I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

I never had that experience at my local color me mine, but I get it. There's a variety of items to choose from. My party had a difficult time choosing lol. I'm not the best at painting but I had a great time putting together a plate for my niece

I would love to volunteer myself too if I lived closer! Aside from events like the open house and summer camps for kids, the best way to get acquainted with the Little Parrot Farm is through their affordable tours on Saturdays. While it may be frustrating for some that you can't just go in and see the animals any day, it really is in their best interest that a staff member is there to supervise these interactions. Too many places allow visitors to harass their animals or feed them random stuff that isn't good for them. And if an animal reacts defensively, it can be very difficult and sad to handle the aftermath. It's also amazing just seeing the same animals every time, and not being worried that anyone is going to be taken to slaughter. My favorite friends are Andy the alpaca, the two sweet pigs, and Maya the rescued border collie. I don't know the names of some of the newer pups, but they were all super friendly. They sell T shirts with their most popular residents featured on them that make for great souvenirs to take home. The farm part of the property is also beautiful and abundant. They sell fresh veggies online for pickup that look amazing, but that I haven't had a chance to try yet. Can't wait to come back for the next event!

It reminds you of why they call it Orange County. If I went to school here I'd be here probably once a week. Otherwise it's great to come if you live in the OC.

From the parking lot it was easy to follow the signs along to the garden. The garden had areas that represented Woodlands, Mediterranean, Dessert, and a Cultivated Collection. There were walking paths but I still recommend closed toed shoes since it's a bit sandy. They had many benches throughout for resting or handing out and admiring nature. We spent about an hour here, but to be fair I'm not that into nature. I GOT A BUG BITE and it swelled and was super itchy. Sigh. I think someone who super loved nature or wanted to take their time to hang out could take 2-3 admiring all the plant life. My FAVORITE moments here was when we came across wildlife. My favorite were the rabbit, turtle, and crane. It's beautiful. Great spot to get some steps in and absorb some sunlight.

I grew up in Japan and I've been going to R1 since 2005〜 Machines are pretty frequently updated here and it's maintained somewhat good. Time to time there are some rhythm games that has faulty censor, but I'm sure it will improve in the future as I've seen this place improve as a whole. One of the downsides for me is Spotcha, as a lot of their "sports" games/machines tends to be faulty and the last 3 times I went, the batting cage especially tends to not be working, but still letting people in. If it needs maintenance, I think people will understand if they put a barricade or a sign that says "under maintenance" rather than just leaving it open and people will just go home disappointed. Keep the actually working ones open, and close/put up a sign might help with maintaining customer satisfaction level. I think they're doing a great job with brining in colab's though!

[Parking]: The parking lot was quite packed on Saturday night, but I was able to find an available spot within the plaza. Parking is free. [Cost]: $5 for 5 tokens. Extra bonus tokens are included with purchases of $20 or more (e.g. $20 = 22 tokens, $100 = 115 tokens, and $500 = 625 tokens). [How does it work?]: Unlike other claw machine arcades where you keep whatever plushies you win, here at Infinity Claws you are allowed to trade in your plushies for points in exchange for desirable prizes. Please note that upgrades/trades are only available for green and yellow machines on the same day. If you win items from red machines, you keep the item with no upgrade/trade option. [Difficulties]: Green machines (easy) = 1 token, yellow machines (medium) = 2 tokens, and red machines (hard - no upgrade/trade option) = 5 tokens. All machines have the double-tap feature. [Prizes]: They have a Monkey D. Luffy in Los Angeles Lakers uniform action figure for 100 points. Their plush selection was quite impressive and I would argue it is better than some of the plushies from Round1. Other prizes include graded Pokémon cards, sealed Pokemon products, Funko Pop figures, Labubu, etc. [Other comments]: They also have gashapon machines for those who are not into claw machines. [Conclusion]: Looking for a claw machine with a secure grip that makes you feel like you are actually good at claw machines? This is definitely the spot to check out if you are not focused on maximizing trade-in value and want to focus on having a good time & win something.
