still a great place to chill and have your kids run around for a few hours. This time there was no petting zoo or face paint. But they had way more bounce houses for all different age levels. More seating and tables and a few couches. They sell drinks and snacks between $1-$2. It gets crowded in the morning, but very calm in the afternoon. be careful with the kids, we had some incidents where older kids were kicking my kids down the slide and not allowing them through. Parents must of been somewhere else so I asked the older kid to stop and he left my kids alone. Prices are now about $15-$20 per child but its all day and you can leave and come back later. This place is the biggest bang for the buck! Unlimited jumping for the entrance fee. Snack available for reasonable prices. Good selection of beautiful & unique pumpkins. Picnic seating provided if you decide to bring your own munchies. Very festively decorated. Staff is friendly & happy and make sure you feel welcomed. There are many cute props available for taking picture. "Bathroom" is available. Lots of chairs for parents to use while watching the kids. Bounce house deflated on top of the children and the workers were too busy playing in their phones to come help until we had to yell at them to come over. The children got out safely. We wanted to support a local business when buying our tree this year (and have come for Halloween in years past as well) but had a terrible experience and will never be giving them another dime of our money. The two teenage boys who make the tree deliveries very intentionally behaved so shamefully and inexcusably that I'm not going to repeat here. Although tree delivery is free, I wouldn't trust these kids to be in your home! Even picking out the tree and trying to complete the purchase was a mess, though I would never have written a negative review just for that. Tree pricing is also not great, but again we were happy to pay more and shop local- just not anymore. read more

I went to Wayne's world on Dec14th. I thought it would be Good to support a Small business. The sales person was pushy, measured my tiny tree and claimed it was a hair over 4 ft so it went up in price, put it in a stand and it woUld not stay upright. I already paid for it and knew if I wanted a different tree, he was going to fight me. I decided to walk away without the tree and $54. I will never go there again. 2017 Pumpkin Patch: Sun-Thur 10-6pm, Fri/Sat 10-8pm. $8 weekday, $10 weekend Cash only, ATM on site but just come with cash. This is our first year here in town and the 4yr old loves it! 7 large jump houses including 3 with big slides. The little ones can always find a jumper without big kids so feels good and safe for all ages. Face painting on some days, weekends it seems. Small pumpkins $5-$7, then $10-$12 next size, and so on as they get larger the cost is a bit more. We love it, been 4 times in a week and a half! Nice shady area with chairs and sofas for the parents. Clean out-houses. Cheap snacks and drinks. read more

This place is conveniently located, has a nice selection of trees, and the young energetic employees provide excellent customer service. That's about it. The rest of the experience was negative. The first red flag was the high relative cost compared to Home Depot and other competing businesses in our neighborhood. Trees are more than twice as expensive as Big-Box Retailers! The owner (Wayne) demands only cash or Venmo for each transaction. No credit cards accepted. Then he proceeds to charge you sales tax on every CASH transaction (hmmm, suspicious). Very fishy smell, I would say. Then charges you extra for a tree stand if you don't have one at home. In my case, it was an additional $40 to the already $200 that I had paid for a small-sized tree. The tree stand didn't end up working for us (flimsy and started leaking), so we brought it back, dropped off the defective stand at the establishment, and requested a full refund. The employees told us they didn't have the authority to issue the refund and instead instructed us to speak directly to Wayne. He immediately denied our online request for a $40 refund, and wouldn't return our calls. I made two other separate random visits to this business but Wayne was not present at those times. We ended up purchasing a heavy duty tree stand elsewhere, and will never step foot in this place again. The owner obviously tries to seize the opportunity to profit as much as possible during this peak holiday season (understandably so), but he won't take my family's money this time around with his antics. There are plenty of other good cheerful places in Encinitas that operate without having to be dishonest and underhanded in their approach. read more

We visited yesterday to buy a tree, stand, and get them delivered. The lot was busy, but we found someone to help us right away. The tree was delivered within the delivery window. Unfortunately, I woke up this morning to find water all over the floor. The stand was leaking and no amount of duct tape would hold the flow. I drove to WW at 10am (when I thought they opened), and they offered to send someone right away to replace the stand. The guy followed me home and is fixing the stand now. Great service! Stop buying trees from Wayne's World. Worst customer service ever. I Purchased a tree on a Sunday should have been delivered on Wednesday during a three hour delivery window, which came and went. Received a phone call @ 9pm from a delivery guy letting me know that he found my tree in a random lot not where I purchased it. I called that delivery man the next day and he told me their flocker broke and all tress were being flocked at another vendors lot. The rain came down hard so the tree was not delivered the next day either and no communication. The delivery guy followed up again to schedule a delivery time over the weekend Sunday. He gave me Wayne's number for contact. My tree was supposed to be delivered between 1-3 I made contact with Wayne and was under the impression they had my tree ready. Well I was wrong my delivery time came and went and no contact from Wayne even after I sent a text message. I went down to their location and demanded to know where my tree was. They had no idea they lost my tree. How does someone lose a tree that was once found on another lot? They had their money, but I had no tree and a child upset that they didn't have have his tree. Worst customer service, no contact information, no organization! Do not buy from them! They are expensive too! read more

Unfortunately Home Depot had a huge line so we decided to stop by Wayne's as promised a tree for our kids, our son picked a tree that he liked, a worker measured, said $50, went to pay ( the tree was tiny but still looked nice) and here's where it got somewhat shady.... the girl quoted $69 as "the tree is taller....", the worker who was there started talking to her explaining something and whispering.... then after a few minutes, the girl said ok $53 something with tax, gave her cc, she said cash or check (have they heard about cashless rule nowadays?), they have an atm machine that charges 3.50 fee! Ok my son was excited so ended up still paying 58 something including tax and fee) in cash that I am pretty sure they are not reporting...left with a tree that my kids like (so that's all that matters really ) but with not such a nice feeling if "being had" so buyer beware, bring cash and make sure you discuss and confirm the price prior to paying... also the cashier girl had a really nasty attitude and demeanor.... not something you want to experience when buying a Christmas tree.... read more

Its cool for the pumpkin patch they have jumpers for the kids, Its $8 all day. The place isnt crowded, we went on a Friday night. They had plenty of pumpkins to choose from. Im only giving this place 3 stars because compared to the other pumpkins patches I've been to this one was mediocre. They did have cute decorations, had a very homey vibe to it. Just very small and not much to do besides the jumpers. They are cash only but they do have a ATM on site. read more

My two year old loves this place, we spend hours here. Great selection, but not cheap. However, a really fun environment. Several bounce houses, a little art station, face painting... And they set it up to be really comfortable, lots of chairs and some sofas and tables, you can even bring a little picnic and hang out while you're kids play. We have purchased our Christmas trees over the years from Wayne's World. Each year the service and the recognition being a repeat customer has meant less and less. We decided to try one more year and purchased two trees yesterday with delivery scheduled between 9-11 am today. In keeping with them going down hill each year, we are still waiting for our trees ( 11:30 ). Won't be getting our trees from Wayne's World any more. read more
