His coworker slid into his place to finish my checkout, when I asked his coworker for his info he then LUNGED across the counter IN MY DIRECTION and slams his name tag at me. I immediately felt threatened especially with my TODDLER 3 y/o daughter! I immediately responded that he better not come any closer and do anything else as I was with my daughter and I felt threatened! I will never patronize this location or probably even 7 eleven brands, I noticed as the other patrons looked on and the clerk Jade didn't offer any empathy in my direction my daughter and I were the only black ppl in there so I'm sure that helps! I feel embarrassed, threatened and certainly discrimination due to my daughter and o being of Color! You are paying for convenience (prices are a bit higher) because most other stores in the immediate area by foot are closed by this time / there's not a ton of competition. I got a few things - gatorade, candy, chips and it came out to 20 bucks. Staff is okay. Felt like they were staring me down. When I got to the registered they greeted me which is the bare minimum but felt like it was the best I was going to get. So I'll give them a half a star for that. Place is organized a bit weird. I could find items in the most random of places. Best to come here if you want one or two items.

Since self-service has been made available in Oregon, I do tend to hit that side and pump my own gas. Employees do constantly check on self-service users to make sure they are doing alright and if not, they assist without hesitation. What I found that really helps get through the self-service pumps is to use the Kroger-Pay inside the Fred Meyer app. It is way easier than using their slow computer screens on the pump, it takes in account your reward points and charges the credit card you have setup in the app. I can start pumping in usually a few seconds after I add the pump number. This also works if you go to full-service and the attendants love it when you do. Lastly the price at Fred Meyer is not as good as Costco, but the lines can be shorter, and it is usually cheaper than any other place nearby.
