Of course, I had to try one of these dried up grapes. Not so bad. LOL

We decided to take a day trip to this Christmas tree farm in Ramona today. The weather was crisp and clear. Not sunny hence the darker photos. It's about a 45 minute ride from San Diego over hills and mountains and valleys. Oh my goodness! All that fresh air just loving it. This Farm is over 60 years old as people have already bought their trees at this point there were only a few people there. What I loved about this place is that it was so unpretentious and you could feel the love there of the people that ran it . I've been to the majority of wineries in Murrieta and Temecula and never felt so good about a space like this. Well, that's just me keeping it simple. There is a small Winery here as you can see from the photos The Vines are bare. We didn't buy or drink any wine but it has some really delicious sweet hot cider. They also make their own pomegranate balsamic vinegar.. there were a few old trees around that has leftover pomegranates. There was a man playing guitar in a woman singing old songs from the'70s. I can't begin to tell you how peaceful and homie this place was. I could have stayed there all day doing absolutely nothing except breathing in the air and seeing all the space. We will definitely go back there next year and chop our own tree. Please support your local farmers it's a hard job but they keep on doing it for us.

I've always loved Christmas, and wanted to keep the spirit of the holidays alive living in the city (big change from a small town country girl). I found this place, and am so glad I did! Really gives you the "feel-good" vibe of the country. I loved picking out my own Christmas tree and also loved how they offered hot cider while strolling through the beautiful trees (all sizes) and listening to the sounds of the adorable goats on the property. I couldn't recommend this place more and will definitely be back!

This was the first time my family and I visited this particular tree farm but definitely won't be our last. Great selection of trees with a variety of different sizes. The owner and staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was very happy with everything.

Great place to get a tree! Huge selection of differing sizes. Nice owners (and friendly pups too)! Look for the $5 coupon in local Ramona newspapers or with a Yelp check-in. In addition, they offer a 10% senior discount. Looking forward to going back soon to check out their winery. Please help support a local business, it's not that they are making any money holding up this tradition

Very good place to get a christmas tree, friendly staff. they are open to public to take professional photo without charing extra fee!

This is the second year we've visited the Family Christmas Tree Farm looking for a Christmas tree last minute. Same as last year, we were not sure if we were going to get a Christmas tree since years past it has been an ordeal purchasing, transporting, cutting and placing the tree. But my hesitation is mainly that I'm in an arm cast second holiday/Christmas season in a row, making it extremely difficult for me to help out and leaving all the hard work to hubs. I'm so blessed he's all mine! I love Christmas and of course need a Christmas tree regardless of the situation... so when I say, let's go take a look and see what trees they have, the hubs is all aboard! Located out in El Cajon it is not terribly far away, about 20 min give or take. Each time we've visited, it's been in the evening, not extremely packed busy, a consistent flow of customers coming and going. Our first visit, I didn't know what to expect. It's not a huge Christmas tree farm, big enough to have a good selection of different trees of all sizes. Pre-cut and cut your own. I don't know what it is, maybe under the evening light, the snow flocked trees stood out like a shining star! Two years in a row, we bought a snow flocked tree, last year a Douglas fir, this year a Noble fir and both at an incredible price! Granted, it was the week before Christmas, the trees were both only $99! I loved our first tree last year, but I love this year's tree even more! We came, we saw, I found my perfect tree in under 10 minutes! We both walked around the cut trees and I just knew which one I wanted, but we both made sure there wasn't another that looked better. About 7-8' tall, he was fluffy, evenly spaced branches, perfectly straight center stem at top, he was the one! The process was super simple and fast, all done and ready to go home with 5 minutes! We took our tree tag and paid for it. Next we found an employee that removed the base (optional rebar stand if you want to keep it), bagged our tree and placed it in our car (Tesla MY) and it fit perfectly! We trimmed the trunk base and up it went! With some minor adjustments, we had our Christmas tree all set up! Smoothest year so far! This year's tree was perfect! Absolutely gorgeous! Simply the best! Admission to the pumpkin patch was free, and so was parking, so you really can't beat that. I went right when they opened on the weekend to beat the crowd, and it was totally worth it. The staff were so nice and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was super relaxed and family-friendly. The pumpkin patch itself was adorable and had tons of pumpkins to choose from. There is ample room for the children to run around. There was also face painting for them as well. They also had a few local vendors selling treats. I grabbed some salty popcorn and kettle corn (both delicious!) and treated myself to a red sangria that was just as good. Overall, I had a lot of fun here, and it was definitely worth the drive. I wouldn't mind coming back, maybe next time in the evening to enjoy the sunset vibes. I also learned that this winery turns their pumpkin patch into a tree farm for the winter season, so I'm hoping when that happens, they'll have their hard cider available for purchase!

We had to plan this event from 3000 miles away, and they were incredibly helpful and courteous. They helped us find a great wedding coordinator, DJ, food vendor, and wine selection. On the day of the event, The Vineyard performed perfectly. I got a ton of compliments and I'm pretty sure our local guests will become regular patrons. The entire process was magical, and we can't thank the entire staff of the Vineyard enough. We will always be big fans and can't recommend them any more highly. This is a very special place.

It had to be smaller than our usual so she can help decorate it, full, soft, smell nice, etc. Upon our 1st lap I didn't see our tree, then cue Israel. Seems very healthy/fresh too, shedded so very little while we transported and lit it. I'm not sure how their prices compare to other lots around San Diego, but I will say I think this beauty was & is worth every penny. Can't wait to decorate it with our little tomorrow night. We will def be going back in years to come. Thanks gents!!!
