I always find such great pieces in this store... of course great quality, unique and great prices... always my go to for a great pair of jeans or shoes... also a great selection of evening wear... customer service is always great, fast friendly service and even though the lines can be long they love pretty fast... they also provide check out at multiple spots throughout the store for fast and easy check out... love this location!.... OH parking will be a pain in the butt... but if you are familiar with this plaza that's nothing new and it's worth the hassle in my opinion.... read more

It's great for women, since they have a large selection encompassing 80% of the store. Like a red-headed stepchild, the men's section is limited...even more limited if you're not at least 5'-10" and wear a shoe size 10 or bigger. I did however, find some great deals on shoes, which would have been 3X as much if I paid regular retail. There were also Hugo Boss tuxedos in my size for less than what most name brand suits cost. Too bad I have only needed a tux for Senior Prom....many many moons ago and I don't see any black tie affairs in my near future. I'll be back to scavenge what I can. Even though great finds for me are few and far in between, they are occasionally worth it. I wish that the Nordstrom Rack had the same ambiance as the regular Nordies. This is the weakest of the Nordstrom Rack locations in the Bay Area though it seems to have improved on a recent visit. I go to the different locations to check out how the selection differs and I have the least luck in San Leandro. I've never scored a great find here. The kid's department is larger than the Colma location though (SF doesn't have a kid's department). They just received a new shipment of designer shoes including Gucci, Bruno Magli, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Burberry and Car Shoe. Go now if you love shoes! In terms of clothes and good finds, this store is a hit and miss. If you have the time to look through everything then it is definitely worth it. In terms of customer service, this store is a DISASTER. I have had several instances where I have had troubles at the register because they cannot figure out my return. Recently, I had items shipped to me for Christmas and then went in store to return the items that were shipped after Christmas...to my surprise they told me that my items had already been returned and they asked me for my I.D. and if I was even who I was saying I was. They called security and the guard stood next to my register while I continued to show my shipping confirmations and receipts. All in all, they kept the items and asked me to leave and call customer service if I wanted help. In the end, I was given a refund and told I would be contacted by managers from this store by the district manager over the phone. NEVER HAPPENED. Turns out the woman who was helping me at the register had already returned my items but there was an error in printing my receipt. When she called manager to help, that's when they told me I couldn't be given a refund because these items were already returned...by the other woman. I will definitely never go back to this store nor do I recommend it to anyone else. read more

There's a very good reason why I don't bother shopping for clothes at Ross. When you walk in, you're bombarded by yellow and green plastered mu'u mu'us draped from wall to grimy floor. Instantly, you're reminded of the "Mom Jeans" commercial from SNL: "I'm not a woman anymore... I'm a MOM... Mom Jeans!! Mom Jeans!!" There should be a law against jeans with elastic waistbands... Anyway, Nordstrom Rack (or "Norrack," as I just started calling it), is nothing like Ross. Most of the clothing is wearable, and of reasonable quality. You won't have to wait in line or fight with fat ghetto heffers to score some decent threads. Check out my pics (and please, feel free to give me more "cute pics." I'm unreasonably low on that one..). The "vintage" lion shirt i'm wearing cost $20. I saw it at regular Nordstrom (or "Regstrom") a week later for $40... and that ain't not unbad. How do I know it's a good shirt? A black guy at Costco complimented me profusely on it. If popular media has taught me anything, it's that black people are experts on "cool." Dog friendly - 4 Shopping deals - 5 ++++ What could be better than finding a deal but finding a deal with your pooch? This entire shopping plaza is pet friendly - not one store (except for Quiznos and Panda Express) have a "no dog" sign out front. Note that I didn't shop with a 100 lb dog. Josie was carried into the store in her little bag and never made a peep. She did jump out of the bag a few times when I had to put her down so I could try on some rockin' Kate Spade pumps ($109 by the way). read more

