The pizza here is amazing. It's kind of that Greek style pizza with thick crust and lots of cheese. We customized our order and got the white sauce with garlic shrimp and feta - amazing! The prices are extremely reasonable here too - if you are on a budget, this is the place to eat lunch/supper. The atmosphere - well, I wouldn't go for a romantic meal here - but it's great for families and is very casual. The location is fantastic. You heard me! North Face is a great little pizza joint in downtown Jasper. The pizzas are delicious here and true to the simple American/Canadian style of pizzas. They aren't trying to make Italian pizzas, Europeans! I like that it is so much like a small town pizzeria run by high school kids. A decent list of burgers and sandwiches, decent tasting fries, a few predictable beer options, a couple of pasta options as well. I enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich here the other day too. Everything is affordable from less than $10 a head to about $15. I haven't tried all the pizza joints in Jasper, but for me North Face stands out for its simplicity of being so Canadian! After a VERY long day of riding, from Vancouver to Jasper, we were just way too tired to eat out, especially since it was now around 8pm in the evening. So instead, we ask the gal at our guest house, to recommend both mobile pizza and mobile wine. Recommend she does and to our surprise, she knocked it out of the park. The pizza arrived quickly, was nice and hot and absolutely DEELISH!!!!!!!!!!!! Since they don't deliver liquid grapes, we had to call 780 852 wine. Although the booze delivery was also quick (both deliveries actually arrived at the same time, about 15-20 minutes after our initial call), the bottle of wine delivered, at a cost of about $18cad, the wine itself was absolute red colored shit in a bottle, from the world unrenowned vineyards of Ontario?!? Next time, I'll just walk over and pick something out, instead of relying on phone guy. No worries though, as the one glass consumed did help to wash down the yummy pizza that we enjoyed, morsel by tasty morsel. Good times in the Canadian Rockies!!! read more

G A R B A G E I have never, EVER thought I would experience such TRASH food in my life... I can assure you a bear wouldn't eat this food; maybe it would even work as bear repellent. First of all, "Hot". Does the word "hot" sound like Bucket of GREASY gravy to you?? Because in their menu, it meant to take a plain burger, and dump gravy on it. Not in it, ON IT. I searched "hot burger", "hot gravy burger", "hot burger jasper", etc. And NOTHING came up as disgusting as this one at North Face Pizza. Besides the "burger", the fries tasted like someone consumed the greasiest oil and threw up and then boiled it and then made fries with it. The toilet was my home for that night. I got VERY sick. I got a picture of it half eaten, but I'll spare you and not put a picture of it on here. But let me tell you, there was 4 of us we all had a little nibble to see if we liked it so I promise you that was not all eaten by me, but I will say, that was NOT a hot burger. I was going between 3-4 stars in this. I really wanted to leave 4 but overall it was just average. We went here in a recent trip on a local recommendation. I ordered a 12" pizza and large salad to split. After sitting down for a few minutes I realized I was only charged for a pizza. I went back to the counter to ask about it and they informed me I was correct and they didn't add the salad, they also said the pizza would be done soon. I asked if they could keep the pizza warm for a few more minutes and get us the salad. They did and I paid for a salad. The salad was pretty good for a pizza place salad. Then we got the pizza 1/2 meat and 1/3 Hawaiian I think. It was just average imo. My wife liked it more than I did. The crust didn't taste like homemade or look like it. I worked in an Italian place for a couple years (many years ago) and have made my fair share of pizzas from scratch but it's been a few years. The toppings were ok as with the sauce. It could have used a little more cheese. The staff was nice even though he forgot to add the salad. So it was close to 4 stars but just not quite. Can I leave 3.5 stars? lol read more

The staff was friendly, I had a cheese burger and poutine that I ended up sharing with everyone and both were really good. The only complaint would be the pizza we got for the kids was undercooked, the cheese wasn't completely melted and just wasn't right. this place is probably the cheapest option you have in jasper, and it's pretty solid. they have a wide variety of options on their menu, besides just pizza - poutine, salads, burgers, etc - but my brother and i ordered an 8" pizza with mushroom and a 10" hawaiian. the pizza was pretty solid-tasting cold the following day, which is a pretty good measurement of the pizza. only downfall was that the service of the food was slow -- it took us about 20 minutes to get our food, though it was hot out of the oven. i definitely agree with rosalind d., who says that this place is "is an average pizza shop and one of the only reasonably priced options for eating out in Jasper. DIdn't try the pizza, but the poutine was right on. Service was fine. What stood out to me was the choice of music. Aqua, Macy Gray, TLC. I enjoyed song after song while eating in there! We ordered some delivery, specially a half and half pizza and some wings. There aren't too many choices in Jasper and we like to try everyone. The pizza arrived and they did a good job on it, although some of the other reviews on here gave me a slightly different impression as to what I was going to get. It's not "Deep Dish", not that the restaurant promotes it but a number reviews seemed to indicate it. They did an excellent job of keeping the two sides separate. Sounds funny, but it matters somedays with some toppings. Pizza was quite tasty and the veggies still crunchy. The wings are another matter. When I order Buffalo Style Wings, or just Hot Wings, I expect something probably oven roasted, sometimes deep fried, dripping in Hot Sauce. Nope, I opened a nice heavy container and was greeted but some of the most anemic and sad looking wings. They looked almost sick. Little, if any, residue of sauce. Came in here after being referred by Yelp when another restaurant fell through, me and my family were not disappointed with what we received. On a weekday early evening, not too many people in the place, but it wasn't busy season in the area as it is. Reasonable sized place, enough for about 25 or so people to sit down. Clean, and inviting as a small town pizza shop can be. Two guys behind the counter working hard to crank out the mostly delivery orders that were being called in. We sat down with a couple beers and ordered a pizza, some buffalo wings, and onion rings and definitely weren't disappointed. The pizza, at a large, was rated at 12", but it seems I've been trained to appreciate larger pizza having lived in New York City for the past few years. Needless to say, it was piping hot, little heavy on the cheese but not out of reason, and a normal amount of toppings. It was delicious though. The buffalo wings hit the spot -- the right combination of tasty and spicy, not too deep fried. The onion rings were standard issue, crispy and pretty good. The price was a bit steeper than I'd like, but in a tourist town like this, it was pretty much on par with anything else you'd find out there. Overall, a good experience. I'd go back for the pizza and wings, for sure. If I lived here, it'd probably be a fave spot. read more

Great location, dirty restaurant. North face pizza is located on the main strip of jasper Alberta, with beautiful views of the mountains, and a train, you should be able to enjoy a lovely meal. But you do not, this place is dirty, dirty, cold and did I mention DIRTY? Yeah, this place is a joke. The food is pitiful and so is the "service"! No hairnets on the cooks, people beside is found numerous hairs in their pizza and they lost their appetite. So did we. We waited 15 minutes for wings and another 20 on top of that for a poutine! The food didn't even taste good, it lacked in any taste at all.
