This place is an unexpected hidden gem! I've never been to an olive oil store, but this store is amazing. They have tons of different olive oils and vinegars to sample and buy. The stores attendent was amazing and clearly very passionate about his job. He talked about the different ways to use the olive oils in cooking, marinating, and even as a salad dressing. They give small samples and were very generous, we probably tried at least 5 different vinegars. We ended up getting the Umeboshi Plum and Key Lime White Balsamic Vinegar. We took it home and are obsessed! We will probably order more from their website when we run out. FYI there is a 3% service charge for using a credit card so cash is preferred! read more

It's always super interesting to pop in here and see all the different combinations and flavors of oil/vinegars. I always come home with a bottle or two to try at my next meal. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel others should know. I stopped into the Olive Oil Company expecting a welcoming small-business experience, but instead I was met with an owner who was rude, dismissive, and made it seem like customers were an inconvenience. Customer service costs nothing, and unfortunately it was completely lacking. Rather than feeling encouraged to browse or ask questions, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. No matter how good the products may be, it's difficult to support a business where customers are treated with such hostility. There are plenty of places to buy quality olive oil and specialty products where you're treated with kindness and respect. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this store based on the way I was treated. read more

The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family, fun, and some exploring. On Saturday morning, while our son did homework in the room, while my wonderful wife was exercising, our daughter and I explored North Conway, NH. Near the end of the street, toward the wooden statue of the moose, is the North Conway Olive Oil store. We like oil and balsamic for dipping bread, and on salads, and my wonderful wife has found an olive store back home and we have 20+ bottles of balsamics, for cooking / seasoning, for salads, and for her, chocolate in yougurt for breakfast. This morning, our daughter and I were ready to taste some new flavors... and thankfully we did... we found some great flavors: - Lavender - Provence herbs - Traditional Dark Balsamic - 25-year Traditional Dark Balsamic - Dark Chocolate Rebecca was helpful with - sharing samples of the flavors - mixing lavender and Provence together - wow! - sharing how, growing up, her Mom would put chocolate balsamic on ice cream... not as heavy as we typically apply chocolate, but enough for good taste - we tried it and it's a great recommendation - shipping the bottles home for us - wow... packed so well... foam for the tops and bottoms of the bottles, keeping them so secure in the box Rebecca - thanks for helping us find the new flavors and for shipping them to my wonderful wife... we all really like these flavors! Great little olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop. Seriously every kind you could ever imagine. I wasn't so much into the OO as I was the balsamic vinegars. You can taste every kind of OO and balsamic vinegar but the OO would be better with some bread perhaps. I LOVE the pear balsamic as well as the apricot balsamic. Delicious. They also sell some seed oils, like pumpkin seed, almond seed oil, and butternut squash oil... the butternut squash oil was really yummy with a nutty flavor to it. Got a little sampler of the fig balsamic as a gift.. bought a cute elf topper as well to put on top of the bottle. read more

I teased my parents when they mentioned how much they enjoy this store, only to find I enjoy it just as much. The staff is excellent at their job, inviting us in to sample and imagine how these finely flavored oils and balsamic vinegars "dance" together, like Jelly Belly combos for home chefs. The Sicilian lemon and cucumber white balsamic is their newest, offering a bright and summery flavor that I want to try everywhere. Maybe even in a cocktail. We'll return next time we're in town, and we'll also order more online. read more

One of my best experiences yet in North Conway. I was a little intimidated walking in and seeing all the sections but the woman (I believe she was the owner-Mary?) really made me feel at ease. I bought 3 different types of olive oil and we paired them with a balsamic glaze I loved. She was so hands on with me and even tried them with me. Super impressed with the huge selection of many olive oils and vinegars! The owner himself spent a good 20 to 30 minutes with us tasting, sampling and mixing different combinations! All which were amazing and tasted so delicious! We ended up spending over $100 on Oils-and vinegars to bring home and cook with, which we did that very night and were extremely pleased with the Tuscan herb olive oil with the aged balsamic vinegar on our grilled steak. Sesame oil and honey ginger vinegar is to die for! We have already shared oils with some friends we are camping with, and they are on their way today to buy some for themselves! I love this little shop. It brings back memories of the no deceased Olive Tap in Providence. The oils were amazing, full of flavor. My favorite was the blood orange. They had samples of a blood orange fudge brownie for customers to try, to show how well it paired with their oil. Well, that did it for me, so I bought a bottle. My only little complaint would be that there wasn't any bread to dip in the oil, which I always love at olive oil shops. Everything was great though, and the owner was present and ringing guests out. He and his staff were very attentive and fun to chat with. Definitely stop by this shop and get yourself some quality olive oil or balsamic. read more

A friend had recommended stopping by this olive oil company, and we are sure glad we did! It was a little overwhelming at first- there are so many I wanted to try!! The balsamic vinegars were my favorite. The olive oil was a little hard to taste (too heavy for me). I was reading another review and having a small piece of bread would be a nice addition to tasting the olive oils. Overall, my family and I bought 7 bottles to take home with us ranging from the pineapple white balsamic to a cinnamon pear dark balsamic. I am so excited to use them. Also, if one of the flavors you like has run out, they make you a bottle right there- perfect! We will definitely be back next time we're up in New Hampshire! read more

My husband and I went to the 7pm presentation tonight. I can't brag enough about how friendly the staff was. They go out of their way to make you feel like family and friends. The chef Stephanie they hired to do the presentation was amazing. Not only an amazing chef but very friendly as well. The family owned and primarily ran business is among the best I have ever seen. I have traveled all over the country and can honestly say I have not tasted better oils and vinegars. The products I have tried from other places are oily and lose flavor once cooked. Not these. The flavors are amazing and lasting. You will never need those jars spices again. The owner and his wife are down to earth and friendly. Truly the people next door. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for high quality, good prices, family people, and good time. They also will host parties, group date nights and other events catering to your desires. After looking forward to visiting the shop all weekend I was unpleasantly surprised by the snobby attitude that the woman working there gave myself and my husband. After following us around and never saying a word looking at us like we were going to steal something and then telling us that if we were to try anything to make sure not to take it from the large container above the small tasting jars like we were morons. We were turned off. It was then that she went up to another couple and asked them if they wanted a tour we realized why we were given such a judge mental attitude. We were dressed in sweatpants and were wearing hats as we were on vacation. This female employee caters to those that are dressed like they have money. Shameful when we were prepared to make a large purchase for our family and ourselves. We left realizing that we were not welcome. I would love to go back and see what her attitude would have been if I was wearing my Patagonia jacket and my life is good shirt.