Disclaimer: This review was written by a straight man. After my race yesterday I was supposed to go to a friend's house for an early dinner. I told her I was gonna be a little late because I had to "take care of something." I didn't bother to mention that "something" meant going to Nordstrom Rack to look for sale jeans. Now I'm not some crazy shopper-type that drives all over town to save 10 cents on onions. This is half-off on jeans that normally cost more than a Las Vegas hooker! So yes I did drive all over town looking at two Racks... Nordstrom Racks. This one was much neater than the one in SF. It still feels like walking into Ross' but who cares, I just want to save a few bucks. After looking at what must literally be a hundred jeans over two days, I can honestly say.... even "premium jeans" companies make lots of UGLY AXX JEANS! Why don't the cool lookin' stuff end up at Rack? But I did find a pair of shoes here that were half the price of similar shoes I bought at the real Nordstroms. Yeah, I was damn proud of myself. I got that endorphin rush. Now I know why women are so sale crazy, its damn addictive. So come here if you're trying to find a golden needle in a giant haystack of ugly axx rejects that nobody else wants. You can save a few bucks but it will cost you lots of time. Sometimes it feels as though I can try on dozens and dozens of jeans and not find one that feels good and looks good with the right wash. Yesterday, I walked in, picked ONE pair off the rack, tried on the ONE pair and no others ... and promptly fell in love with them and bought them. Today, I'm still smiling. Nordstrom Rack is now my favorite place to buy jeans. A month ago, I purchased a pair of jeans at the Nordstrom Rack in Colma. Maybe next month, I'll buy a pair downtown SF? Or maybe I should take a break. As a side note, I also FOUND my perfect red boots -- not in my size, but I have all the specs, so I'm going to try to find them online. I also tried on a pair of shoes that made me feel so happy, but they had a ridiculous similarity to clown shoes -- Keen canvas shoes in lilac with dark purple polka dots -- REALLY? Terrific deals piled under last years wrong-size-tagged, weird-color, missing a button whatever-that-is. I've found stuff that makes my hair shiny, my nose matte and my butt (look) smaller. This is one of the outlet stores that REALLY sells overstock from the mother-store, not just cheaper versions of what you go to Nordies to find. So you WILL find some bargains and be happy when you get them home. The only REAL problem with this place is you will probably find a PERFECT pair of shoes here then search endlessly to find some more. They only have what they have and it changes all the time. If you find treasures this time, Hoo-Rah! Don't count on magic every time or you will be disappointed. Remember, ladies: This is the same shopping center as Ann Taylor, Eileen Fisher, Talbots and 9 West outlets so don't blow all of your allowance at The Rack. read more

This store is very well kept. It is pretty busy, and the clothes are always very organized and clean. The changing rooms are nice and empty with not a lot of clothes left in there when you go into a room. The clothes they have there are from name brand items down to the regular name brand clothing. There are endless possibilities at this store for new outfits. One thing I like the most is that when it is time to check out there might be a long line, but they have many check out stands so the line goes down super quick! read more

I really like Nordstrom Rack, but the service at this one blew-- hard. From my experience, Nordstrom Racks can typically have very long lines, but last Sunday night's line was miraculously inexistent. I thought my boyfriend and I had gotten lucky because of this. He and I were making two separate purchases, so we both stood in line and waited for a cashier to call us over. There were 5 employees at the register that night. That's right: FIVE. They were all in their lime green t-shirts, which I assume were part of their uniform. One of them was leaning across from the customer's side of the counter to chitchat with another employee. As my boyfriend and I waited in line for at least five minutes, I noticed that not a single one of the associates at the register had glanced in our direction... until the one choppin' it up looks over at us and tells me, "Uh, the line starts over THERE." She doesn't point. "Oh. Where exactly?" I asked. "BEHIND YOU." So I took a small step back. "NO. Not there," she says. I took an even tinier step back. "Yeah. THERE." To which she proceeded to roll her eyes and turn back around to continue choppin' it up with her co-worker. WHAT. THE. FUUUUU Was that even necessary? Ms. Attitude was telling me that my boyfriend and I weren't officially in line because we were two tiny steps away from where she claimed the line was? I'm a regular Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack shopper, so this wasn't my first rodeo; it's not like I had never stood in a line at this store before. Not one of those 5 cashiers at the register were assisting other customers-- or one another-- but we still had to wait for God knows what before they would ring us up. They continued to ignore us for another five minutes while they did absolutely nothing. Those extra 5 minutes felt like an eternity. They didn't even try to look busy. A couple of them looked at us and then looked away. Were we ghosts? Was David Copperfield lingering behind the stash of nail polish for sale and, if so, did he make us disappear? I've worked in retail for years, and their behavior would have been considered unacceptable at every establishment I've worked at. The "deals" at the Rack aren't worth allowing yourself to be ignored. Time is money. Respect yourselves and don't tolerate this petty bullshit from anyone. read more

