Horrible customer service and slowest lines ever. No one helps you because they're too busy chatting with each other.

My first two stars review on yelp. Long and slow line. No separate line for return like Target, Costco or Walmart. You have to stay in the long line for return only. The staffs are not friendly and some of them are very slow. Looks like they are very unhappy working there. They give you a black face when you return your items. I will not come back here. I came here to make a return for a purchase I made Sunday that didn't work out. The women who helped me wasn't much help. I feel that I was being profiled to say the least. She wouldn't do my return because she said the item I had wasn't the correct item on the receipt and I would need to go back to the Glendale store to complete my return. She also told me they would need to look at the cameras from Sunday to ensure the purchase I made was correct and the item was tagged incorrectly by the cashier. I was shocked and frustrated. I hadn't taken the item out of the bag from when I purchased it Sunday and now I was going to have to make an extra stop (35mins drive) out of my way to go to Glendale. Nonetheless I made the drive to Glendale Nordstroms Rack and the cashier helped me super quickly. I explained to her what happened at the Nordstroms Rack in Arcadia and she even seemed confused. She said the item was correct on the receipt and I should have asked for a manager at the previous store. She did the return quickly and told me to be sure to ask for a manager next time. read more

Workers are rude and don't know what they're doing. I wanted to do an online return and asked for a gift card. The sales associate processed the return and asked their manager how to do a gift card, but it was too late and he already did it long. I got an unsympathetic sorry and just left. I usually go here when I need name brand clothes at a good price. The men's section is up stairs and they have a pretty good selection with the sizes I need. I used to buy my shoes here because they used to carry the Diesel brand ones. I went here on this occasion to return a Christmas gift since it was too small. I found a Nike golf jacket in my size so I selected that one. It was on sale too. The original tagged price was over $200 but marked down to $130 but on sale for $79. Minus the returned one plus a gift card, I only paid $18. What a deal..... read more

Very much agree if Nick's review. This is my second time going to this store since reopening. I first went last week and the manager closed store at 6 instead of 7 due to store capacity. Ok. I agreed with this since it was just reopened and there was a bog line. I drove today again since online it says that store closes at 8 pm. I arrived at 6:50 and security guard told myself and others that store closed at 6. On the doors there was a sign stating that store closes at 7. We asked for a manager and she said that she had to close early due to capacity. It doesn't look right! There was a big sale going on that ends today (40% off) and may be corporate told them to close early all these days to prevent customers buying merchandise cheaper or may be the manager wants to go home early. Idk. Other store like TJ Max, Marshall's and Ross handled this capacity issue really good and stayed open until the hours advertised. They also had sale and a BIG line. I'm very upset at Nordstrom. Cust svc here is the absolute WORST! Nordstrom are You trying to go out of business by losing all your customers one by one? Bc it's working! I went I to buy a watch, it was $400, not the priciest thing on the planet but I thought worth my business. I had the worst trouble getting someone to help me. And even though I specifically asked For help three times when the guy came back to help, finally, he helped someone else that had just showed up next to me! And when I said something, he said she was Here Before You! What am I invisible?? You already spoke to me twice here at this Very counter. His answer well what do you want from me? I'm in line with my stuff, I get called to checkout and when I put my stuff on counter -a return and 3 purchases, I realize I've now left my receipt in car. I went to go get it and the gal at checkout took the stuff I wanted to buy as well as one of the shoes I was to Return. Well couldn't find my rcpt in car-(it was at home! If you can believe it). But I went back in bc i realized I only had one of the shoes. The girl Would not Give it to me and said we'll where's you rcpt?? I said you just took my shoe not 5 mins ago!'I was Really GettingUpset. Then to top it all off, she says-get this-too bad I can't Help You. The stars that are given are for the large selection of items that they carry. Mainly because they also have a good designer section and toys section. But this place is chaotic. The layout of the store is two different floors but the women's shoes are upstairs while the women's clothes are downstairs. The escalator is in the front right by the cashiers so multiple people walk throughout the line to checkout to get to the escalators. It's so many items that everything is kind of everywhere. If there is a long line, it is confusing to some because two people tried to cut in front of me because they didn't know where the line ended. Not their fault because there is really no direction. I'll come back but definitely not when it's busy. It will have to be during the week early when it's not so many people and cleaner. They do have masks and hand sanitizer at the front which I appreciate. read more

