We got it home, unwrapped it, and most of the tree fell to the floor. It was virtually dead. It should have been given away or at the very most sold for a very minimal price. $60 for this almost dead tree was a rip off. As soon as we realized how dried out it was, I called him and left a message and have received no call back, I texted him and have not heard back, I drove by the lot and there was no one there. Also, showing up at The Home Depot with a shopping list helps me keep my off-budget expenses down, which is a huge benefit, since, as everyone knows, where overspending it concerned, The Home Depot is the Amazon of Costcos. Scan it to summon an employee to assist you. It only took about two minutes for an employee to arrive. She unlocked the cage; I grabbed the trimmer and she escorted me to self-checkout. I was super excited because it looks real and is beautiful. I'm so excited to decorate at the end of the year. I was impressed by the girl at checkout. She wasn't flustered by the crowds. The tree I was waiting to get packed for me ended up being packed and sold to someone else due to poor communication. She immediately made sure I knew what else was available and any additional discounts she could ask about on my behalf. Loved that! They were putting out Valentine's day and St. Patty's day stuff in December. I thought this is crazy but I will definitely be there next week for the Valentine sales. I love all the coupons weekly and the variety of crafts. You can't go wrong at HL.

Then an associate named Ron who does not work In that department came over to give it a try which was really nice of him. He tried and our hats off to him for the effort. He then went and found Brenda who came over from Appliances to give it a try. She was able to work the machine and cut the blinds. Both Ron and Brenda offered that extra customer service that made our visit to Lowes/Santee a memorable one. We were completely satisfied! What compelled me to write this review is the fact that there was a HANDMADE Christmas tree made from paint swatches/squares and specks of paint on the gallon can I was picking up. They picked plants that did not thrive without thought to sunlight and temperature. After this issue was brought up to the owners wife, she did not rectify that situation and wanted me to pay for the arrangement again, that is very unfortunate since I like to support small family businesses. I had also used them for yard maintenance which they did halfheartedly, just blowing leaves and debris and doing the least they can. So after giving them a chance and talking to the landscapers/gardeners and not seeing any improvement of their work, I decided to find new gardeners.