Patience is a virtue. Patience is also being able to shop at Nordstrom Rack. You have to be a true bargain hunter to navigate through this store. There are tons of clothing and accessory options and it can be tedious and daunting if you haven't properly prepared, so here's my "Surviving Nordstrom Rack Shopping Guide": 1. Pee BEFORE you start shopping. There's nothing worse than having to go once you've entered the dressing room, and then having to do the pee pee dance while you try on your clothes. 2. Eat BEFORE you start shopping. This will prevent you from (a) thinking the scented candles remind you of food and (b) save you from making bad decisions like the Panda Express next door. 3. Have a plan. You will be overwhelmed if you don't know what you're looking for. It you need slacks, don't wander around the shoe department trying on flats. 4. Set your cell phone alarm. Among my best finds: - $25 for KORS by Michael Kors wedge sandals, a necessary wardrobe staple (normally $195!). - $80 for patent peep-toe wedges in the most gorgeous candy apple red by my biggest shoe designer crush, Stuart (Weitzman for those of you not on a first-name basis). Originally, $250. These are quality shoes, ladies--this purchase marks my third pair of "Stuarts" (p.s. I've never paid full price. EVER). I feel like I'm wearing sneakers when I'm out on the town in these babies. - $35 for strappy black nylon pumps by BCBG Girls that look way more expensive than they really are. Yes, I admit it, I'm a snob when it comes to shoes, but don't even try to give me sh*t about my shoe fetish. Every pair of shoes I own has been love at first sight, and how can you argue with that? Also here by the truckloads? Seven, J Brand, True Religion and Hudson jeans, Theory pantsuits, cashmere sweaters, and much much more. Bargain shopping is a sport. Just so you know. It involves precision attention to detail, physical strength, stamina, flexibility and a tough mental game to step up to the challenge. This is the ultimate competition and the winner earns the pinnacle of spoils: the hottest outfit for the least $$$ Whatever. I hate sports and I can't do this store. My mental game pretty much collapsed into a pathetic heap the moment that I stepped inside. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely some deals to find in there. But the whole process of digging around through piles and piles of uninspiring non-potentials is depressing, not to mention bleak. Call me inflexible, but given the fluorescent "atmosphere" of the place, I felt that if I'm to shop here, I should be getting STEALS. Not just deals, STEALS! Out of the 500 pairs of shoes that I ogled between sz 6 and 8... the one pair that was marginally hot was $200. What is UP with that? I'm at the RACK. Shouldn't there be a law against that happening? There shall not be any no-name-shoes selling for over $75 in an off-retail store with bad ambiance! E.g., this past weekend, I found the CUTEST gold strappy heels ever (for $35 bucks - markdown from $90 at Nordstrom's! I know b/c I saw them before). Sarah Jessica Parker would be proud. You gotta go in there and be creative. You will most likely not find what you are looking for. BUT, you will find some other cool ass crap. I got a set of 500-thread count sheets and they were $50! Very cheap compared to the department stores. Sure, it's ghetto. Sure, it's a jungle in there. But hey! That's why it's cheap. If it were as neat as Nordstrom's, you'd pay 3X as much. Definitely many steps up from Ross. Just set aside 2-3 hours and GUARANTEED, you'll find something so cute your friends won't believe you got it at an outlet! I'm going to wear my gold strappy heels this weekend. Thank you very much! P.S. I hate to reveal this little known secret, but Nordstrom Rack has the best purses! You can't deny the feeling of victory when you get a good buy-something so ridiculously discounted that it seems illegal...but then you realize that you just wasted 4 hours of your life navigating a sea of other people's mess of crap. Let's not forget the rude customers with that crazy look in their eyes (i.e. You better move your head if it's in front of that left shoe because that woman will remove your eye Kill Bill style if you are not fast enough!). I almost called FEMA! This could have easily been a scene from a Zombiepocalypse. About 3 hours into my canvasing the store for work clothes (definitely could have used a Gatorade) I came to the conclusion that...its not worth it! Give me 1 hour at a regular Nordstroms and the other 3 sipping tasty beverages at my casa. I'd rather drop $80 on a shirt for work that's clearly high in engineering