We came into nordstrom at to buy some different items before we went home and i must give credit where credit is due. We were tired and maybe short tempered but were very pleased to have met a young lady by the name of Julia as we looked at the jewelry and almost bought a watch. She was very helpful and went out of her way to help us even though my wife was a little rude at first. Julia stayed patient and kind keeping it professional as it should be. I love great deals. I love nice quality items at a good price, and if you know me...I love TJ Maxx. Now, Nordstrom Rack is definitely more expensive than TJ Maxx, but also carries better designer items and slightly better quality too. The place always seems to be nicely organized when I go there so it's easy to find what I like without feeling frustrated. The good folks who work there seem friendly and helpful as well. My favorite part here is the purse section! SO much more organized and neat than any TJ Maxx I've been to! If you buy things from Hautelook.com, you can easily return your item here. I've done that only once, but it was a very quick and painless process. The only thing is that once you return it, they can't check to see if there's extra inventory in the store to exchange the size. This is understandable. I'd say that the worst part of this place is waiting. I'm not sure why, but every time I'm there, the line is up to the 2nd pillar with maybe 3 cashiers only. I'm sure they're doing the best they can, but hmm.....prepare to wait if you're not lucky. Overall, this is a great store to find nice items at pretty good prices. I've not run into anything too outrageous here yet *knocks on wood* so I'm still set on coming back here every once in a while. This store sucks. I guess I'm confused about what Nordstrom Rack is or maybe Nordstrom Rack is confused about what they are. It appears to be a discount store along the lines of a TJ Maxx or a Saks outlet. But many of their prices are the full prices that you would pay at a regular Nordstrom. My nephew saw a pair of Vans here for $60, he looked on the Vans website and saw the same shoe for $40. An Exfolikate facial scrub mini is $28, it's also $28 at regular Nordstrom and Sephora. And how fresh is it? Why would I buy what could possibly be old stock here when I could go to Sephora and buy it brand new and get points, samples, etc? Those are just two examples but I saw a lot of "discounted" items that weren't discounted at all. And the entire shoe section is absolutely ghastly. It's massive but not one single shoe that was remotely cute. A lot of crappy brands I've never heard of at prices that weren't great. I see no point in shopping here. read more

This is a two stories, newer Nordstrom Rack so everything is still nice and organized. Plenty for parking so you don't have to fight to get a parking space. The first thing I did was checking out the shoes collection for some designer zapatos. They carry Coach, Stuart Weitzman, Badgley Mischka, Tory Burch, and Cole Haan. One thing I like about this store is how the keep the shoes inside the boxes. Not just designer shoes have boxes..all the shoes. I prefer going to Costa Mesa Nordstrom Rack for shoes. This is my favorite Nordstrom Rack in southern California, and that's saying something! I thought it would be Costa Mesa, but when looking at my buying habits and finds, this store shines. Where else can you find Burberry pants for less than $100.00 and in my size too! Other nice items to pick up are shampoo, cologne, luggage and shoes, to name a few. For you women, my daughter scores well here too, finding size 5 shoes with 5" heals in her color of glossy grey. My most recent finds include narrow ties, Calvin Klein everything, and Sperry boat shoes for the no socks look. They tell me as you grow older, you need to think younger! I think this November is 10X Nordstrom points around Black Friday, so save up your money and make your Christmas list now for the giant Rack points opportunity. Never have I gained so many points for such small purchases. read more

Rack rack rack!! i love the rack! When I am bored, want to blow some $$ I come here! There is always a bunch of different goodies to find at this place. Lotions, shoes, clothes, makeup, sunglasses, etc. the list goes on and on. Every time I come here, it's a must for me to leave with something, anything! The stuff here is mainly the stuff you would find at Nordstrom but because either things are out of season, a stitching is off (like I would notice), or just not up to the standard of selling it at Nordstrom, that is fine by me, most items seem to be about half of the price of the normal tag! Stopped in to do a little shopping and take back some Nordstrom.com purchases. I love that the Rack is able to process most Nordstrom returns, pure convenience! Another thing I'm thrilled about is even though they still have the traditional lines to check out, no more standing in line if you don't want to! Look for someone with a bright green t shirt anywhere on the sales floor and they will ring you up or process your returns with their i phone technology. Priceless! Not a 5 star review because I don't love having to pay $7.95 shipping to have an item sent to me if the size or color I am looking for is not in store but has to be sent from another store. read more

