I always try and use local, family owned companies to support them and the community I live in (St. Charles) I had some electronic/ignition issues with my truck and took it to a few places around town and no one could figure it out (no check engine light or error codes). I herd about North Fifth Auto repair from a friend and figured I'd give them a try. Jaime was the only mechanic that could figure exactly what was wrong with my truck while trying to keep the diagnostic cost as low as possible and made the repair the same day. I was really impressed and after all the trouble shooting he gave me a couple options from a "quick fix" to a more permanent repair. I choose the best option since he earned my trust being the only person to actually pinpoint the problem and now my truck is running like New again. Jesse was also very easy to work with as my schedule/budget is tight at the moment they dropped my truck off while I was at work. Hands down great experience! I went to a few different auto repair shops and by a considerable amount of money they gave me a lower estimate which ended up being a few dollars less at checkout! I had to have tie rods replaced from shaking in my vehicle when braking that I was told about a month ago at my last oil -They were polite, efficient, and helpful with any questions I had.