awesomeness than some reject crap that's a 'deal' at $60. I left with a headband (see below) and a pair of patterned tights. Also what's up with the makeup/toiletries section here? Yea I will pay $10 for cracked eyeshadow...really? The cashiers are nice. All other employees might be buried under clothes mounds because you can't find them roaming the store, especially if you're looking for the mate for that shoe(ha to you zombie lady!). That's of course only if you can make it down one of those aisles without rolling your ankle on the gazillion shoes clearly not on the rack. Is that what moms instruct their bored kids to do--throw all of the mediocre and overpriced deals on the floor? Can I please get the mate to the suede shoe that's been stomped on, rolled over by a shopping cart, and had some type of direct sunlight to discolor it? Thanks. P.S. My understanding is that Nordstrom Rack is the place for the overstock and/or phunked up items that don't quite make it to a regular Nordstrom -- hence, they're substantially cheaper, though still not as dirt-cheap as Ross or Marshall's. I am not feelin' it. In general, I think conspicuous consumption is crap, but if you're gonna do it, go to a place where you can have a pleasant shopping experience, and pay more instead of being THAT faux-bulous. On the rare occasion that I'd have the patience to sift through a bunch of frenzy and disarray, I'd rather do the Ross or Marshall's where the price better matches the misery of the experience. I used to LOVE shopping at Nordstrom Rack, but since their popularity grew over the years, their prices have soared. Here is a list of pros and cons for this Nordstrom Rack. Pros: Good hours, open until 8 or 9 pm on weekdays. Shoe Heaven. They carry boats, i mean larger sized shoes(for women), Up to size 12! You'll find good deals once in a while. I've purchased a nice sweater here for $12. Who cares if cashiers arent friendly or courteous. They are fast, efficient, and will get the 2 mile long lines moving! Convenient, I live down the street! Beats going all the way to downtown san francisco. Ample Parking- Music to my ears!! Cons: No discounts for defective items. I'm talking about clothes missing sleeves, not just buttons and they will actually sell them and not give a discount! $12 alteration? I'll refer you to an excellent seamstress who charges 2 dollars less for SAME DAY service! Plus, Nordstrom offers their alteration FREE of charge if the item is purchased from the store. Cheap? NO! Expensive! Other than their designer line : Sevens, True, Rock and Republic, Paige, etc, you can find the other stuff elsewhere for at least $10-$20 cheaper. For example, i was eyeing this pair of boots on Overstock $64.99, saw the same exact pair at Nordstrom Rack for $79.99. * I've also seen something costing over $1000 at this ahem*outlet * store. They only put out one sample shoe on the racks so that means countless people have tried on that sample shoe, and if you want to purchase that shoe, they will match the other shoe with your sample shoe. They won't bring out a fresh pair from behind because their shoes are matched up with those worn samples on the racks. Weekends are CROWDED. All my asian Peepo come to this location because they all want a good bargain. *I counted 4 asian family reunions at this nordstrom rack last sunday. Here's my advice when shopping at Nordstrom Rack: DON'T! Save your time and energy driving to other outlets! Nut Tree in Vacaville offers excellent designer bargains! If I had to choose one word to describe the San Leandro Nordstorm Rack it would be DISAPPOINTING! First of all the parking was hell. Was it just a fluke? Or maybe everyone is Christmas shopping already? Or perhaps it was because Shoe Pavillion is going out of business. Whatever it is, I had to circle around and around and it took like 15-20 minutes to find a spot. I was determined to shop though and went in and immediately found 2 Alexander Wang cashmere sweaters marked down from $395 to about $40. Wow! I was so psyched, I thought I was being rewarded for my persistence in finding a parking spot. Unfortunately I discovered that one of the sweaters was pilling and the other had a snag. Okay, even at 90% off, I couldn't buy it. That was pretty much how the rest of my shopping went. Found a $25 Rebecca Taylor dress...with missing appliques. Then a Diane Von Furstenbrug...with a missing belt. Damn, I was so disappointed! Don't think I'm a Nordstrom Rack hater though, because the ones in Southern California rock my socks off. I just don't think I'll be making much of an effort to come back to this one in San Leandro in the future. read more

