It was under warranty, Elitech handled everything for us, and we did not have to reach back out to LG to work with them. We had reached out to another company prior to contacting Elitech. Paid them a $95.00 service call to be told that we have to work with LG to get the compressor when prior to them coming to the house we were told that they work with LG and will handle everything. We also had a language barrier with the tech which made things difficult. We wish we would have known about Elitech because that would have been our only call.
