I would like to begin by saying that they are getting two stars because their finance and sales people were top notch. I'll say though after they got the car off the lot they pretty much washed their hands and sent me out the door. When I received the vehicle I was told that the other owner had the extra key. Here we are almost a month after I purchased the vehicle and they haven't returned my e-mails nor phone calls. Generally speaking they take care of you until you sign for the vehicle then you're on your own. I guess I'll just put my own money up and encourage others to not visit this location. read more

I have dealt with several dealerships in the metro Little Rock area and Northpoint VW is the best so far. Courteous, quick to get you in, and meets their estimated completion time. If something does not meet my expectations it is immediately corrected before I ever leave the lot. The waiting area is comfortable or a loaner car is made available if needed. We bought our '09 TDI Jetta there new in Spring '09. I was in NWA at the time, and contacted every VW dealer in a 300 mile radius while shopping. It finally came down to North Point, and a dealer in Dallas vying for our business. North Point "threw in" the Bluetooth and won. Literally the best deal within 300 miles. We lived in NWA, and eventually moved out of state so we never used North Point's service center until recently. I generally do all of my own maintenance when I can, but the car was due for it's second transmission service, requiring some special tools, so it was time to see the pros at a VW dealer. We had recently moved back to central AR, so I called every VW dealer in the state. I'm admittedly a "difficult" customer, I have high expectations, and am generally a well informed consumer. So I'm most Service Advisor's nightmare. One of my biggest gripes with the service industry is when, how long a job books for in labor hours, doesn't agree with what a shop actually charges for it, generally makes me grouchy. This discrepancy is often seen when a maintenance is sold as a "package" service, i.e. trans service is part of the "40K mile package," for my car. I'm also that nightmare customer that brings their own parts to the dealer versus paying the dealer mark-up. Some shops will flat out refuse to use customer supplied parts, and often with good reason. So I presented my criteria and terms for the service I needed to every VW dealer in the state, and North Point was the only one to take on this difficult customer. I got the maintenance I needed, was charged a fair amount of time for the labor preformed, and it was done in a timely manner. My car had been washed and vacuumed when I came to pick it up, looks like they even attempted to clean the windows. They were pretty dirty, so I can't expect much for, "free." The Service department provided a shuttle ride to and from work. The shuttle driver was friendly, and a conscientious driver. I'm pleased with all of my dealings with this dealership so far. Labor at $110/hour is a little on the steep side, but on par with the other VW dealers in the state. I'll likely be back next time that transmission is due for service, assuming they'll have me again. read more

We have had a very bad experience with North Point Volkswagon. We traded our vehicle and it has been over 30 days and we have not received the paperwork in the mail to get our tags on the new vehicle. Today we got a late notice from the lender on the vehicle we traded in because they have not paid off our trade in which they immediately sold. No one will return our calls or speak to us on the phone. Very discouraged and disappointed ~~ and angry that my credit is in danger because they won't pay off our trade. Beware!! read more

They charged me for removing and replacing an alternator when they never purchased an alternator. Then when I call to talk to Kyle, he says he no longer wants to do business with me and hangs up in my face. I called the corporate office, but they stated this was locally owned and operated. They are not honest people. I asked for an itemized receipt. They sent one over and recently added a note that said, I brought in my own alternator last year. This was a blatant lie. They originally said someone from AutoZone on Camp Robinson brought the part to them. I spoke with the manager at AutoZone, and that was also false. I am a school teacher here locally, and I am enraged that someone would do this. It is completely despicable behavior.

We headed out on Thursday morning for the 5 day drive back home to Oakland California, taking a northern route to stop by Badlands National Park and Mt Rushmore. By Saturday evening, we arrived in Cheyenne WY, where we spent the night. After looking at the weather forecast for the Sierra mountains, we decided to pick up some chains for our tires at the local Walmart in Laramie, WY, before continuing on our trip. On Sunday morning, as we got close to Laramie on I-80, the engine started sputtering, misfiring and losing power. The EPC light kept flashing and it was clear something was wrong. I was able to make it to the local Walmart parking lot, though the car stalled a few times on the way there. After I parked, I was unable to generate any power beyond idling, and the car continued to stall. I consulted yelp and google to find a local mechanic, but none of the local shops were open on Sunday. I saw a listing for Rise High Auto Repair, which described itself as a mobile mechanic company. I called the number and spoke with the proprietor, Chris on the phone. He said he could be there in 35 minutes and would diagnose the problem for $125 ($95 diagnostic fee and $35 travel fee) in the Walmart parking lot and that the $95 diagnostic fee would count against the repair cost if we opted to have him repair the car. When Chris arrived in his mobile truck, he was incredibly friendly and he got straight to work. He recommended replacing the spark plugs and wires, thinking that would address the issue. After finishing the repair and clearing the codes, he suggested I drive around in the parking lot a few times to reset the computer to see if the repair addressed the issue. However it did not. I made it about 200 feet and the initial problem persisted. He said he thought it could be an issue with the throttle, which he said he could clean, but if it needed replacement, I'd need to spend a couple of days in Laramie, because it was unlikely any of the local part shops would have the necessary part in inventory. He took apart the throttle, cleaned it out, and reset the computer. We decided to take our chances and see if we could make it to Salt Lake City and then Elko NV, which was about 625 miles away. The car ran well all the way to Elko. We got to Elko around 10:30 pm, and I noticed I had a text from Chis checking in on us to see how the trip was going. On Monday morning, we continued our trip back to Oakland and arrived safely with no further issues. Again, I had a text from Chris on Monday, to see if we made it home ok. All told we drove over 1100 miles. I can't say enough about Chris. First, he was incredibly competent. I could tell from speaking with him that he is extremely knowledgeable about automobile repairs. Watching him work, I felt like I was watching a surgeon. He made all of the repairs in the Walmart parking lot and he worked efficiently and thoroughly to ensure that he was able to repair the car. It was cold and windy on this particular Sunday and he invested over 4 hours of his time fixing our car outside. Finally, he was incredibly honest and kind. He cared enough to check in on us until we got home, something he really didn't need to do. I unequivocally recommend using Chris and his company if you find yourself in Laramie WY.

