This was our first visit to this cafe. The food was very yummy I loved my bananas foster and he loved his breakfast as well. The server was very pleasant and I loved the overall atmosphere. It's very beautiful to look at and very chill environment. Can't wait to come back again!

A cute community center annex w/good coffee and decent menu. Not having lights in the hallway leading to the bathrooms is a hazard-- the staff seemed not to care much that it is a hazard. It's farther from Rt 65 than I'd hoped.

Hearty breakfast plate with thick toast. Coffee was the best part.

Same as my previous review. Friendly and attentive staff. Good sized menu with lots of choices and decent bottomless coffee. I find the food very bland but there is hot sauce and ketchup on the table. The vibe is open airy contemporary artsy charm, maybe? The omelette was filling and hearty. The pancakes had a strange texture and taste, maybe it was gluten free or buckwheat batter. The food is three stars and service is four stars. Total score 3.25.

I was next door watching my Son's BB game when we decided to stop in for breakfast, I couldn't imagine it being a gem!. I was blown away the design of its seating area, it had top notch service and delicious food!. Love this place and will be returning for sure!

As soon as you walk in a bakery case greets you with a variety of sweet treats including muffins and cookies. While you're waiting for a table you can look at the musical decorations and check out the store that's connected to the restaurant and Community Center. The menu has breakfast and lunch options. From omelettes to biscuits and gravy to the thickest, fluffiest pancakes I have ever seen! I was tempted to try the breakfast taco or quesadilla but went with the 3-egg omelette, home fries and an English muffin! Everything was delicious! We splurged at the end of the meal and tried the beignets! They came with a delicious caramel sauce to dip them in. Can't wait to go back and try a few other things on the menu. All the servers were polite, friendly and quick. The prices were very reasonable and a good for a group or for college students!

I'm not 100% sure about this place. It's very cute inside. Looked nice and clean. The service was a little awkward. Nice, but awkward. The hostess seemed like she was uncomfortable seating us. The servers were very young which in itself isn't an issue. They just seemed very scared and uncomfortable. It took quite a bit of time to get our drinks, and they forgot to bring our to go boxes. They were nice though. The food was really great! The beignets were great. I had the breakfast burrito and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The burrito was very flavorful. The sauce on top really sealed the deal. The diced potatoes on the side were cooked and seasoned well. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good for a restaurant. Homemade is always better though. The WORST part didn't even happen directly to us. Our server was standing next to another worker. Possibly a manger because she was wearing a black polo. Standing at a server station, right in the middle of the restaurant, she started throwing stuff on the ground. Looked like check holders with receipts inside. Multiple of them. Then she proceeded to throw someone's payment card over her shoulder onto the floor. Right in front of everyone. That's really disrespectful, especially to do that with someone's livelihood. Not to mention basically throwing a tantrum in the middle of a restaurant. If you need to do that, go in the back out of the customers' sight. Really awful. I'll consider carry out from here, but probably never dine in again.

Great service, people and food. Pleasantly surprised at this restaurant that has been here since Spring of 2022. On a late Sunday morning, we had to wait ~15 minutes to be seated - this is nearly unheard of! Fresh food with an extensive coffee bar. Pleasant and comfortable seating area while we waited to be seated. Will definitely come again!

Lovely spot in Market Square. The North End Community Center is run by Faith Ministries so there is a very strong Jesus-y bent to ambiance/decor. Nice little patio area and some lounge-y coffee shop type seating indoors in addition to tables and booths. Service was friendly and attentive. Menu is huge and has lots of classics as well as some inventive options. The bang bang shrimp and grits was fabulous. Very flavorful.

Great place! Honestly was so surprised to find this kind of vibe around this area. The prices are great, coffee is good, service is sweet, attentive and quick. They had live music too! We had the eggs benny and pancakes. My husband loved it but the Canadian bacon was a little too thick for my liking (a personal preference completely). Honestly this place is similar to another broken egg but wayyy less money. Definitely will be a new regular spot for us.

I posted a picture of the front and a nearby business with a larger sign so you should be able to find it. It's a very small place and somehow we kept missing it so I hope the pictures help. So imagine my (pleasant) surprise that there was but one Triple XXX restaurant that remained open, carrying the torch (as it were) for that great root beer! So on a nice and humid Saturday, me, hubby, and our little Puppy hopped in the car for a 2+ hr drive to West Lafayette IN for lunch! Of course - we got there - an old-style-diner-like building perched on a hill close to Perdue University in West Lafayette! We were seated in the outdoor "full service" tented section of the restaurant (covered) and perused the menu. After ordering the obligatory Triple XXX root beer (but of course - which came with free refills) we turned to the menu! Hubby ordered the Barney Burger - a 1/4 lb chop steak burger with cheese and grilled onions - as fyi, no burger comes with condiments- you get to "dress your own the way you like it" with condi's on the table. I ordered the Bernie Flowers All-Pro - a 1/4 lb chop steak with lettuce, tomato, onion (which I held) and Miracle Whip (yes!) on a toasty sesame bun. We both got curly fries (which were yummy, btw). Ok- first thoughts- the burgers - while fresh- were a bit dry. Hmm. The lettuce on my Bernie was a nice, crisp, and cold leaf. Yes! The tomato was freshly sliced and - honestly- looked like one I'd cut at home. Sweet! So why the 4 stars - I mentioned the meat was dry? Oh my. Yes, that's the sole demerit. But props to the fries and the awesome Root Beer! We enjoyed it - and just in the nick of time. No sooner did we finish up than a severe thunderstorm rolled into town! So we skedaddled to the car, hopped in, and drove thru drenching rain, super strong winds, some light hail - until we got outta Indiana on our way back to Illinois. Would we come again? Of course! Gotta support places like this-they're an important part of Americana! Check it out yourself and enjoy- as we did!

This time I got a burger and root beer. This isn't fancy food, this is country cooking at it's finest. The root beer is amazing. I should have asked about a root beer float, next time. The fries are yummy, and the burger was perfect for what I needed a solid meal since I hadn't eaten in almost 9 hours. Yep sounds like a personal problem. But hey at least the food here has been perfect both times. Maybe next time I will buy a shirt or at least some root beers to go with me. My burger was a true knife and fork meal. At least I am too old to be wearing my chili all over my beard and shirt. Highly recommend if in the area and it is only 5 miles off the interstate. Drive in and enjoy a yummy meal.

To my dismay, they arrived completely overcooked and unappetizingly brown. To add insult to injury, my toast was burnt to a crisp, nearly charred to a shadow of what it should have been. When I pointed this out to the waitress, her nonchalant response was, "It's kind of burnt," as if there are acceptable levels of burn. In my opinion, when the toast is predominantly black, it clearly falls into the category of "burnt." The overall quality of the meal was abysmal, and it was evident that the staff couldn't have cared less about my experience. While I was not charged for the meal, I wouldn't have paid for it even if I had to. There's simply no way I could bring myself to eat here again. Curiously, my husband ordered a similar omelette, but his came out perfectly yellow and appetizing, along with toast that was actually edible. This made me wonder if my request not to burn my food inadvertently insulted the cook, leading to my meal being intentionally scorched. After sending the dish back, I received not a word of apology or even an offer to prepare something else. It was a complete lack of customer service. This review, without a doubt, has to be the most negative I've ever written. Normally, I refrain from posting bad reviews because I understand that everyone can have an off day. If a restaurant attempts to rectify their mistakes, I tend to be forgiving. But in this case, the food was nothing short of garbage on a plate, and the indifference from the staff was glaring.