I just finished writing a review bashing the Rack in Colma because it's a ghetto hellhole that looks like a tornado went through it. The SL Rack is much, MUCH better. I used to live in San Leandro and this place is truly one of the very few redeeming qualities about it (other than super cheap housing within relative close proximity to SF). This is in a mini outdoor mall right off of 880 and includes outlets for Old Navy, Eddie Bauer, Ann Taylor, Nine West and Talbot's. There's also a Marshall's, Shoe Pavilion and, of course, Starbucks. Overall, I love the Rack which is basically a TJ Maxx for miss/mr fancy pants. Think of a designer and you can pretty much know that they'll have something - it might have a hole in the pit and cart marks down the back, but they'll have it. This place on a Wednesday afternoon is absolute bliss. No crowds, no crazy bitches, no huge messes or piles, no long lines at the fitting rooms. The shoe selection is outstanding and priced okay. If you go on the weekend, be prepared to stand in line for a long, loooong time. Pee first. read more

Armed with my lust for top of the line clothes by some of the most notable desingers in the business while not wanting to amass debt that would rival the cost of America's latest war, I embarked on my first ubersexual male mission- entrance into Nordstrom Rack. I expected a store like Ross where organization is abandoned for the sake of price breaks. What I found was something altogether different. The store is neatly arranged and divided so that if you are searching for something that you can assign to a specific category, then you will find that area of the store and the item with ease. I expected that all of the items on sale at Nordstrom Rack would be those that were outdated by a couple of years thus the price reduction. I am pleased to say this is a myth that is happily put to rest. A few examples. I was looking for a tie for friend. The ties were arranged neatly on about 7 tables in the business wear section. The tie selection alone was impressive with items available from Ermenegildo Zegna, Joseph Abboud, DKNY, and HUGO BOSS. The number of designers present in ties sparked my interest so I shifted over to suits and sport coats. In this section, I found some real gems. There were several jackets/suits by Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Alfani, and Kenneth Cole. The real killer came when I had to resist the Burberry overcoat that fit perfectly but still rang in at a jaw dropping $569- a quarter of the coat's normal retail cost. After I snapped back to reality and remembered that I was there to buy gifts for others and not myself, I overcame the internal struggle and left. My favorite pair of Birkenstock Boston clogs were purchased here more than 4 years ago. They're now so stinky that I've been forced to retire them, because I can't handle the stench without the window rolled down. For the most part, they live in the back of my closet with the rest of my old shoes. Fear not, they still get to come out of the closet sometimes! I came here to look for my favorite pair of underwear that they no longer sell at Nordstrom. They started making them in an organic cotton, but I like 88% nylon, 12% spandex kind better. I was able to locate a few pairs, but none in my size. I looked through the shoe section but didn't find anything I liked. I ended up leaving the shoe area with 2 pairs of Nike dri-fit socks ($4.90) that are still $7.00 on nike.com and 2 packs of Adidas socks (6.97 for 2 pairs). Also, lots of Nordstrom Intimates underwear for $2.97 which I've paid $10+ at Nordstrom. The best thing of all is that the guy who rang me up spoke perfect English and could rap pretty well. I asked him to look up my favorite underwear and he did, even though there was a long line behind me. Another Rack supposedly has 13 pairs, so I'm going there tomorrow. read more

