I thought I would like this buffet because my expectations for Chinese buffets aren't necessarily high. However, I was sorely disappointed. The food is AWFUL and that's not an exaggeration. The pros are the selection is pretty vast and the server was nice. I saw some items that aren't the norm such as pigs feet, I believe prime rib, and they do have salt and pepper crab claws. But I have to say even the fried food was horrible. It's as if the deep fryers were set to two minutes for all fried food. Everything was very soggy and mushy. The meat looked and tasted as if it had been out all day. I watched a child put his hand in the beef and broccoli and pick the pieces of meat he wanted and even the fried rice wasn't edible. I wish I had taken pictures but unfortunately I did not. It's not worth the $50 I paid and you'd be better off getting your fix at a local takeout spot read more

I was really surprised by the low reviews on Yelp, but still wanted to try it for myself. This is a large Chinese buffet, with a large variety of food, sushi, and hibachi. I think the previous reviews showcased some food that wasn't as fresh, but I think it really depends on the time and what foods you choose to eat. For me, I only eat seafood when I go to Chinese buffets to get my monies worth. The steamed crab was SO TASTY! I think I had maybe 3 plate fulls, just of crab! It was perfectly seasoned, so meaty, and the shell was quite soft so you didn't have to pick at it as much! The fried shrimp was also SO TASTY! The shell again was soft enough to eat through as well. I normally do not eat shrimp shell, but it was so flavorful and crunchy! I wish I took pictures of their ribs, it was large and so tender with the right amount of sauce!! The crawfish was pretty big and juicy. I wish they seasoned it but it tasted like boiled crawfish. I definitely did not want to try their sushi, or mussels or clams because it looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. I did try just one sushi, because so many reviews said to avoid it.. it tasted fine but I didn't want to risk it. Their garlic green beans were my splash of color! Sometimes I forget to eat my veggies at buffets because I only want seafood, but they were so garlicky and delicious! The service was good, they brought out drinks and cleared our plates frequently. I will say that the floors were very slippery! So please walk with caution. My other favorite thing besides seafood at buffets are the desserts! They have a wide variety of ice creams and cakes! Overall, I don't think this spot is worth 1 or 2 stars like the rest of the reviews, I think you just need to be picky with what you eat. I will say this, you'll find the largest variety of menu items including the hibachi side as well. Consistently, this location is at the very least, a 3.5. Consistently. Please be mindful of the time you visit. As you can see by the reviews, opinions are up and down. And I would co-sign the good and bad reviews. Service is decent. Try to visit BEFORE 8p. The more crowded it is, the food will move quicker and refreshed. You may get disappointed once in a blue moon but you will definitely revisit after visiting other buffets in the area. read more

We got there are 8 PM on a Friday. Posted hours are until 10:30. By 9 PM the staff was actively taking food down. Shrimp were not restocked while we were there. Sushi was not restocked, and there was little there when we arrived. Same with desserts. By 9 PM, the soups, salad dressings, and reheatables were being taken down by five or more carts. People were still coming in the door, I hope they were not charged full price. What we ate was acceptable. My husband and I have been here four times and had a different experience with each meal. Until three p.m. you can get lunch for eleven dollars. After three p.m. dinner prices go up to seventeen dollars and include additional food items such as cold crab legs. The Dixie cups I cream is free if you eat it in the restaurant if you take it home it's one dollar. I don't eat Sushi but there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. I have tried the cold shrimp with lemon and cocktail sauce, the Japanese vegetable soup, and the wonton soup. I also enjoy the cold crabmeat salad and the ambrosia style fruit salad. For main courses I like the traditional selection of Chinese dishes. Egg rolls, Spring rolls, noodles, lomein, and fried rice. General Tsaus chicken, mushrooms in oyster sauce and veggies with tofu are also favorites. I also tried the spinach and hot crab meat salad and the boiled shrimp and baked clams. From my Steve I like the red potatoes, Mac and cheese and the spinach. There are many kinds of desserts. My favorites are the Dixie cups ice cream and the German chocolate cake. Went for an outing with a few coworkers and it could have been better. As soon as we got to the table, the lady refilling our drinks asked if we already tipped her before we even sat down. Four stars may be a little much for a pretty basic Asian buffet, but I was just very impressed by the variety of food they offered! Lots of sushi and sashimi, seafood, some exotic fruit, authentic buns with different fillings. Really just the most expansive selection I've ever seen at an Asian buffet. One weird thing to me is that you pay when you walk in, which caught me off guard and I didn't end up leaving a tip because I was so confused and I felt really bad about that.... The music playing was really funny, it would go from clubbing vibes to romantic instrumental like they had a ten year old in the back playing DJ. Quality and taste of the food was just alright, but I would definitely recommend checking it out for yourself. My husband really loves Asian buffets so we will probably be back. read more

After a visit of the local botanical garden with our friends, we headed there on a Saturday afternoon. This was our first visit, and we were really pleased with everything. There were probably areas where they could improve, but the sushi bar swept us off our feet. For a Saturday afternoon, the seafood and the menu selection was outstanding. Well I didn't think this place could possibly surpass the less than stellar previous experiences I've had. And then I went back tonight. We came in at 8, two hours before close, paid full price. Nothing in the time we were there was refreshed or refilled. Some bars were completely empty, while others had trays with hour old burned remains of dishes stuck to the bottom of them. Upon request, two dishes were refreshed. The mop bucket next to my table was so powerfully smelly with cleaning product it made me woozy and it made it hard to breathe for my mother and I. I requested the bucket be moved and it was. At least until they decided to mop at 9:15. Then they mopped the entire section (including my shoes) so everything reeked of Fabuloso. Then they left the bucket and mop directly behind my seat. So that was pretty unpleasant. But then things took their worst turn. My mother had excused herself to the bathroom and noticed a man come up behind her and stand outside the door, obviously waiting to clean. That's awkward, but forgivable. What wasn't forgivable was when he got impatient and went into the bathroom and began cleaning it, knowing she was still in there and even tried to open the stall she was in. I brought this to the attention of the staff, however I'm not sure they cared or appreciated how unacceptable this was. My mother, on the brink of tears, expressed her embarrassment and anger, and she received no response or apology. I don't think this was a language barrier for all of the people at the table, as at least 3 had conversed in very good English with us and other patrons. We will never be back. The service was bad. It was my friend time coming here so I was confused about the hibachi and asked the man for help, to which he acted like he couldn't be bothered to. You can literally eat 10 plates of seafood or sushi, or even pork chops for that matter. What's not to like? Basic dim sum? Check. Salad bar? Check. Dessert bar and ice cream. For a price just over a McDonald's meal? Yes. Ignore the petty reviews and give it a try. I do suggest coming at "prime time" like 11:30 for lunch to insure the food is hot and fresh. read more
