At the shop, you can expect a sterile environment, but the vibes are wayyyy cool. Allen was thorough with his explanations and quelled any nerves that I had. He was very knowledgeable and his years of experience was comforting. I ended up with a gold 2mm stud and it looks great. Did it hurt? A little, but I feel like I get hurt when I get up from a long nap, so what do I know. Definitely would recommend this shop and Allen. He's great vibes, funny, super clean and very professional. He even laughed at all my jokes so that a plus for me. Fulfilled my midlife crisis goal.

I came into the shop as a Hail Mary just to see if they carried something that would fit the studs I already owned. Not only was Allen able to help me and replace the flat backs on my existing jewelry, he also informed me that my naval piercing that fell out months ago wasn't closed. Instead of having to re-pierce Allen advised me all I needed to do was buy or bring in jewelry and he'd insert it for me. I love the honesty and how helpful Allen was! I especially wanted to shout out Hernan for my navel piercing. He did a phenomenal job. He was communicative and completely open to my requests. It's been about three days now, and I'm honestly surprised by how little soreness and discomfort I've had. I'm a bigger guy with a stomach, so I was a little concerned about how a navel piercing would feel, especially since it's a high movement area. But after the first 12 hours, there is very little soreness, and I'm already noticing less discomfort when I move. I think a lot of that has to do with Hernan's skill and attention to placement. He checked the placement while I was standing, sitting, and laying down to see how my stomach and navel moved and sat in each position. That level of care really stood out to me and should be standard but isn't everywhere which is why I always go here. For any plus size person wondering if a navel piercing is possible or will heal well, it definitely will! It's more about your individual anatomy than your size, but having a knowledgeable piercer who understands anatomy of all sizes makes a huge difference. Everyone here is great. We got here and was welcomed by Jazmine who set us up with all the tatts we wanted and some custom ones to to her style and we loved every bit of them. For a small but very humble and friendly shop was more like being family and friends while being there for 2 days getting work done. Everyone is chill including the owner herself and everyone else that we met there. Probably the most enjoyful tatt experience I've had in a long time and I will be coming back when I go back out there. With Westside having a light hand I felt almost nothing while getting my arm done and most of us felt almost nothing. For those of us whom was on their first tattoo got reassured and made sure was ok as the piece was being done. I respect this heavily as a lot of places do not do this anymore.
