It's official!!! I now have 14 tatts. Most are very small until now. This is my biggest one yet. They are addictive...like popcorn, you just keep popping one kernel after the other into your mouth. After looking at the artists on Instagram, my sis, daughter and I contacted Ely Carrera. *We DM'd her and she got back to us right away. We picked agreed on a day & time then sent her pics of what we wanted. When we arrived at the studio she greeted us and had our tattoos already drawn and waiting for our approval. Once we confirmed the design and placement we were ready to become her human canvas:) Ely was very professional, friendly and worked very closely on my design. Just got my back dimples pierced today by Claudia and she's is a Jem! I've had them pierced before twice in my life time and both times they rejected & they where crooked & I was told it was because my tattoo was crooked, she made sure to take her time and get them straight for me. She was very gentle and quick I was surprised that it wasn't as painful as the other times I've had them done. I'd say it was pain level of like 3/4 out of 10. I am very satisfied. Where do I start! This is the ONLY shop I will ever feel comfortable going to for many reasons... But two huge reasons... Steven and Kat! The talent that both of these artists posses is beyond amazing. Kat is a freakin genius when it comes to color saturation and creative designs, Steven is out of this world talented in everything he tattoos and his spooky aesthetic is my jam! I have gotten 3 tattoos with Kathleen and every experience has been nothing short of amazing. The shop is really clean and I love seeing how each artist has their station decorated. They also really good about making you feel comfortable and following Covid-19 guidelines. Kat is such a kind hearted artist and really goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable through the the process. She checks in to make sure you okay and taking breaks when needed. She also is upfront about the tattoo healing process and lets you know colors will fade and if you see anything you feel is off to communicate with her and she will touch up if necessary. She also provides you with a tattoo after care card. I have nothing but positive things to say about Kathleen. She did two custom pieces and even added color to another tattoo I had. The place is in a mellow little neighborhood and it's a cute and comfortable space w good vibes. Claudia gave me a dermal at another place and I came to this one for her to check up on it (no fault of hers) and give me a couple extra lobe piercings. She's so sweet and chill and real which is refreshing, easy to talk to and very quick. My dermal healed very fast (friends were shocked) no swelling, minimal bleeding and crusting. My lobe piercings seem to be following suit so far - minimal bleeding and swelling! Anyways Claudia is awesome and I will go to her and only her for all my piercing needs. But she clearly got the DM I sent her, knowing I was trying to reach her. After feeling like I was being ignored, I respectfully told Daniel I was no longer interested in a touch up by Kathleen, and he went out of his way to offer to do it himself for free. At first I agreed, but then I found out the artist(Kathleen) blocked me? Lol This was my second tattoo done by her, so obviously I respected and trusted her work! I just simply wanted a response, and a touch up after the 400$ I spent on this tattoo. But I guess her respect for me as a client wasn't mutual. I appreciate Daniel trying to fix the situation. I checked out his Instagram and his work is amazing!!! Although I did not get any work done by him, I would highly recommend him! I respect him for going out of his way to fix the issue. I had an amazing experience, from start to finish. The atmosphere is macabre, and coincidentally very much my jam. All the artists were kind, qualified, and overly hospitable. I even played classic N64 and sipped gatorade in the lobby while my wife got her tat. Then came mine, and Steven (IG: mourningmisery) was extremely communicative, as well as the process leading up to the day. He was patient as we 'trial and error'ed the preliminary design before starting, and he proactively helped problem-solve the issue. Once he started inking, he was considerate to my posture and my occasional need to adjust. The guy was professional and cool, all the way. I got a 35mm film strip looped around my lower leg and it's already healed nicely. Zero post issues and I'm damn glad I got it specifically from this location. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted right away by the owner (Jeffrey) of the shop which is pretty amazing because a lot of owner's are too stuck up to even look your way. Secondly, they have a Nintendo game system so you can play while waiting to get tattooed and free candy in case your sugar level goes low while getting tattooed and plus free water! Just make sure to not set on the peanuts before you enter the shop because those are for the neighborhood squirrel. I have been here twice to get tattooed by Steven. Not only is he a talented tattoo artist but he's also pretty calm when tattooing you which is great for someone like myself who gets anxiety when being tattooed. He's energy helped mine to stay calm. You can give him ideas and he comes up with such mind blown tattoo designs, I just can't wait to get more from Steven. There were several red flags when being pierced by claudia. starting off, she never checked my anatomy, and didn't disinfect the area. after that she proceeded to pierce my septum. it wouldn't go through so she pierced it again. i was given a mirror at the end of the session and realized that it was crooked. i was hopeful it was just swelling but contacted her and was told to remove it. she was willing to repierce me and i was down but after awhile i was uncomfortable getting it done for a third time. after telling her my concerns and asking for a refund, since i no longer have the piercing in my nose, she told me "it's a tattoo shop. we don't do refunds." as if I'm out of line for asking. i've been to several tattoo shops and have never had an issue like this. i also would never ask a tattoo artist for a refund since it's permanent but i don't even have the piercing anymore in my nose and it was done wrong TWICE. 100 dollars down the drain for not checking my anatomy properly, sending me home knowing she had pierced it incorrectly, and for not explaining any shop policies. crazy disappointing. read more

Very low pain tolerance. This was my 5th tat. All relatively small in size. This is the first one I got with a little color in it. Love it. Very affordable price. Every artist there is amazing and top notch, but I highly recommend the owner Daniel (Danskyland_tattoo on instagram). He has done almost 2 sleeves for me, a chest piece, sternum, stomach, tight, leg, ankle... you name it. Daniel is professional, kind, flexible, always wants your tattoo to look the best, incredibly talented, and always top tier everytime. So, Kat left this studio and I'm honestly really happy for her. She is an excellent artist and does not deserve the crap going on here. I previously left a 5star review because of her, but now my review goes down to 1 star. Firstly, Danny was a complete jerk to Kat while she was tattooing me. I also work in the service industry and if a colleague started talking **** in front of a client while I was working on them, I would be beyond livid. Completely unprofessional. Secondly, a few months prior I got my nose pierced by Claudia. 1) she was late due to a "flat tire" 2) my nose would not stop bleeding to the point where I almost went to the ER. She tried to say I must be on medication. Nope, I have had over 20 piercings in my life and I have never had that issue, and don't really appreciate getting blamed! 3) When I came in for other reasons I tried to schedule a jewelry change and she just never responded. Then 4) I tried last week to get a jewelry change for the 3rd time and she had a "flat tire" again. I call BS. Go see Kat elsewhere and F this place. read more

What can I say about this tattoo shop. I have been coming to this tattoo shop for about 5 + years now period when it was under different ownership and called another name. This is what one may call "My Home shop" because I have had most of my tattoos (And I have great number of them) done by every tattoo artist currently there. @davegrinds has done my chest and right arm 3/4 sleeve. I've know Dave for about 20 years. He has also tattooed other members of my family @deidgedunham has done a few "hybrid animals" some other unique designs on my thighs and hamstrings. Which are all original designs created by her. @danskyland_tattoo has also done quite a few original "Hybrid animal" designs on my upper legs as well. Which I may add are quite large in size @_miserymachine has is some what new to tattooing but is very talented and skilled. Steven has done 3 "Horror Movie Villians" tattoos on my lower legs. Smaller in size but packed full of detail. And last but far from least @theartofjeffery I have one tattoo from Jeffrey is serious amazing at "Black and grey" tattoos! I will get another tattoo be Jeffrey in the future. I always do recommend these artists and the shop to people asking me for advice on where to go to get tattoo.