The upper class version of Ross! This place is a nightmare. If you call shopping off the floor, stampeding to get in the place when the store first opens, dealing with rude employees and customers, waiting in a line that stretches to the back of the store, and having your blood pressure shoot up cool.........Then I guess it's cool. Otherwise the selection here is good as long as it's not missing a piece. I've been to other Nordstrom rack locations and those were fine. ATMOSPHERE: The Fremont location is less of a mess. SERVICE: is decent, they're usually very patient and friendly. PRICES: are more affordable than the regular Nordstrom. If you're willing to spend the time to look for the perfect outfit, you'll be more than likely to find it...but it'll definitely take time. I would say that the prices here are similar to stores like F21 if you're lucky. QUALITY: They have a large variety of everything...from handbags to baby clothes to men suits/ties to women's shoes...they have everything for the whole family...watches, lingerie, even face wash...but since this store is a mess, the quality of their items usually go down because things are left on the floor...hung all over the place...everything is just a mess. The shoe section makes me want to cry sometimes because I would find one perfectly good shoe, but the other would be a mess because it was placed in to the rack with too much force. It'd suggest going to the Fremont location if you come out frustrated from this Nordstrom Rack. read more

Long lines but usually quick (listen for the bells!), but make sure you have some patience before coming here, especially during the holidays. Park behind the stores if you don't mind a little walking and less hassle. Also, don't come here expecting to find anything specific. They generally do a good job of sectioning based on size but you'll still need to look around. Can't beat the prices on men's designer dress shirts and ties when you need it. The shoe section makes you feel like you're at a goodwill, or someone had a nasty foot fetish cuz alot of those jawns are pretty tore up and not exactly cheap for the condition it's in. Denim selection is ok, but more beads and shit than classic, simple designs. But anything is better than paying full price... read more

I go here because Nordstrom has amazing bras. The prices, however, are astronomical. You might think this is not really a concern, but girls who actually have chests men dream of are paid by having a very difficult time buying bras. I guess small women decide to punish us. But they are paid by being able to run without whiplash. Snots. I go and troll the racks of the Rack for that which holds my own rack. I often find an 85 dollar bra for 15- 30 bucks. This is quite satisfying. However minus one star for no longer carrying Freya brand bras. read more

Love, Love this Nordstrom Rack. I am actually glad I have to drive 20 mins to get to it, because I'd spend way too much money if it was closer. They always have great stuff and lots of sizes. Also an amazing shoe selection. If you look hard you can find some real great deals, It make's it hard for me to justify shopping at the regular Nordy's! The employees' are sweet, the place is kept tidy and the lines move quickly. Best time to go is right when they open, but even then it fills up quickly. read more

Went here for the first time last week. Wide variety of stuff. I left with a $50 pair of hot Sofft sandals, $20 super cute Calvin Klein shirt, $8 Neutrogena sunscreen and two Calvin Klein pillows for $9 each. Not bad. I was a little disappointed at first. The real good stuff was still up there around $80 or so, and when I feel cheap, I generally don't pay over $30 for much. So I passed on a lot of good stuff. The shoes were an exception. They were too cute to pass up. Good place for work clothes, straight up. There were also some good deals on jackets, blazers, hair care and perfume. Their athletic section was not very good. Not a place for work out stuff. May be able to get an okay tank. Definitely a place to go. Number two place for deals. Loehmanns wins because they have better stuff for cheaper prices. read more