He come back and tell me he got two tires for $195. He told me that he hope that I make it home safely because the air was gonna come out of my tire this was yesterday & today is January 29 And my tire still has air in it so for one of your employees to come and try to manipulate me and try to make me believe I had a nail in my tire when he never really looked at the whole tire and told me that I had a low percentage of air in my tire when he took all the air out of my fucking tire and then turned around and filled it up. I will not be back to this place for free ever again. How dare y'all try to trick me into buying a tire, trust my dad taught me very well. I went home and jacked my car up and checked my tire and behold no nail.

Smash & grab late Saturday afternoon left our F250 with a shattered & missing driver door window…read more... right before forecasted rain and big drop in temps, of course. Checked the website and filled out Capitol's online form, not really knowing what to expect. Long story short: New window was installed and all the shattered glass vacuumed up by 11 AM on Monday morning. Wow! Phenomenal customer service and a fair price.

This review is strictly for the Service Department. Have purchased three new Volkswagens from Northpoint starting in 2004. Always take the cars in for routine or unexpected service. All personnel in service are friendly and informative. They greet you as soon as you arrive and listen to your comments. They make sure you are aware of the use of their Shuttle and where to sit and wait if that is your choice. I always wait as I drive an hour to the dealership. One or more of the service desk employees keep you informed of the progress with your car. They consult you for any unexpected service needed. They offer you alternatives if available. Once car is ready to go, they go over the service or repairs done and review the inspection report. read more

My wife and I are very pleased with our vehicle purchase at North Point Volkswagen. We bought a Volkswagen Passat for my wife and from start to finish our buying experience was perfect. Our salesman, Lucian Stanisor, was committed to providing excellent customer service and made sure we were happy with the deal. A month later we came back to get our windows tinted and he was still providing great customer service. When our car was done, he drove us to the tint shop and waited with us until it was ready. I have owned alot of vehicles in my time from various dealers and I will say the staff at North Point VW in Sherwood have never let me down! They are always the best on the phone and in person, I can't say enough good about them! Top notch Dealership. I went in just to look. Met the General Manager, Jon Collins who took the time to understand why I was there, and what I hoped to find. They did not have what I needed but a few days later I got a call about a used vehicle they had just traded for. When I got there it was even better than described. Imagine that. Was introduced to the service manager, Andy, who took it upon himself to do more than promised. I'm impressed with the system and with the people. My wife has a 2012 VW Beetle and Mr. Tim Pendergras made sure that the repairs needed were performed and provided us with transportation, while it was in the shop. He also kept us informed of the repair status and when it was completed and ready for pick up. The VW was in mint condition, freshly washed and clean inside. I receive notices that it is time to take my car in for service. The staff is helpful and friendly. The waiting areas are comfortable. I like getting a complete check of my vehicle when the oil is changed, not just a change and drive. It takes longer, but I feel in the long run it will be worth it. Great and fantastic service provided by NLR service dept. They were quick to notice two warranty changes available to me. Changed the oil, applied the service orders and rotated my tires. Had to keep my car overnight, but called me before 8 the next morning saying it was ready to go. Fabulous service department! read more

The listing said vehicle price $13,950 with a down payment of $1,395 (10%) 11% interest rate and a balance of $12,555 to be financed with a payment of $273. My credit was in the good range of 621-699. We liked the jeep and called the lot. We confirmed the price to be $13,950 with the down payment of $1,395 and a balance to finance $12,555. They said that is correct. We asked what warranty comes with the jeep. They said 24 months 24,000 miles. So looked like a good deal. Asked for the Vin so we could get the insurance ready. The title was rebuilt and that was concerning. We went to the lot and asked about the rebuilt title. The owners name is Abdullah Al-maliki. He said the vehicle was hit on the driverside rear. He said it was minor damage. I will note that after all was done we researched a rebuil this is only part of my complaint. Message me on facebook Rodney Hall sherwood arkansas. I have never purchased a bad vehicle here, and despite the fact that their prices are a little higher than some of the other used dealerships around town it's worth it just for the fact that you get great service and a dependable vehicle in the long run. They also offer in house financing which I love. The salesmen here are not the average non feeling will say anything uncaring men and women that most other dealerships tend to have so that is also another good reason to choose Economy. I will be returning here to make my next purchase when I decide to purchase another used vehicle. Just wanted to write this review to let people know who are interested in a decent used dealership that this is one of the good ones out there.
