This cafe is attached to the Idaho Potato Museum and the food is just fantastic - we had a great experience!! Delicious, harty foods on a very cold, snowy day to refuel after our busy museum visit! Decent menu, lots of fun potato candy to try - even cupcakes! And friendly staff - can't go wrong here. I tried their baked potato with poutine on top and it was SO good! My son got their baked potato soup with potato roll and I had a sample taste - best thing we ordered! Creamy and smooth and full of flavor - it was excellent - and the roll that came with it was soft and so delicious. We also tried a couple of their potato cupcakes - one vanilla and one chocolate - both excellent flavors and very soft and velvety. You'd never know they were made out of potato haha! I also grabbed some of their various local candies made from potato - very fun souvenirs and all tasted good. I had no idea you could do so much with potato haha!! There's plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, coffee on the menu, cozy seating - very great addition to our museum visit!

I found this place on yelp and it was on our way back to the hotel so decided to stop by. Idaho is know for the potato state so it is as once in a life time experience. The parking is on the side. There's a giant potato in front. It was my husband, my 4 year old son , and me it cost $12. It is a very small museum but definitely a lot of history in there. It's two large rooms. Then there's a small gift shop and a small restaurant at the end. Everyone is so nice there. If you're in the area stop by.

The café at the potato museum in Blackfoot Idaho. I'd be surprised if this isn't the worlds best baked potato it's a russet Norkota

I'd be surprised if this wasn't the worlds best baked potato. It's a Norkotah Russet and it's simply amazing!

After exploring potato museum we decided to try the potato station cafe. From the menu we ordered Fried Potato along with the fries. The service was good and we got our food in 10-15 minutes. The fried potato with different ingredients as well as sauces was amazing and we loved its taste. The fries that we ate were also good. Loved the cafe.

The women with medium length red/light brown hair was incredibly sweet. She made my visit there delightful. The potato soup was creamy and rich and was ready quickly. I enjoyed my visit here and to the museum.

The potatoes are delicious, comes with topping of the day. They have a topping bar also Can't say a lot about potatoes.

Rough on the outside, but tender in the inside. Great Idaho potatoes selection in town. They are creamy and delicious.

The food was good but I saw one of the employees take out the trash and make food without washing his hands.

The staff was SUPER friendly! So kind and didn't mind us sitting in the corner for a few hours while we worked. The internet worked great! We had both breakfast and lunch here. For breakfast, she warned my fiancé that the pancakes were huge! For lunch we split a sandwich and they split it onto two plates for us, which was so nice of them. Sadly they close in the afternoon otherwise we'd have stayed even longer and kept working and purchasing. It is attached to the gas station shop and shares a bathroom, that's a little weird but the good food and kind people makes up for it. We had "sidewinders" which I'll include a picture of they're the potatoes that look kind of curly, they're delicious!

We also ordered and paid for an omelette with a side dish of hashbrowns. Didn't get hashbrowns!!! We thought we were the subjects of a practical joke because the food we did get was a joke!!! We want a refund!! I wish I had checked my to go order before driving off. Had I looked in the bag I would have asked for a $18 refund!!

Gift shop has some great items from unique tshirts to potato soap. There is something for everyone. Admission is not too expensive. 2 adults and 2 students for 25. Inside are 2 large areas. You get multiple displays on the history, how chips and crisps are made, how potatoes are grown and harvested. There is a small room with several short videos. Definitely do not miss. Watching how fries are made and seeing tractor history we're neat. In the back are some tractors, potato sack machine and a kids area. Some fun games on huge touch screens were fun for all ages. See how fast you can peel a potato. Cafe in the back is a great way to end. Your choice of fries, tots or baked potatoes. Also a few sweet items and some bottled drinks. We got 2 Idahoan potatoes and the Jackson Hole sodas. Baked potatoes were great and they gave lots of toppings: bacon, butter, sour cream and cheese. Yummy! Sodas were very good with unique flavors like huckleberry and strawberry rhubarb. Take your team, read the displays, watch the videos and have your favorite potatoe dish at the end. You will spend 60-90 minutes and be better educated for it.
