    Flooring from NCT

My experience with NCT has been nothing less than incredible! I started working with them back in October 2021 when I started my renovation. My project quickly became a whirlwind of challenges and obstacles that I would not have been able to overcome without the help of NCT. They came out to my home multiple times to help select the best product for my spaces and offered genuine and helpful opinions when it came to aesthetic and functionality. At one point, because the project took so long, I missed the opportunity to purchase a slab I had chosen because the vendor discontinued the product. NCT quickly called all their contacts and helped me explore any and every solution we could. I was incredibly grateful for their attempts and willingness to help me even though they urged me from the start to purchase the product. Although I did not end up with the original slab I did end up with another option but it would NOT have been possible without their help along the way. Their tenacity, patience, professionalism and expertise is priceless when you are going through the stressful process of remodeling or building. Having the right team is key! I have and will continue to use NCT and recommend them to anyone I know who is in need of their products or services.

WE ARE THRILLED! We own a rental property in a beach community in North San Diego County that was in need of a complete remodel. We were referred to North County Tile and Stone by a family member and worked with Makenzie and Nasha to pick materials that fit our budget. Our project included remodeling the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a fireplace and a facelift to a very ugly laundry room. Once they had the design and materials picked out, NCTS referred us to an amazing general contractor. When the construction was almost done NCTS helped us pick all of the lights and fixtures for the finishing touches. Thanks to NCTS our project went smoothly, was within budget and the finished product is absolutely GORGEOUS! We can't thank NCTS enough and look forward to our next home beautification project with you.

my contractor brother-in-law's motto could be "well begun's the most work you can hope for outta me…read more..." so, now that we've hired a guy to finish one more of the many, many construction/remodeling projects he started, got paid for but never, ever got around to actually finishing (in this particular case patching and painting an exterior wall he tore up trying to resolve a plumbing issue which also required hiring a plumber to fix), i found myself trucking out to SAN MARCOS for mortar and stucco. any task requiring tools other than a spatula or kitchen knife is out of my comfort zone and these guys were very, very helpful mostly in a bemused sort of way -- not that i blame them as clueless as i am it's reasonable they found my feeble attempts at having anything to do with a construction project amusing. the good news is now, thanks to a little help from FREE BUILDERS SUPPLY and our very handy handyman, five years after the demo portion of the assault on the wall, our home is whole again.

Unfortunately, both Lowes and Home Depot were out at most of the stores in San Diego. I called around and found it at Free Builders. When I arrived I went straight to the counter and asked for the product. The less than friendly worker started to write up a ticket for the purchase. Now standard concrete is about $4.00 a bag and this stuff runs about $14.00 but it's better for what I was using it for and I didn't need much so worth the extra cost. But I noticed he wrote about $30.00 on his little ticket for one bag of the stuff. I asked if that was what they were charging and when he confirmed it I said "Thanks Anyway" and walked out. As I leaving the parking lot, another guy came out and said...."Oooops it's $21.00 a bag. We made a mistake" I kept driving. Now I'm a reasonable woman and I understand that a mom and pop shop does not get the same discounts as the big box stores so I expect to pay a bit more. But not double! Maybe it was an innocent mistake. Or maybe they saw a woman walk through the door in a dress and flip-flops asking for one bag of concrete and assumed that she just "don't know shit" about the cost of building materials. You decide. As for me, I don't do business with scammers.

Dispatch told me I was wrong, and my team was wrong, because they use calibrated equipment. I'm an engineer. Calibrated equipment has tolerances - operating at low end of the tolerance, per load, can add up to significant under-fulfillment of an order. So yeah, it could be off. I trust my team that actually applied the product in the field. At the end of the day I don't really care, because I was short material for a project - 2 cubic yards. A big amount for me, a homeowner, but a small amount for a landscaping supplier. As a business owner, I would have expected a higher level of customer service, acknowledging the amount of business throughput with my account. I was offered a discount on a future purchase, but in a way that was pretty rude and forced. I declined the discount because I don't really want to do more business with a company that would dismiss me so quickly after spending thousands of dollars for their materials. The dispatch manager chose to forgo my future business to be right about a material cost of $172. Sure. you win, Southwest Boulder. You're right. And I'll take my next $3000 order somewhere else that won't call me a liar.

I was selling a home in northern San Diego that was built in 1975 and lived in for 46 years by the couple that designed and decorated it. Although the home was in excellent condition ('good bones' as they say), it was badly in need of a modern look that would be inviting to anyone who wanted to enjoy the home's beautiful layout, golf course views, and outdoor pool and entertainment areas. I was able to work directly with Tori Prince, the company's founder and CEO, throughout the entire process. Tori walked with me room by room and explained her vision for how the house could be transformed to meet our shared goals. She outlined how the process would work, how each part of the project would be priced, and an estimated timeline for completion. Within 48 hours I had received a detailed quote that included not just pricing, but an estimate of the time needed for each phase right up until the date of the photography and video sessions that the realtor had scheduled. The design concept was exactly what the realtor and I felt would be best for maximizing the sales value of the home and I was convinced that the return on my investment with The Stagency would be repaid many times over. And it was. Tori has decades of experience in her field and a years-long relationship with the highest caliber craftsmen in the business. Everyone who came to the home was fully briefed on their job, completed first quality work - on time - and had a great rapport with both Tori and me. The transformation was seemless. The house sold in less than three days on the market and I received 20% above my asking price. Although the house was beautiful in its own right when we started, it was spectacular when we finished. My thanks go out to Tori and her team at The Stagency. I can't imagine that this project could have been any more successful than it was and I really enjoyed the experience of working with them.
