Checked into our hotel around 10:30 pm to find all its restaurants have closed for the night. Went across Collins Ave to Norman and couldn't have been happier. I had the Gaucho Burger - beef patty with a fried egg, chorizo and pepper cheddar. A 10. Wife had the wagyu sliders that were also excellent. Excellent service on take out food. My order was ready before the estimated waiting time. Very good customers service. I ordered the chicken wings (extra crispy), they were delicious and hot, really enjoyed the sweet potatoes. Packing was on point. Veggies were fresh and all the temperature of the food was perfect. Very glad they are open for delivery and take out, I really think they make a fenomenal job with their food and great chicken wings if not the best in the area. Employees were very courteous and accommodating with my order. Parking is a little difficult near by but this bar offers a great selection of beers, cocktails and delicious food. read more

Finally got to eat at Normans again after a very long hiatus. I used to work in the area and it was my go to late night bite. I came last night after 4th of a July fireworks. I noticed the menu was a bit different so I'm not sure if they changed owners but there's definitely been some changes. Wings were as amazing as ever,will get them every time, decent size, and juicy. They could've had crispier skin though.My Philly was pretty good as well, just dissapointing the bread didn't hold up and became soggy quickly. My mom liked her shrimp tacos, although only two tacos come with it the shrimps were big and definitely fill you up. My pit of this experience were the drinks. I was really looking forward to a lychee martini, they used to make such good ones here! No longer though, so the waitress suggested an espresso martini and assured me it was made with fresh espresso. I have a really hard time believing there was real espresso in there. It was honestly the worst espresso martini I've ever had. I used to love the drinks here, so I really hope they refine their cocktail menu and use some better ingredients and recipies! read more

In all fairness the Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich was really good. I must describe everything else. We bought onion rings but we only received a few pieces for like eight or nine dollars. We also ordered the chicken wings which were okay but not as delicious as I thought they would be. That leads me to the soup that is supposed to be Seafood. It was actually the most Bland soup with absolutely no Seafood in it. If there was Seafood, it was grinded in a blender and put in a cup. So there you have it , I spent sixty bucks and got just a good Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich. My son had the cheeseburger and he thought it was pretty good which most kids will think that. Overall, I'm truly disappointed. Actually, I did give an extra star for excellent service. The ladies were outstanding and taking our order and making sure that we were comfortable. read more

My husband and I love this lil gem! it is our go to "date spot". We have a sports car and we like to our Miami beach - watching the vibrant night life there and then when we are finished, we drive up the coast a bit to visit here. One main reason is their decent non rip off prices, in comparison to Miami beach. Two - we always find a seat outside and can still enjoy their ocean air (we have never sat inside yet!) Three - we can park our car right next to our table to ensure it is safe and in sight for us. Four - they have one of our favourite wines - a red by Mark West at a decent price too. Five - the food is always consistently good. For the dishes - we have tried their burgers, their fries, their salads, their chicken wings, their steaks, their ribs,their prawn dishes... SSSSHHHH though, don't tell everyone about this place, as we want it to stay the same way!! read more

The location is desirable being across the street from the beach, located on Collins Ave. The drinks are good but the food is mediocre at best. This is a divey bar that has sports playing super loud which is cool for a drink. The worst part of this experience is that there was a flood in the back and one of the staff was vacuuming it up while we ate inside. It was so loud and obnoxious that we wanted to get up and leave, but we already placed our food order. They didn't give us silverware when we got our food so had to flag someone down (which wasn't easy) to get some. The food was not good, looked like a microwaved chicken tender on a bland sandwich. Came here to play billiards with some friends got there early and the host said hello but once inside I was met with a rude waitress who didn't even acknowledge me I waited 25 mins for my friends who were running late (had a full blown convo so the time was apparent) made eye contact with a smile patiently waiting the bartender never came over until a guy sat down of which she came over and say hi and give him a menu to him first ....weird but whatever i tried to get dibs on the pool table early AND ORDER DRINKS but she lied and said she simply couldn't break a $20 in a packed bar once the lady opened the register I could clearly see bills funny part is I paid for a drink with the same $20 after PAYING TWICE WITH MY CARD OVER $65.00 for drinks can't forget the added gratuity for nothing but a nasty attitude and she gives me the change she said she didn't have sad part ive played pool at many bars in Miami this is the worst part I was a service manager in a restaurant for years and not only tip good but understand tough nights it wasn't it was simply ignoring your customers oh and the bar back with no manners kept bumping ppl but only saying sorry to the old white men in the bar which some younger guys noticed next to us they were from Spain.
