Ate here on vacation and was very happy. Great location downtown in the middle of everything. Plenty of parking nearby. Nice bonus when you walk in of heaters over benches if you have to wait! What brought us in was noting the local sourced ingredients and reasonable prices on the menu. Both were true and did not disappoint. Beef is local along with the chicken. 3 of us got burgers and one a salmon skillet. The burgers are all waygu. Mine had a great beefy taste and was well seasoned. The burger can stand out on its own. My rattlesnake had guacamole, jalepeno, pepper jack cheese and bun sauce. Very tasty! Waffle fries were very good and the fry sauce was yummy. First time having fry sauce and I am hooked. The SnakeBite is very popular and can have about 15-30 mins wait on weekends so make sure to account for that. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The vibe inside is of an authentic, local Idaho Falls restaurant. We got the wagyu double burger which came with waffle fries. Both the burger and fries were delicious and highly recommended. Borrowing an expression from Guy Fieri, this was a trip to flavor town! I walked in on Tues evening and got seated right away. It's part sports bar, part restaurant and has outside seating for a neighborhood cafe feel for when the weather is nice. The menu consists of a decent selection of appetisers, burgers, "handhelds", salads, pastas and entrees. I ordered the Candied Sriracha Salmon. It comes on a bed of "snakebite" rice with grilled veggies. Since I missed lunch I was afraid it would take awhile to get my food because they were decently busy. I was pleasantly surprised! I was shortly presented with a freshly grilled, decent sized piece of salmon exactly as described in the menu. I was pleasantly surprised to see the grilled veggies only consisted of three onion pieces (I hate onions). The rest were mushrooms, red peppers and yellow and green squash. The salmon was grilled to the specifications I had ordered (through). It had a nice crisp on the outside but was tender and juicy inside, despite being cooked the way I like it! It was topped with a small dollop of lemon herbed butter and microgreens. The outside was deliciously but not overly coated with the candied sriracha. Oh my yummmmm. I ate every single bit of it, which is a rarity. For a drink I chose water with lemon. The waitress was attentive and never let my glass get under halfway empty. Great service, great food and a fun atmosphere that would be great for a date night, fun with friends or the fam. Heck yes I recommend this place!! It's in a cool looking building in the downtown area of Idaho Falls. Parking on the street (one way streets). There are probably parking garages around, too. I've just been lucky when I've been here. The Hell's Canyon chicken sandwich is delicious! I'm a newbie to blue cheese, but the house green chili blue cheese is amazing.

On my first day here in Idaho falls I stopped here for a nice tuna melt and the service was very pleasant.

Tried it again today. Still not that impressed. Tried the tri tip sandwich today. Very dry tasteless meat and small serving size. This visit just solidifies that we will not be back. read more

Burgers, chicken sandwiches, creative salads, steak, etc. Wagyu beef was one of the specials tonight. They have several craft beer options, but somewhat limited. The service was great and very friendly! The inside is nicely decorated. It had a really good vibe. There is a bar and tv. I ordered the Snake River burger medium rear which was cooked perfectly. It was tender and juicy. However, the bun was dry and it really need something more like a sauce or something. It just lacked flavor. The dry bun ruined the juicy patty. Also, they don't offer American cheese for it. The waffle fries were great! I also ordered the pickle chips which were so salty I hardly ate them. The house ranch that came with them was outstanding!! My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. We have never seen such funny eggs. It was like yellow water floating on the plate. I'm not talking yolk running on the plate. It literally looked like yellow water. The biscuit was not a biscuit. It was a cross between corn bread and pancake mix. We should have sent it back. I'm super sad about the dramatic decline of a beloved IF restaurant. Ever since the new owners have taken over it's been nothing but downhill. Recipes changes are obviously a way to cheap out while prices have gone up. Snakebite used to be my favorite restaurant- but not anymore. Let me start with the fact that the food is very good....That being said, the waiter we had was pretty terrible. I ordered a soda and after 5 min or so all the mixed drinks came out and he asked if we needed anything else., I told hime I would like my soda and he had forgotten I had ordered it. when he came back he brought 2 waters and no soda again. Finally brought it the third time, had to be asked to refill it halfway through the meal and thought he was funny, but just came off rude and pompous. At the end, he would not let me touch the card reader so I was forced to just give a 20% tip, which I absolutely would not have given him. Great food! Grabbed a bite for dinner, a few apps, the Blue Cheese burger, and a basket of tots which we liked more than the fries. Then went back for Sunday Brunch, which everything taste great. my husband got the yellowstone burger (we think) but subbed the sirloin for wagyu. the wagyu was amazing. had a good smokey flavor. i got the blackened atlantic salmon. it was the yummiest lemon butter on top but the salmon was a little dry. the rice was good but has a strong dark flavor. lots of good flavor but not life changing. we got the fried pickle chips appetizer and those were bomb. super crispy and yummy. if we came back we'd try burgers, wings, or the fish tacos. overall great flavor and a super yummy burger! wish my salmon was better but maybe it was just the chef? our waitor was so sweet and gave the best recommendations (like getting the wagyu beef on the burger!) it is the cutest restaurant and we loved reading the story on the wall! read more

OMG! Went for a burger as others posted they were great. Ended up ordering the Salmon sandwich (the one without peppers) but I wanted the pesto so they gladly gave me a side! Had the side salad to substitute fried. The salmon! OMG! Grilled perfectly, seasoned exceptionally. Totally unexpected large slab of salmon on the hoagie roll! It's was so good I didn't want my experience to end! Hubby had the Ho(something) chicken sandwich and he raved about it!
