bath and body products, but watch out for the expiration dates. During busy times of the day, there was a long line at the fitting room. It's a pain. Although, the staff were generally helpful, and retrieved alternative sizes and colors of items for me when requested. On a recent visit, I noticed they downsized the number of check out registers and supposedly other reps around the store can process the purchases using a mobile device. However, this did not help alleviate the long line at the front registers. read more

Racks were picked through and some items had rips and closures missing, wow did it come like that or how forcefully were people trying these items on?! After a period of searching I found a handful of items for about the same price you can get at Ross but the material and make appears to be slightly better. Everyone likes ballin' on a budget. This wouldn't be possible without Nordstrom Rack! This place is 2 stories with the men's section on the 2nd floor. I was here looking to pick up a new pair of dress shoes and the selection here isn't bad at all. About the same as the one in Glendale but I felt there was more variety here than the other place. I even saw some Nike Air Max's and Jordans, no collector shoes or anything special so don't get too excited. Organization at the Pasadena location is also better....shoe boxes weren't sprawled out, clothes were neatly on racks, ties were in color order, etc. Not a great selection of tie clips here, about 2 wack designs to choose from. Some cuff links. Choice of ties here is much better than at TJ Maxx or Ross, but still not as much as you would find in the mall. You can pay for your items at random places in the store where employees carry an iTouch or something with an app/device that can swipe your credit card and print a receipt at a remote receipt printer. You cannot pay cash with these employees, for that you need to wait in line at the front of the store for a cash register. Overall a legit NR. I left 5 minutes before closing and never heard the "We are closing in 5 minutes, get the hell out of here so we can go home on time" announcement. read more

Frequent shopper here especially since it's right around the corner from Alice dog park and they have quite a few stores in this plaza and with my two shibas I'm always running to petsmart that's next to Nordstrom rack. So why am I giving this place a 2 star? Given that yes I tend to find some good deals here is why I'm even giving this place two stars. So why am I giving this place two stars? The fact that they will hire such rude people at all says ALOT. I bring my shibas everywhere that I can bring them too. And they are fully aware of how to get off and on a escalator with no problem. As I'm about to get on the escalator I see an employee coming up on the other side. She proceeds to SCREAM AT ME. Saying I'm a HORRIBLE pet parent. HOW DARE I TAKE THEM ON THE ESCALATOR. Do I not have any brains?! And that I must take them on the elevator. This Caucasian female in her late 40s with horrible red lipstick is screaming at a customer for getting on the escalator. And she proceeds to tell all the other customers around how bad I am. And how I can't do that. And how she knows best.......lady. Do you see me screaming at you for your horribly done red lipstick? Or the fact that you need to stop taking the escalator and maybe take the stairs? NO We all have our own opinions of people LADY. And you need to learn to keep your mouth shut. Next time you decide to scream at a customer. Maybe you should look at yourself first. Before you start judging others actions. read more

The staff here is so wonderful. I returned a wallet that I had for two days that was just too big and I forgot to take my security card for work out of it. I didn't realize it until I was about to go to bed that night. The store was closed, but I figured I'd call anyway. Not only did they pick up, but they spent their after hours time (which I'm sure they would've rather used to close up and go home) tracking down the wallet and retrieving the card for me. They had it waiting for me the next day. These are the types of experiences that are rare in business these days, and I can't thank the staff enough for genuinely caring about their customers. They truly went above and beyond. This is the kind of place I always hope to shop in, even if I'm not making a boneheaded mistake! read more

3.5 After dinner, we were trying to figure out what shops were still open. Luckily for us, we got to Nordstrom Rack an hour before closing. They're open until 9 p.m. most days. This Nordstrom Rack is brand new. They share a parking lot with many other stores so it can be crazy. It wasn't so bad last night though. It's two stories so we headed upstairs first to look at the shoes. I walked away with a pair marked half off which isn't super cheap but better than paying full price, right? Wait, 50% is pretty damn good! Next we went to look at the cocktail dresses. Good lord, where did these ugly dresses come from? Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. And more Ugly. I advise you to stay away from the horrific prints, lace and weird taffeta frocks they have going on in the back. Walking over to the make-up section, I was pleased to see Stila and Smashbox. Most packages didn't look torn or bashed up. I was wondering though why they had this huge Ed Hardy glassware section. Wine glasses, shooters and cups. Um, no. The handbags weren't interesting enough for me to check out. It's a rather small section. On my way to pay, I spotted the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack that I, I mean, my "niece" had to um, have. It was $11.95 which wasn't too crazy cheap but it was an impulse buy. They had a few other current CDs for sale as well. I guess CDs are the new candy to put near check-out lanes. I'd come back for the shoes and makeup but skipping everything else. read more
