I needed two spark plugs for a Yamaha engine. Out of stock but could be ordered for next day by o'reilly for $8 each. against my better judgement (based on past experience )I give North End Cycle a call. the parts person tells me they have two for $10 each . So ok more expensive but in stock. I drive there girl behind the counter advises that they have them. Ok ring it up. She says that'll be $35 for two? Huh? Well she says, they were 10 each but now they are 17! I knew better than to give them a chance but I did it anyway. I am totally done with north end, too many poor transactions. read more

Very disappointing sales transaction. My parents went and bought a new Polaris 4 wheeler for my son. My mom asked if there were any discounts and she was told yes, $800.00. Wow! That a huge discount! The starting price was $3,599.00 - the price they paid was $4, 294.14. I called Leaders RPM in Kalamazoo, MI and I could get the exact same one out the door with no discounts for $4,046.64. I don't know this dealership so there were no promised discounts!!! My point is that my parents know the owner of North End Cycle- they sold them hay and have bought other things over the years there. They were told they were getting an $800.00 discount! What they got was screwed!!! I called and spoke with the sales guy today Bob Curtis. He told me that it was a $5,000.00 machine. I told him MSRP on it is $3599.00 and he said yes! He said they can charge whatever they want for it. He said my parents did get a $7- discount. I call Bull----! He proceeded to tell me that the dealer only made $57.00 off the sale. So, I am guessing the rest of the $ went in his pocket. I told him that he spelled my dads last name wrong on the title- he couldn't even do that right. I told him that word of mouth is the best advertising there is and I would make sure everyone knows what happened to my parents and this sale. I told him that we would never do business again with the dealership and he said good, he doesn't want to do business with people like us and then he hung up on me! Very unprofessional! He could of asked what would rectify the situation and I would of said giving my parents back the difference from what the other dealerships invoice was. Saturday Feb 5,2022 Looking for snowmobile parts so I called North End Cycle since I purchased my sled from here. Was totally disappointed with the service I did/did not get from this company. I placed the call and was put on hold for 20 minutes. The guy got on the phone and was absolutely rude. He stated he was busy and couldn't deal with anyone on the phone as the people that were at the store was more important. He then proceeded to say that if we really needed anything we would have to come into the store and wait our turn. I am two hours from this store and would of went in to get my parts I needed to order. But as it is the rude service I got on the phone there is no way I will be back there for anything from them. To say the least they need to work on there customer service. There might of been a good reason as to why I needed to call in and not come in. You were getting my money either way. But not now. First time at the new facility. Was happy that I called for an appt and they told me I could just bring it in for an oil change. Last time they had told me it would be 6 weeks to get it in. I went in on a Friday morning and they got to work on it right away. Took less than an hour. My only complaint was I paid extra so they would check over the bike to make sure it was good for the season. When I picked up the bike there was nothing on the receipt about what all they checked. I ended up asking the mechanic and he verbally told me about what he sound. Would like to see them use something like when you get oil changed on your car and gives you a list of wear on brakes etc. read more

after being a long time customer I purchased I used motorcycle from North end in 2018. given the age of the motorcycle at the time of the purchase I inquired whether or not service and maintenance would ever be an issue and was assured they would never be a problem. now they refuse to schedule appointments for maintenance or service on the machine. Citing a policy of not working on machines over 20 years old. completely unethical business practices. read more

I called ahead to see if they had time to do an oil change on my bike. Yep no problem bring it in. The mechanic was great letting me know about my front tire wear so I asked how long? He said one more hour and I had already been there over an hour. It was just over 2 1/2hours of waiting around today. They had my mechanic doing other things while my bike and I sit. I do not suggest waiting on service at this dealership. I have had no issues dropping it off but that gives them most of a day to work in whatever. read more

Got an "out the door" price on a bike where they subtracted the value of my trade, but didn't add back in what I still owed on my trade. So all the while they were giving me a "price" that was over 5 grand below what the price really was. If you're going to include my trade in the math, you have to include what I owe on it.
