From the food to the service to the preparation, we were impressed every step of the way. We seriously could not recommend Smokin J's enough!! To start, the food was absolutely incredible. All of our guests could not stop raving about it! For appetizers, we had pulled pork sliders and jalapeño poppers (which were a personal favorite). They were not only delicious, but the perfect size to grab and eat as they were passed around. They were a perfect introduction of what was to come. For the main course, we had pulled pork, smoked chicken, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. Every single dish I listed was cooked perfectly. I honestly don't think I've had bbq that good before (I will be thinking about it for a long time to come!). Out of our friends and family, we have some pretty tough food critics and I can say with confidence that it was a hit with everyone. Not only did everything taste amazing, but it was filling as well. Joe worked with us to develop the menu and timeline, answered any and all questions we had (day of and prior to the party), and gave us a full rundown of what to expect in terms of setup and execution. Day of, Joe came with two additional team members, Jerry and Elisa, to help cook and serve everything. They were equally as fantastic. There was one point where Joe noticed I hadn't eaten (I was busy running around like a nut saying hi to everyone), and called me over for a question.
