This pizzeria sits inside The Greater Good bar. They don't have many options, but that may be good if you have trouble choosing. The majority of options are vegetarian, so if you need your meat you will be constrained. The pizza crust is very nice - light & thin with a texture (when fresh out of the oven) that reminds me of a light biscuit in a way that other thin crust pizzas don't (quite an achievement). After a short while it succumbs to entropy like all other thin crust pizzas though. They seem inspired by Italian tradition in not having many types of pizza, and not much of each topping. Too much of each topping would overload each slice both weight and tastewise but one still wishes sometimes for more on each slice (especially given the price). I tried Killer Bee. I found the jalapeño much too spicy, overwhelming the other flavours (my experience improved once I picked it out). The calabrese sausage was nice though there wasn't much of it & the honey offset the other flavours nicely.

This place is 5 stars in my heart but I have only been here once and need to come back to reconfirm my feelings. Food: I had the pepperoni pizza, the thin crust and overall toppings was a harmonious symphony in my mouth. The outer crust is covered in sesame seeds, I thought this elevated the crust. I heard Margherita, White and Killer Bee are their most popular pizzas. Service & atmosphere: You walk in and order your pizza from a mini cabin inside of the bar. The bartender and staff who took my order were kind and generous. The service I received was top notch. Pricing: A bit on the pricey side but for amazing tasting pizza, the price is justifiable.

Great Pizza, excellent service and tasty drinks. Not a bad start to dining out again! Three pizzas ordered. A couple of locally brewed beverages (drinks are ordered from "The Greater Good"). All delicious. Including mine which was made with vegan cheese. Was not a huge fan of the "next to the street" feel but with good company and great food it did not bother me at all. This is definitely a spot I will come to again and try all of the pizzas one by one and maybe all of the locally sourced craft beers and ciders.

Pizza is my weakness. If I could I would eat pizza everyday! (I know that sounds absurd but I totally would!) I discovered NOB through a friend and really enjoyed the pies they had to offer. This location (haven't been awhile) has great beers on tap! The atmosphere inside has a great upbeat vibe aswell! The upstairs has some arcade games which I find is a great bonus if wanting to hang about with some friends. Not to mention... the garlic dip is A1! I do miss the white base arugula pizza they offered... it was one of my favs!

I'm not even a huge fan of pizza but I LOVED the kale and bacon! It's such a good combination but needs to be eaten right away while the kale is crispy. We devoured the whole thing in the car, none made it back home.

The pizza here is amazing - thin crust, just the right amount of toppings and it tastes delicious no matter which flavour you go with. At the time I went, they had a "Kawhi pls stay" pizza but I'm not sure what that consisted of. I know!! This review is stupid overdue but honestly this place is probably one of my new fave spots for pizza! The service was good, friendly and they also have an arcade area upstairs.

Great pizza! Very crisp and light with a nice tangy sauce. One thing I will say is that the service could be improved. Everything was self service and fairly rushed.

This place makes great pizza and this bar has a great tap list. BUT they continually forget to send the right order when you order through Uber Eats so never trust them to do it correctly. They always forget the arugula and oil that they usually send in a separate box for their white pizza. So now I get to eat a plain cheese pizza like I'm fucking Kevin McCallister.

Amazing pizza! One of the best in the city. If New York style pizza is your thing this is the place to be in Toronto.

The line was short during a late lunch on a weekday, and if we had planned better, we would have ordered ahead because you can skip the line. The service was a bit slow; we were thinking they could make so much more money if they just had a New Yorker taking orders, but it was worth the wait for some piping hot, crispy crust. We got a few slices; mushroom blanco (we tasted some truffle oil), a vodka one (all pizza should be made with this sauce instead), a marg and a pepperoni. All the spots were taken outside so we walked 2 minutes to a park and crushed our pieces there and saw a number of others so the same. We brought our empty pizza box back to patio outside the restaurant where they have a designated container for them.

Would come here more often and would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for the long wait time outdoors…read more Parking is also hard to find nearby. We waited for 45 mins on a Friday evening, and ended up getting a parking ticket that was issued 10 mins before we were leaving. But I guess their set up does live up to the "neighborhood pizza" vibe. Their pizza is the best though and I'm not much of a pizza girl. My favourite is the burrata marinara because I find it so unique. The burrata is creamy and go so well against the crispness of the pizza. The vodka slice had the most insane cheese pull and I love that it doesn't have a strong tomato/sour taste. Next time we'll probably order ahead and just get a box!