This is definitely one of the better Nordstrom Racks out in the LA area. It doesn't get as crowded as the other stores and they seem to have a good inventory of items. Of course since this is their store where they sell discounted/returned items the selection here is going to be hit or miss. Nordstrom Rack should be treated like a thrift store, go in take a peek and see if theres anything you like. If you don't move on, its best to just come in and browse for a bit to see if they have anything you want or need on a regular basis, rather than coming here infrequently and spending a large block of time trying to find some gems. I speak of this for the men's section. I have no idea about the womens section. Also if you're on the second floor, it is not an earthquake.... its just the building shaking (why I have no idea). Pro tip ......... if theres a long line try to find one of the employees with the a green shirt they should be able to point you to another employee with a mobile scanner that can ring you up anywhere in the store so you don't have to wait in line. read more

Even though this Nordstrom Rack isn't on the popular side of town it still rocks out pretty well. Still pretty new of a store opened for a few years now and man does it have a lot of nice stock in all the time. I don't live in Pasadena anymore but for some reason I end up coming over to this area quite a bit to do some hunting for clothes, shoes and bags. Yes a girls dream is almost like the movie Clueless... Parking is as easy as possible you don't really need to circle around and around to find them unless you are going during holiday peak time. The lines are a drag but I don't mind waiting in them for all the deals that I get from my hunting. If you have ever been to Nordstrom Rack is is pretty much like TJ Maxx, Marshalls and all those stores but they do sell brands that are a little bit more on the high side and can dent your wallet just a little bit more. I rarely go to Pasadena, but I wanted to check this NR out to see if they had any Rebecca Minkoff bags. I was content to see ONE at this location even though I didn't buy it since it wasn't the style I was looking for. (So a Red Ostrich Beau shoulder bag is still hanging on the hanger if you're interested!) This was also the first 2 story NR I've seen. The shoes are SO neatly organized upstairs and they're in pairs! Not like the jumbled mess of single soles on the shelves like the Costa Mesa one. Overall very neat, clean, and a lot of selection. I saw really cute printed jeans but I wasn't going to drop down $90 for 'em. I never could find clothes that I deemed "worth it" to plop down a wad of cash for at a NR. It's always either been purse hunting, or their makeup deals for Urban Decay and Stila. Oh yea, and shoes. It's in a plaza where Old Navy, XI Clothing (kinda like a cheaper F21), Ross, Famous Footwear, Dick;s Sporting Goods are also at, so you can easily spend at least half a day here shopping :) I did end up buying a cute peach stone bracelet though! Nordstrom's rack is pretty much hit or miss when it comes to purchasing clothing. I should probably qualify that statement by saying that I'm 6'3", 240#. This means that the vast majority of the skinny jeans style clothing they offer here do not fit an athletic guy like me. Not that there's anything wrong with having a 14 inch neck when you purchase your dress shirts... It's just that big guys like me might enjoy wearing some lavender pinstripe thing too. Or not. All that to say, occasionally I can find some dress socks here on the cheap. I've also gotten lucky a few times and found some shirts that didn't make me want to beat myself up. But truth be told, I could probably do the same functions at Burlington Coat Factory, and save half the money. Of course, that would require me to actually go into Burlington Coat Factory, which is never going to happen. So I guess I'll have to keep buying my professional wear elsewhere. That or lose about 80 pounds in my thighs, chest, and back. Seriously, I had one of those Bruce Banner Incredible Hulk moments trying on pants here, and were it not for the fact that the snippy saleslady probably would have made me buy them, I would've torn out the seams just by moving. One of the better Racks for guys clothing. With two stories of space, they were able to allot the majority of the upstairs for men. A decent bowtie collection also bumps them up on my list. Customer service associates have always been nice ... though sometimes hard to find/get ahold of. Great selection; no employee efficiency. 6 registers with the slowest moving cashiers ever. Only one guy was moving people through...another lady was dealing with a customer problem...BUT the others were either chatting with each other or chatting with customers. Customer service is important, but so is getting people rung up in a timely manner. And lady who I think might be a manager: after I wait 20 minutes in line downstairs, DON'T tell me that I should've checked out upstairs!!! Why didn't you announce over the intercom that we have the option to do that?? I had no need to go upstairs so I had no idea it was even an option. Stop standing there behind the register observing and get your wandering employees to help ring people up. Will give it another shot...but you guys need to work more efficiently and COMMUNICATE with your shoppers. read more

