We did some research and got 3 quotes from local companies that all have very good reputations. We decided to go with Servicexcel even though their quote was about $800 more than the others. The main reason we went with Servicexel is that they quoted on higher quality equipment and their system designer took the time to explain why, in plain simple language. Plus the equipment they quoted on have a better and longer warranty. After they provided the quote, they were very quick to answer all our questions. The ladies that answer the phones were very knowledgeable and prompt to help however they could. They also took the extra step to arrange for the rebates that we qualified for. Once they started to do the install, the technicians both were very knowledgeable and able to explain what they were doing and were very efficient. It was not the easiest install (due to the cramped and awkward furnace room and crawlspace), but these two technicians took it all and made it look much easier than I thought it would be. During the install they were very good at keeping the area clean and went through the whole area afterwards to vacuum up and make sure everything was back to normal. I would highly recommend Servicexcel and their dedicated employees to anyone that needs any type of HVAC service or replacement.

The dispatcher called shortly before 10AM to confirm we we home and said the technician would arrive shortly. The technician arrived promptly, and proceeded to extract 20 feet of root from the drain, then did a high pressure flush to clean the remaining dirt. He accomplished the whole job in an hour and a half. He was polite, efficient, competent, and very skilled. The fee was very reasonable, compared with the alternative of digging up our lawn replacing the pipe. We also received a senior's discount! Thank you Roto Rooter Parksville. They advised that they could send a plumber on Monday morning and so began the planning process for a few waterless days - no tea, no showers, no dishwashing, no laundry... A few minutes later Roto-Rooter called about a cancellation. Did I want a plumber now, Ok he is on his way. He arrived shortly thereafter, evaluated the situation, arranged deliver of a shiny new hot water tank, completed the installation, removed the old tank and departed at about 4:00 pm. Not often am I impressed but he and Roto-Rooter really exceeded my expectations. Exceptional service and highly recommended - Thank you.

Replaced a very old heating fuel furnace that was at it's "end of life" with a new gas furnace…read more Received a quote from Angelo less than 3 hours from his visit. Becky at the office, answered a few questions and altered our order to include a programmable thermostat with no problems. Sent updated information, and confirmed the install twice, at time of order, and again the day before. Their friendly crew were on time, paid attention to details, kept me informed as the install was happening, answered all questions. They double and triple checked the install. Checked the registers. Insured the gas stove was operating fine before wrapping things up, as the gas was shut off to run a new gas line. Removed the fuel line, shut off the fuel from the old tank and capped it as well. Ran through the thermostat settings. Cleaned up everything and used drop cloths. Place heats quickly, fan is much quieter and can actually be set to lower speeds if desired. The programmable thermostat helps reduce heating costs. So far, I am quite pleased and toasty warm. If I don't update this review, the furnace if working fine. ;)

Their pricing was reasonable, they showed up on time, finished the job in the time they quoted and did a damn good job. They were also really flexible as we had some last minute changes to what we wanted them to do. I talked to a few different contractors and he was the only one who responded reliably in a reasonable amount of time or at all. If you need any work done I can't recommend this company enough!
