And my mom's been going here since SHE was a kidlet to Senior. there's a reason why more than one generation sticks with a dentist. My grandpops - he comes here. My uncles? Yep. Their kids? No doubt. I drive an hour and 15 minutes to come here. Why? well, we can push aside the fact that I've known these people, literally, my entire life. Dr. Donahue and Segnini are amazing. They always have the most up to date technology, they have been on the cutting edge for years. They're both brilliant and personable. Let me tell you a little story - a few years ago, I cracked my jaw and fractured it in three places, having it wired shut for 6 weeks with several broken teeth. Dr Donahue fixed all my teeth, saved my smile and even helped me with the rehab when my wires came off. He KNOWS its hard for me to keep my mouth open for long periods of time and does what he can to make sure I'm comfortable. No one can tell I've had any work done. If I ever have a weird pain or strange feeling, he will see me on his lunch break if necessary. Sure, sometimes there's a wait...but if you're getting top notch service, you can sit in the waiting room for five minutes and watch tv. Plus, he gave me an air conditioner. The dentist was using my mouth…read moreas his final exam and he did a bad job because two weeks after Covid hit the clinic shut down, but my tooth was rebroken again and the clinic was shut down for a year! After that in order to see the dentist you'd have to drive all the way to the hospital for them to do a PCR test for you to then drive all the way back there the next day to have the work done on your mouth if you live 45 minutes away that's an hour and a half just for them to stick a Q-tip up your nose so I suffered longer. But during that time and for the following year and a half they continue to send me a bill for four dollars every single month sometimes twice a month. They spent over $300 trying to collect four dollars from me. I called the billing department over 10 times to discuss the matter and billing and every single time I called I got put into a No one ever answers the phone. After leaving 10 different messages on 10 different occasions still call back. I finally went up to the school to make an appointment now that you don't have to unnecessarily drive an hour and a half to get a PCR test. When I was done making my series of appointments that do because it's been quite a while. I went over to the billing department to speak to the about not returning my calls for the last three years. I told her that this kind of frustration is what drives people to do crazy things like just go after people and kill them because there's crazy people in the world. At no point did I threaten this woman or say that I would do this? I said that's why people do things like that out of frustration. Well that alarmed this woman and rather than talking about it, they decided to put me on a terrorist list with security. I think most of it was just a pure embarrassment that she must've felt because when I went to complain to her, the last thing I said to her your job in a very loud angry voice

I was greeted with smiles and soon after they sensed my fear the lovely receptionist went out of her way to make me feel relaxed. Not just her but everyone! My fear at the dentist also includes the dreaded cleaning. I have super sensitive teeth and the hygienist went out of her way to make sure I was not uncomfortable in any way. Cleaning and X-rays complete! Unfortunately the worst news followed - root canal. Took me a few weeks to be bold enough to return, but I did. Scared was an understatement!! I was constantly reminded that that I should not be in any pain and the dentist continually made sure that indeed I was comfortable. After a total of 5 visits my root canal is complete and I can not be more grateful for the outstanding service I received. I may not enjoy going, but at least I know moving forward that I finally have a great dental office to which I need not fear.