My feet got bigger. And size 10 is fantastic! I have come across many many designer shoes for 1/3 the price. And again the best stuff around the bay. I love the clearance events - usually after Nords has a big sale. Under $100 TOTAL: Tahari skirt suit fun chartreuse sweater casual cargo skirt work blouse If you see anything you really like get it. I used to work close to the Rack and would drop by regualry during my lunch breaks. If you are willling to commit an hour or more for shopping then this is the ideal place to go. If you are limited in time and you don't like having to wade yourself through mounds of clothes to find something decent then don't shop here. Shopping at the Rack requires patience and the willingness to try outfits and accessories that are not current and are more likely to have tears or missing buttons due to the volume of people who have touched the item before you. Also, the employees like to hit on girls which is kind of distracting and unprofessional if you are not in the mood for that kind of attention. Shopping at the Rack is like shopping at a thrift store because: 1. Most things have been picked over and are last years or the year before fashions. 2. Many of the clothes are ill fitting and is therefore the reason they have been sent to the rack. Usually, when I go shopping I like going to places that have nice resturants or cafes to take breaks when I get tired. Unfortunately, the only options you will have if you come here for food are a Panda Express, Quiznos, La Salsa, and Starbucks. read more

I always find good stuff here over other Nordstrom Rack locations. I was just in here the other day and bought a Rag and Bone white blazer, Helmut Lang dress, and a J Brand boyfriend jeans for a steal! I would come here once a week if I could but it is far from my house. Love their quick check-out within the store - if you pay with a credit card. It was a breeze - just asked one of the people with a green T-shirt on to ring me up and didn't have to wait at all. I have not had the pleasure of finding any shoes here yet. Keeping my fingers crossed that I will eventually find some great shoes one day. The only negative - the parking. I do not know when it is NOT busy for parking here. The day I came, I had to circle a couple of times to find a space and had to actually keep my eyes out for someone to leave. Since it is a strip mall, the traffic congestion is outrageous. People were fighting over parking spots. It was kind of scary and not something I want to deal with. read more

Came here Just the other day on the 9th and had probably one of the best experiences I had at this store. I got there right when the store opened so the store was nice and clean and pretty empty, which is rare the usual times I go (after work). Anyway I went looking for some things for my upcoming trip to Hawaii and found things right away! It was so easy I pretty much bought the whole outfit one of the mannequins were wearing, even got a pair of swim trunks for my BF. The only downfall was how long it took to get rung up, that's usually the case here at least this time it wasn't so packed. But honestly the best part was the service I got from my cashier, according to be receipt her name was Jacquieta. She was so kind and helpful, I love when someone can ask how am I doing and say goodbye and actually mean it. The short and sweet conversation made my experience so much better! I used to always go to this Nordstrom. It's super close too home. But in the recent years the staff is moody and in a bad attitude. Plus this store is ALWAYS a mess! The ONLY perk that this store ever had is that if you were a Nordstrom Card holder you were able to make a purchase with a green shirted staff member. And after that you could go straight to a front desk cashier to quickly make your credit card payment and leave the store. The convenience of being in and out quickly was the only reason why I would even set foot into this store. Well fast forward till today I met with a (what I'd believe to be a manager) Eduardo tell me that you can just make your payment anymore without waiting in their main line. Since this was the first time of me hearing about their policy change.... Not even as a courtesy did he let me make my card payment so that for the next time I knew what the new drill was. NOPE. I was given a disgusting snarky attitude. So disgusting In fact that I am debating cancelling my Nordstrom card indefinitely because for sure I'm never coming back to this store ever again. Or any Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, or Hautelook for that matter. Because of his service I'm done with Nordstrom from now on and will pass the word on to my friends and family members as well. read more
