Great wood fired pizza, cool vibe, and good service. Wasn't expecting great pizza in a resort town, but this place surprised us. I love wood fired pizza, and this place has the same kind of pizza oven that you see at the pizzerias in Italy. The service was great and the pizzas were ready pretty quickly. They must have put a lot of work into how to get the pizzas ready fast, as the restaurant was pretty busy yet we got ours within 10 minutes of ordering. I will be craving this pizza from California for a long time! The wood fired crust was perfection just enough crunch with a soft fluffy inside; sauce had a little tang to it which helped it shine amongst the crust and toppings. My daughter wasn't in the mood for pizza so she had the burger and fries. The fries were fantastic (crunch and just enough flavor and salt) and she was very happy with her burger stating that the burger sauce was good and the meat perfectly balanced to the bun. Solid restaurant for pizza and pub food in Jasper - with the added bonus of rooftop views of the gorgeous mountains and railroad at the edge of town. The roof is semi-covered and has some heaters, but it can still get chilly especially if there isn't very much sun. You can also opt to sit downstairs in the dining room to hide from the elements. Service is friendly if not particularly quick, and your fellow diners will be mostly tourists. The menu is comprised of a variety of different pizzas with both thin and pan crust options, and a small local beer selection. The pizza is, well... pizza. Similarly, the other apps and beer were not amazing but will certainly hit the spot at the end of a long day of hiking. The tiramisu wasn't really tiramisu, but more coffee-flavored sponge cake. All the sodium made us pretty thirsty, and unfortunately the staff were pretty slow at coming by to refill water - although we did get more time to enjoy the scenery and listen to the pop music through the speakers. read more

Really enjoyed the pizza place. We saw on the rooftop deck which was so nice - beautiful views. The location is perfect right on the main street. They don't take reservations, but we were lucky enough to get sat pretty quickly even with a large group of 8. The menu offers lots of different pizzas and appetizers. We tried the beet salad and the jalapeno poppers to start. Both were delicious. The pizza was also really good. We got the large size and there was plenty of pizza for a few of us. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor rooftop dining area that offers a nice view of the town. My friends and I ordered the poutine, Il Fuoco, and the Canadian. It was our first time trying poutine and we thoroughly enjoyed it even though it was a bit salty. The Il Fuoco has a good amount of spice but I loved how thin the pizza was. These people use the temporary foreign worker program. They're basically the Tim Hortons of pizza. The food is overpriced and mediocre at best. The service is terrible because nobody can speak english all that well. They will add an autogratuity for larger tables so they really don't have to give good service because they're getting tipped regardless. The owners are anti Canadian and you should absolutely skip this place. If you want a real local business go to North Face Pizza. We dined here on our last night in Jasper. We were trying not to have leftovers, and it seemed like splitting a small pizza might be the way to go. This place seemed to have decent reviews and was in the middle of the main business strip just across from the large parking lot. As we arrived, it appeared that it might start raining, but it was hard to say. I was interested in sitting on their (covered) rooftop deck but given the rain chance we bailed on that and just sat inside. They have a patio also. I did not investigate rooftop, but the inside area appeared to be about 4 - 5 times the size of the patio. There was no wait when we got there, but given how busy the downtown area is, I could easily see this having one later in the evening. Their menu had a large array of stock pies, but you did have the option of make-your-own too. They don't do half one way and half another, so just decide on what you want on the whole thing. We ordered the smaller size with about 3 ingredients (plus cheese, which you have to select). Service seemed fairly swift as they probably want to keep turning over tables; I didn't feel rushed though. Our pizza came out fairly soon, and we both agreed that it was good. We finished it as planned. This was the only pizza we tried while in Jasper, so I can't say how it may compare to other places. However, from our experience this seemed like a solid choice for above-average pizza. read more

We came here for lunch just before leaving town, sad to leave but this was a nice end. It was a Monday so the place was dead, most people are here for weekends and holidays, so I wasn't surprised. Service was fine, no complaints. The place has a big wood fired pizza oven which you can see from your seats. We tried a local beer called Rockhopper IPA it was so good! For our meals we ordered the Five Acres wood fired pizza, which was very good. It had a lovely thin crust with mushrooms and pesto and I'm pretty sure the sundried tomatoes are made in house, they were so fresh and soft, not like most which are dried out and chewy. We ordered late night pizza from this place as it was the only place still open at 11:00pm. Luckily they even had delivery so we were able to get them to deliver the pizza directly to our room at the motel. I ordered the smoked salmon with capers snd red onions and a white sauce. It was hot, fresh, and delicious upon arrival! It was a little on the pricey side but I guess that's the trade off for being the only late night pizza delivery in Jasper on a Thursday. Stopped by the town of Jasper and found this restaurant on Google Maps and decided to give it a try based on good reviews. We went for dinner and the staff politely asked for proof of vaccination. We sat at the rooftop patio and it offered a very nice mountain view with heaters to keep us warm. We ordered the Golden Duck pizza, cauliflower bites and onion rings. The pizza was pretty good (a little bit spicy) but we couldn't locate the duck in the toppings. The cauliflower bites was a bit hard to bite into. Onion rings were average. This is a delicious, casual restaurant with very good pizzas, both traditional and gourmet options, and pasta. Fun drinks, good wine and an excellent view on the rooftop bar. They offer "custom" pizzas but also have a regular pepperoni pizza or cheese pizza "off menu" without the custom menu price. Just ask. Service was excellent. My wife wanted pizza and because she needs to eat Gluten Free and MSG free it is sometimes hard to find a pizza place. We called ahead and were assured there were GF options and not MSG in the meats or sauces. Our server was wonderful - helpful, personable, and very efficient. Really liked her a lot. My Hawaiian pizza was excellent - really enjoyed it. My wife's GF free pizza was also good. The only reason I didn't give a 5/5 is the price. From my perspective the pricing was probably about 10-15% too high. But with the food being as good as it was, we will likely return to eat here again. read more

So glad we decided to stop here for our last night in Jasper. Not only was the food delicious, they also have a nice big patio that is pet friendly! That was a huge appeal for our group since we had our dog with us. I can't comment much on the inside of the restaurant because I didn't go in this time. It was lovely to be able to eat outside and enjoy the mountain views, by the time we left after dinner, there was a lineup all along the sidewalk to get in. There's lots of options to choose for food, including a variety of pizzas, burgers, and pastas. The have a kids menu as well, and it appears to be a very family friendly place. Excellent wood fired pizza with a number of high quality micro-brewed beers. There is a deck on top of the restaurant with views of the surrounding mountains in Jasper. The servers all have a fun outgoing personality and add to the party like environment. The manager (owner?) also had a deep knowledge of the local beers in the area explaining where each was made.