The room is small, and the service was friendly. We shared a Caesar salad to start, which was simple but good. We had the duck confit white pizza and the Iberian red pizza. They were both quite tasty, and I reheated them the next morning on the frying pan for breakfast! They had some decent wines to choose from as well. Overall, we were both impressed with the good simple pizza. I think we've both kind of reached a saturation point with pretentious pizza spots, so this was a nice find in the middle of the financial district.

The food overall was fantastic: Caesar Salad - 4/5 very good, with crispy prosciutto and shaved Parmesan. The dressing had a tangy kick but was on the lighter side. Spaghetti Seafood - 5/5 YUMMY! There were large tiger shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, and salmon in a white wine tomato sauce. So good, loved the variety of seafood. One of better seafood pasta dishes I've had. Mushroom Mafalda - 5/5 HEAVEN! Mafalda pasta with four different mushrooms: cremini, oyster, portobello, and porcini. It's cooked in a truffle cream sauce and is a mushroom lover's dream! Absolutely delicious. The server was friendly but not attentive. She forgot a beer we ordered. Aside from that the food was overall so good I would most definitely come back again.

This place gets a solid 4.5/5 for its authentic southern Italian food and very friendly & attentive…read moreservice. It has a very homey, old-school Italian American restaurant ambience - the opposite of the stylish, hipster or touristy restaurant vibe. Apparently this restaurants gets a lot of regulars, and I could see why. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back to the 1960s with the red-and-white checkered tablecloths, red chairs, old-style wax candles, brick walls, and a large black-and-white photo of an Italian family on the wall (perhaps the founder or owner's?). I could see this place being a movie set for films that need an old, classic Italian American restaurant as a setting. In addition to the décor, I love the 1960s music being played in the background. Size-wise, the inside of the restaurant isn't that big so it feels very cozy. It can get very busy and crowded after 5 pm, as most people seem to come here for dinner. We came during lunch hour and we were the only patrons there. The southern Italian touches are very apparent in most of their dishes - with heavy reliance on olive oil, tomato-based sauces (especially in the fish and seafood dishes), fresh seafood, herbs, peppers, and vegetables such as eggplant. This is in contrast to northern Italian cuisine that is characterized by rich, creamy dishes using butter, lard, and cheeses, and puts more emphasis on rice, polenta, and meat-heavy dishes (where as seafood is more prevalent in the south). Dishes that we tried: 1) Baccala (Pan-Seared Black Cod) - This was the BEST and my favourite dish here. The black cod had a crispy exterior and flaky interior, and came with roasted mini potatoes and mixed vegetables (zucchini, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, eggplant) roasted with garlic -- such a well-rounded and wholesome dish. The roasted mini potatoes were so flavourful, and the vegetables had a nice char. I asked for the puttanesca sauce on the side, as the fish was already flavourful on its own without the sauce. But the sauce was better than I expected - it contained actual whole chunks of cherry tomatoes and olives. 2) Steamed Mixed Fish & Seafood in Tomato Sauce - This dish wasn't on the website menu, but it was on the printed menu in the restaurant. It reminded me of cioppino (Italian-American mixed seafood stew with tomato sauce, herbs, and spices). It came presented as wrapped inside aluminum tin foil, which the server then opened in front of us on the table with steam coming out. The fish was salmon, and seafood consisted of mussels and shrimps. This dish was just alright. For almost $50, there wasn't much seafood. 3) Pizza Funghi - I liked the very thin and crispy crust, and the sliced roasted mushrooms as toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the "truffled honey" they added on top of the pizza. I didn't taste any truffle, and the honey made it very sweet. Not a fan of sweet pizza. 4) SIDES: Rapini, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms - They got bonus points for being able to customize the sides. They didn't have asparagus that day, so they substituted it for steamed Brussels sprouts with garlic instead - which was heavenly. The Brussels sprouts weren't overcooked at all, and they were generous with the garlic (anything with extra garlic gets extra thumbs up from me). The rapini came out chopped with a side of lemon wedge. Mushrooms weren't on the menu as a side, but we asked and they were able to make a simple side of just mushrooms. Overall the vegetables got 9/10. The chef was very friendly as he came out and talked to us. The server was extremely attentive. Great service overall.

Lots of options for shareable apps; excellent options on pizzas and pastas; and I am always impressed with their mains (as someone that has to limit carbs, options can be limited at some Italian restos). They are also understanding of reasonable diet requests. They have gluten-free options as well. It is more of a "quiet" restaurant in terms of the clientele chatter, at least for the times I was there, so I can hear the music they play ("oldies"!!!!)