Same as any other Nordstrom Rack. Its a hit and miss thing, so go often. CRAPPY services. The cashiers don't know how to use there cash registers. And if you want to return something... "god help you". Cause none of the employee here has a clue as what their job is. Congratulations to management for running this location into the ground. I went in... the employee looked it up and told me that I had already returned the item and SHE was going to keep what I had just brought in. I told her to get her manager. After 15 mins, it was discovered the employee had called up only my return and NOT my purchases. PROBLEM solved; however, how can a Nordstrom Rack return cashier employee be so ludicrous in their speed. This employee effectively attempted theft of person property. I urge the administration/management of this store location to investigate this matter and deal consequence as needed. Termination would not be unreasonable. read more

Went to return over 1k of merchandise and arrived and waited in line at 6pm. After waiting and standing in the line to enter, 15mins pass. Then exits a staff member who comes to greet everyone at the back of the line and tells us that the store no longer closes at 7pm two days after the re-open stated on Yelp, but is now closed and we must go home or leave or just not wait in line. People in the front of the line were upset and argue about where they drove from and about how could this be and yadayada. I walked away and plan to return tomorrow hours before this location closes. Not sure if the staff wanted to go home early or if the COVID-19 is affecting the attitude of the staff. Everyone is in a funk, lost and confused, told what to do and nothing seems to make sense now. I've been to this NR a few times over the last 5 years...mostly for shoes and jeans. Sadly, I'm not a fan. It's... just alright. I give it 3 stars for these reasons; I cannot stand the layout! Can't stand it. It feels super cramped. Almost everything is on a circular rack making it extremely difficult to actually SEE the clothes. The Nordstrom Rack back in Miami only uses round racks for clearance items. Everything else is on straight racks so it can be separated into categories and it's easier to find your size. I do appreciate that they have SEVERAL racks of Joe's, Paige and Hudson jeans...my favorites. However, they are also poorly sorted. Tip: Come with plenty of time. Or try another NR. There's one in West Covina mall that I'm gonna check out soon. read more

A pretty decent Nordstrom Rack branch, I felt that although it was a really big store, there wasn't that much selection in styles or sizes. Then again, there are no other Nordstrom Racks nearby so there is not too much to compare this store to, but overall I wasn't very satisfied with the choices in clothes here. That being said, it was relatively well organized and the store wasn't THAT full, so it's pretty neat and well kept. One other complaint I would have of this store is just that there were not many registers open. Therefore, even though there weren't too many people in the store it took a while to get checked out. The parking situation, however, is really nice because it shares a huge parking lot with a bunch of other shops, and I feel like you can always find parking somewhere. read more

I haven't been to the Pasadena Nordstrom Rack for over a year. Sadly it has changed. Previously the merchandise was displayed almost as nice as Nordstrom's but no longer. Everything is a jumbled mess. I couldn't find anything to even try on. I purchased a pair of sunglasses, but the displays were so confusing. Designer names were mentioned but the sunglasses didn't match the designers. Whoever is returning the items to the racks should be fired. read more

Needless to say someone had not done their hourly check on the bathrooms. They were out of paper towels as well. The dressing room staff unfriendly. There was no greeting. Just "How many?" Really? Amazing prices for what they have because the designer brands are really similar to the expensive high quality Nordstrom ones at nearly more than half off. Very clean, well-stocked, and organized in a spacious, three-story building. The salespeople are consistently useful and caring about me and their job. I keep coming back!!!!!
