Believe it, or not. Nordstrom has a Shoe Shine Stand. That's right, They have one tucked inside. It is located inside the Men's Shoe Department. Because it's inside a depatment store you would think it would be kind of pricey to get your shoes looking shiny & clean again, right ?? Nope. It isn't expensive at all. They charge 2.50 for a regular shoe shine, Boots are 3.50, Golf shoes are 4.50 but they have to be clean golf shoes. There are two Gentlemen that shine shoes at the stand, Their names are Frankie and Joe. They've both been shining shoes for a long time, about 15 & 25 years. They both do a excellent job. I always go to the Nordstrom Shoe Shine Stand to get my shoes for work, and my shoes to go out with shined. Believe me, Frankie & Joe will leave your shoes looking shiny, clean, and new. The two Guys at the Shoe shine stand at Nordstrom in Green Hills Mall are fabulous. Not only do they do a fantastic job at an affordable price of $2.50. But, They are great communicators and entertaining to speak with. The gentleman Branson made my day with his personable demeanor. Remember --- also tip these fellas well. I had a pair of dress shoes and one of them had a scuff that i did not think would come out. So I dropped them off in the morning and was called later to pick them up and when i did they look like new! I could not believe that my dress shoes look like new. Horrible. Went on a Saturday. The new guy had my husbands shoes for over two hours and said he'd call us when they're done. We went bacK and he hadn't even started on them. I'm one of those guys that owns two pairs of dress shoes: one black, one brown. I wear the crap out of them. Then move on. Have a wedding this weekend. No time to buy shoes. So, I drop by Nordstroms and get a shine. Holy crap. My shoes are like brand new. Dropped in some new laces and, hello ladies. :) Now, I used to think that getting a shoe shine was all highbrow. But, I am getting new life out of these shoes and really happy about it. Plus, the guys who run this place are really great. Went here and dropped off my boots and work boots. Took about an hour and a half to get done but I was walking around so it didn't matter. Boots were nice and cleaned up. Could've been a little shinier but it's fine. They take card so that's nice. read more

I'm sure they do excellent work based on other reviews. Went in for a shoe shine at 11-ish. The shoe shiner was in the back working on another pair of shoes(I assume not on anyone's feet) and there were two guests waiting to be serviced ahead of me (for how long I don't know). I'm going to estimate that my wait would have been at least about an hour had I stayed. Alas, my time is worth more than $2.50-3.50 an hour so I had to go. I've had my shoes shined at stands from San Diego to Manhattan, on the side of the street, in stores large and small, in barbershops, in airports, in subway stations . . . and Frankie (at the Fashion Valley Nordstrom) is the best. I first met Frankie in downtown San Diego in 1994, and in the twenty years since I have not found someone who both does such a good job and is such a good man.
