Service was great. Restaurant is clean. The roll selection is very "Americanized" so it's not an"authentic" sushi spot. Example, the menu has 17 Rolls, 7 have cream cheese, 7 have spicy mayo, and 8 are tempura or deep fried component. In other words, any freshness the fish has is removed through deep frying, mayo goo, and paired with cream cheese for those looking to gain weight. These sushi spots are the Pepe's equivalent of Mexican food. No authenticity but not as bad as Taco Bell. It's just over-priced average food. Also, there's only one saki option and it's not worth the price of admission. The place does offer Sashimi and Nigir,i 2pc options ranging from 4-6$. That's the closest to fresh sushi you're going to find here.

This is the only sushi spot in the area, and it's definitely worth a visit. We walked in without a reservation, and although there was a 35-minute wait, they seated us right away, which we didn't mind. After about 10 minutes, the staff came to our table to take drink orders and check if we were ready to order. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The miso soup was delicious, and we tried the Salmon Teriyaki and the California Box, which included California Maki and 9 pieces of Nigiri. The salmon was fantastic, and the veggies added the perfect touch. The Nigiri portions were larger than most places in the area, very fresh and plump. The dining area is simple, but I loved the silverware. Since I'm a big sushi fan, this will definitely be my go-to spot on the east side of town when I'm craving sushi."

I was on my lunch break and saw this new place right by my next appointment. I am so happy I decided to give them a try! I ordered a lunch special of unagi maki and shrimp tempura maki with a cup of hot tea. The staff was friendly and helpful, the decor was beautiful, and the food was excellent! I loved every bite and will be back with my daughter soon because they serve her favorite, ramen! Thank you for the wonderful first experience!

We went to Wheaton location and this had the best tasting hibachi sauce I have ever had!! Such yummy sushi too.

Today was my first visit to Nori. I decided to order takeout, but since I was unfamiliar with the menu, I went in to order. The host took his time and was very nice explaining all the differences in the sections of the menu. He described all the dishes I asked about. I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp combo, which came with veggies, fried rice, salad, and soup. Everything was delicious, especially the veggies! I also tried the crab Rangoon. Yummm..... The food was ready in about 10 minutes. The seating area is cute and comfy looking. I will definitely be back!

    So much cream cheese

Got take out - the yummy sushi and the volcano. Both were terrible it was all just so extremely mushy- something was off about the sushi rice. The 2 rolls were also smushed together to fit into one box. Some rolls tasted like wasabi bc it was pressed against it. The flavors of both rolls ended up tasting the same.. probably bc the sauces were mixed together. There was WAY too much cream cheese. Paid $40 for these 2 rolls. Overpriced and just not good. Not good at all. Please improve your sushi!!!! Too much sushi. And too much avocado.

The food was spectacular and the service was amazing. I had the shrimp and steak teriyaki, the sauce was perfect and the flavor was exactly what I needed. My husband got the ramen and that was also delicious. The look of the restaurant is clean and simple, a lot of options on the menu for the whole family.

My first experience at Nori was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant's beautiful interior creates a perfect intimate dining atmosphere. Our server was incredibly polite, and the maki rolls were both fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Glad I took a chance in coming in. I used to come here when it was Wangs and let me say what an improvement. The interior was aesthetically pleasing and the food lived up to its expectations. We came in on a Tuesday evening and we were not the only ones trying this place out. Wonderful service and food came out within 8 minutes of ordering. Will be coming back!!!

The landscaping is done regularly and the small pond with Koi fish was clean! We made a reservation for 6pm on a Saturday night. It was busy so we had to wait about 15 minutes. It wasn't bad, as we sat and talked amongst ourselves. The process to alert parties is great as you are handed a buzzer so that they aren't screaming your name over the crowd. Once we arrived at our table and settled. Our hostess, Wayan (Why-un) arrived asking for our drink orders. Wayan was attentive and sooooo kind. He handled the stress of a busy restaurant floor with ease. He was not afraid to clarify or correct an issue before it became an issue. He was wonderful! Our chef was soooo entertaining. He cooked well and made sure we felt as if his performance was just for us. He was great!! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the floors were slippery. They felt greasy, and it made me fearful to walk on the floor. The food did not disappoint and neither did the service!

The wait staff are very nice, but sometimes a robo-cart brings the food to your table instead of a human. But the wait staff checked on me when there was down time. I enjoyed every roll except for the fried one (Chicago Fire) which was a bit dense and heavy. It's nice that rolls, sashimi, hibachi appetizers, and dessert are all included in the all-you-can-eat price, so you Jane lots of options. The dining room is spacious and lots of booths, which is nice. But you need to order from a tablet at your table, so if you are really old fashioned that would be a draw back.

Okay... what to say. They unlocked a new pet peeve for me at AYCE--and honestly, at any restaurant…read morefor that matter. I'm incredibly laid back and tip well. However, as a customer I felt completely unwelcome and neglected. They literally handed me the tablet and left me to my own devices. I'm sorry, but what the actual fuck? This isn't my first rodeo. Even when they're short-staffed, most AYCE restaurants at least bring you water, take your drink order, and explain how their AYCE system works. (Luckily I'm not new to AYCE, so I knew not to over-order, but I'd be pretty annoyed if I were a first-timer and no one explained anything.) They didn't do any of that. I had to ask for water, and thank God I'm over 21 because I ordered sake through the tablet and nobody ever checked my ID. (So yeah... if I were a parent, I wouldn't let my teenager go here alone.) The part that didn't piss me off? They had a great variety on the AYCE menu, and the sushi had the perfect rice-to-fish ratio--so bravo for that. Some places give you almost double the rice they should, which honestly feels a little insulting. If I'm paying for sushi, I want to taste the fish, not fill up on rice. Had the service not completely and utterly ruined the experience, this easily would've been 5 stars and a generous tip. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed everything else. Which is honestly ridiculous. They need to figure out a better system--whether that's having a dedicated drink runner for the whole floor or closing part of the dining room until they have enough staff. Being that short-staffed isn't just bad service; it's how restaurants end up making serious mistakes, like accidentally serving alcohol to someone under 21 because nobody ever checked their ID. Mine was never checked. I did notice my servers seemed to rotate throughout the meal, but that doesn't change the fact that no one ever asked. I'm literally not asking for much. Water. Food. Maybe take my drink order. I mean... that's a really weird concept to expect at a restaurant, right? I'm honestly the easiest customer to please. Give me good food, a glass of water, and you can neglect me the rest of the meal. Ironically, I noticed the items I paid extra for that weren't included in the AYCE came out pretty quickly. So I guess I drank half the tip instead. Good thing I'm a responsible adult, because if I wasn't, I probably would've drank the whole tip waiting for someone to bring me water or take my drink order. In my book, mediocre AYCE gets a mediocre tip. Had the service matched the food, this easily would've been a 5-star experience.

Our server, Katie, was amazing. She was attentive, funny, and gave great recommendations on both food and drinks. The menu has a wide variety of options, so her guidance definitely helped. We ordered hibachi, which was delicious and a fun experience. The chef put on a great show and even gave us cues for slow motion videos, which made it extra memorable. A few people in our group ordered sushi and said it was really good as well. I had the shrimp dinner and added calamari on the side. The shrimp portion was generous, and everything tasted great. My only complaint is the noodles. They were very thin, similar to Pad Thai noodles, and I personally prefer thicker hibachi noodles. The soup was one of the best I've tasted.
