That Hollandaise! I…read morerecently visited Wyomissing Restaurant and Bakery with two companions, and we had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is a bit more upscale than your average diner--everything was impeccably clean, and the ambiance was very pleasant. My friends both opted for the "All You Can Eat Buffet," which I understand is what this place is famous for (especially on weekends!). Their plates were packed, and the fact that they both went back for seconds speaks for itself--they loved it. I went with the Norway Benedict, and I was honestly blown away. It featured two perfectly poached eggs and smoked salmon on English muffins with a very generous serving of Hollandaise sauce, accompanied by a side of home-fried potatoes. The presentation was beautiful, the taste was excellent, and I truly can't think of a single thing that would have improved the dish. Service Highlights: * Attentive Staff: Our server was great--present when we needed drink refills but never intrusive. * Efficiency: They were quick to clear empty plates rather than letting them sit on the table, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

All the pastries are homemade even my toast tasted like they made it there which they probably did. The place could've been a little bit more updated, not the best ambience but if you want a good brunch, this is where to come! No four seater booths.

For this place to be in such a remote spot is criminal. Im considering giving my entire will to this restaurant instead of my deabeat children. I have arthritis in all 10 fingers and toes and I still have enough passion to give this review. Ive never seen such great teamwork in an establishment. The US army could take notes. This may have taken my blood sugar up 200% and might die soon, but this place is to die for. Literally.

If you're looking for a milkshake, you sure did find yourself one! My 47 year old taste buds have never tasted something quite as enthriving as the birthday cake milkshake he bestowed upon me. To say that absolute least, the best customer service ever. This guy needs a raise. to anyone who is graced by this amazing place will understand how perfect it is. Yes, their vanilla cake-based donuts are fried in hot oil and NOT duck fat. But what makes them unique is that their twenty-eight varieties are made to order right in front of your eyes. You see, the donuts are made by a cool automated process that drops plain donuts into a bin. Then the fun starts when the plain donuts are transformed in front of you with various toppings and drizzles. Bottom line? Your donuts are served hot and fresh for you. Founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina, the chain has expanded rapidly from its original Outer Banks location and now operates over 150 locally owned shops across 26 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The donuts are reasonably priced, so we paid just $2.65 each for a Blueberry Streusel and Cinnamon Bun donut. They were amazing. We both had a half of each donut last night, and we agreed the Blueberry was the clear winner. Bottom line? If your donut quacks like a duck.....you're in luck!

Cookie Review Only…read more Pre-package cookies - before you go ugh I don't think so, think about how long they've been around, most grocery stores dedicate an entire aisle to cookies in just about any variety you can imagine. There are also plenty of startup companies that have established there place in the markets; Grandma's, Famous Amos, Mrs. Field and the list goes on and on the fore mentioned brands aren't a bad option and I guest could be considered premium cookies when compared to those prepackaged by elves and the most famous chocolate chip cookies who's mascot was a live-action superhero named Mort Meek, the odds that you haven't eaten these are practically zero. It seems all those cookies incorporated the famous chocolate morsel back in the day and most are created through engineered processes that have been totally automated and requires very little human intervention except of course the FQS departments who conducts the shelf life studies to ensure they can sit in the warehouses and grocery store shelves much longer the the cookies you mom created at home. Well let me reassure you all pre-packaged cookies aren't created equal - Sweet Street has seemed to have found a niche and probably stands alone for the most part at least until the next entrepreneur trumps them. I doubt if most consumers know what goes into the majority of the mechanically engineered cookies we have been eating for decades and although labeling has gotten so much better unless your a chemist you probably don't know what the ingredients are - I love the fact that Sweet Street has explained things - real butter dough - cage free eggs - non GMO's - no artificial additives it seems pretty simple to me and believe me the quality shows, they are big enough to share and are filled with big chunks of sustainable chocolate. Honestly l would buy these again but I highly recommend a quart of your favorite ice cold milk be it dairy or plant based...
