I would not recommend this company at all. They are looking for an excuse to scam you. I recently stayed in a North Lake Property Management unit in Palisades California while on a ski vacation. The room was fine. However upon leaving the cabin we were accused of loosing a room key we were never provided and they have charged me $75 for a piece of plastic that I never received. That's right $75 for a room key that resembles a credit card. On top of this we did not have trash bags in our unit the entire stay. Wasn't a big deal to be honest at the time and I likely would have never even complained or mentioned it... however after fighting them for two weeks about this room key. I mentioned the trash bags and they insisted that their "housekeeper" had stocked the place with trash bags and left us the third room key. Lies. Absolutely ridiculous. And they charged me. . Stay clear of this company. They will find a way to scam you read more

We recently rented a Lake Tahoe house through NLPM and was extremely disappointed as it was so poorly maintained and had other issues that impacted the enjoyment of our stay. First off, even before our arrival, NLPM sent us a note that the previous guests "trashed" the home we were about to stay in so we were warned to "take care of it". Upon arrival, the house which can accommodate up to 10 guests had no access to the garage (important for winter/ski season visitor) and that was NOT disclosed in the listing. Second, the house had all sorts of issues including mice (yes- scurrying around the lower level where there are bedrooms - horrifying), clogged bathroom drain, broken lamps, a broken sliding bathroom door (which locks someone in when they close it (terrifying) with a note on the door saying it was broken, so this was clearly a known issue. Finally, poorly stocked kitchen that lacked some basics like oven mitts so NLPM had to order some for delivery during our stay. While James was responsive to the complaints, dealing with an exterminator and plumber during a 4 night stay during the holidays was less than ideal. And to boot, NLPM complained that we left the house "dirty" for the cleaners. Yes, they had to clean and complained about it. For our next vacation, I'll be looking for a house managed by a diff company. read more

Upon arriving to James Cabin, we were ecstatic to find the cabin look exactly like the photos. Inside the cabin was just as impressive. The interior aspects of the cabin were very well kept. Kevin was fully stocked with toiletries and plenty of soaps, detergents, and cleaners for every day use. James is very communicable and responsive. My family and I stood for five nights and can attest this was by far the best bang for our buck. We will absolutely be coming back in the summer and plan to return for winter of 2025.
